Mariah Carey (feat. Ne-Yo) - Angels Cry

Was browsing around looking for a nice, new English song (and listened to painfully awful songs that really shouldn't be up on those charts sigh) when I stumbled upon this song. I like this song :)). It sounds relaxing and sweet, but the lyrics are not as cheery -- I mean, what did I expect, the title is Angels Cry, lol ^^;;. But anyway! I like the song. Mariah Carey's voice is as melodious as always. I actually quite like Ne-Yo's songs too x).

Brian - In My Head

This has been long overdue, lol. This song is very catchy! It's a remake of an English song, but there isn't much difference with the original other than the voice singing ^^;;. The Korean lyrics are so much better though LOL. I love it when Brian speaks/sings/raps in English! About the MV, Brian looks damn fine :DD. I think he's had better hairstyles, but he pulls off that curly fringe well. And he should TOTALLY use white backgrounds more when filming his MVs, 'cos somehow that makes him look hot xDD. That girl in the MV is very pretty :). His live performances (1 2 3 4) are impressive; his vocals are very steady even while dancing.

I don't like to be at Counter A; too much free time even on a Saturday night, too many shadows.

100325 Beast winning #1 @ M!Countdown

FINALLY! I wasn't surprised to see Dongwoon crying a river (LOL don't mind me), but it was kinda unexpected that Junhyung cried so much as he has such a tough exterior haha. Almost everyone cried, except for Hyunseung who looked stoned; he must be in shock (no pun intended!) haha. Kikwang held it in during the speech but totally broke down during the encore. Leader was so sweet; he comforted the members when they were crying hard, even when he himself cried too :3. They totally deserve this award, since I've watched how good they are live. (I've been watching all of their performances LOL ^^;;. They changed a bit of the choreography recently, by the way.) Congrats, guys :DD! SO BEAST ♥♥♥!

The encore was adorable hahaha. Most of them were crying so they either didn't sing or sing while crying lol. Hyunseung and Yoseob were singing almost normally though. So we get to hear Yoseob's sexy "'Cos I'll be there~" background part LOLOL.

I love how 2AM was being such a good sport, hugging the Beast members, congratulating and looking genuinely happy for them :). Jokwon was jumping up and down gleefully at the beginning of the encore LMAO. WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME JOKWON.

Warning: start of ranting.

During award acceptance speech, there are a few types of reactions: one, straight away break down and cry, and not able to say anything; two, be completely stoned and again, not say anything; three: be very calm, finish saying the speech with a happy face; four, hold back one's tears and say the speech. Out of these reactions, I've always had a soft spot for the fourth. Like Hyunjoong who said SS501's best new artiste award acceptance speech with his face screwed up and his voice breaking every two seconds 'cos he was trying so hard not to cry. Like Yoseob who looked all flustered while he said the speech until Doojoon took over, looked all happy and sang all his parts and some of the other members' parts during the encore, turned his back away from the audience, stood very still and tilted his head up (I bet he was about to cry then), then turned back around and continued singing normally, even when his voice changed at some parts. I don't know, I find that very endearing.

Yoseob is a crazy kid who is hyper all the time and is hilariously adorable without trying to be, but besides that, he sings very well and has a great voice. I like him a lot ♥♥♥♥♥. I wanna know what pill he's on; he's always so high lol xD.

Kikwang is very cute too :3. He's super random and is such a kid, despite his muscular body. He reminds me of Taeyang a lot, like really! Oh and I like Junhyung too :DD.

Beast - Shock

I meant to post this song a long time ago but I kept forgetting to do it lol. I wasn't that impressed when I first heard it, but now I like it a lot! It's very catchy and easy to remember. Junhyung's rap part is totally awesome :DD. He has a GREAT sense of rhythm. The MV and live performances are great too! I like the choreography for the "Come back back back to me" part. They all perform really well live; one wouldn't be able to tell they're newbies ^^. I'm really impressed with Yoseob's vocals live! He always sounds totally steady, as if he's not singing and dancing at the same time. He had a cute image during the first mini album promotion days, but now he changed his hair colour to grey and built up some muscle, and dang he looks hot xD. The grey hair suits him much better! I love how the fans sing Junhyung's "Oh lalalalalala" part and Junhyung finishes with an "AW~!" haha. The more I see Kikwang, the more he reminds me of Taeyang, haha ^^;;. When I watched the radio performances, I heard clearly how the "'Cos I'll be there~" background part sounds like; DAMN it sounds so sexy! And apparently Yoseob sings it. I had that impression before I found out that he was the one singing okay, so I'm not saying this just because I have a huge Yoseob bias. Seriously!

I'll be honest and say that I was initially attracted to Yoseob because he was SO CUTE in Bad Girl MV, but actually he isn't all that good-looking. When you look at him closely when he's not performing and without all those eye make-up, he looks like a monkeykid lol xP. He's a very good singer though! And good singers are charismatic on stage when they're performing :)). I love his singing!

Beast has its own tag now, because I have a feeling that I'll be pimping more of their music soon xDD. I may watch their shows when I find the motivation to, haha ^^;;.

2AM - 잘못했어 (I Did Wrong)

2AM's new song! It's very different from their usual stuff; rapping and autotune never did go with 2Am before, lol ^^;;. I can't really make out who's rapping, but I think I heard Jinwoon and Changmin. It's still all good, though; I like how they're trying new stuff. I don't care much for the lyrics of the song, but the song itself is nice! They all sound very good as always. I realised that Seulong is singing so little in this song haha ^^;;. Jinwoon is singing the chorus; that's new xD. (If I close my eyes and listen to him singing, I can still mistake it for Hyungjoon lol xP.) I usually don't really like "hard" voices (I describe voices using words like "thin", "thick", etc lol, I'm weird like that xDD), but there's something about the slight hardness in Changmin's voice when he hits the higher notes, that I like. And I like Jokwon's singing.

I have a lot to say about the MV (LOL)! That last picture they all took together is adorable :DD. The storyline common -- some guys liking the same girl, then I think the girl fell sick; lol doesn't that sound like Big Bang's Day by Day MV haha. I'm more interested in how the four guys' friendship changed though. I mean, look at how close they were when they were cute little kids! And then they became all bad-ass in high school o_O. The storyline isn't really clear here, so I hope there's a second part to this MV. As for the members, everyone is probably drooling over Seulong looking hot with the leather jacket and motorbike, but seriously my eyes were on Jokwon the whole time. There's something oddly attractive about him in this MV -- I think it's the whole DJ thing, with headphones slung over his shoulder and cool attitude. And I LOVE that scene where the girl danced beside him when he was DJ-ing, then he put on his earphone on her, then looked at her, looked down and smiled. SO PRETTY GUH *__*. Jinwoon really needs a new hairstyle and hair colour :S. That girl is pretty :D.

I like 2AM :)).

By the way, I realised that I've pretty much lost interest in variety shows. Am I growing old or what, lol ^^;;. I do still fangirl a lot over awesome music though :D.

Epik High - Run

I like this song, especially the chorus. My favourite part is actually the Run, run, run away background voice at the beginning of the chorus LOL. And the MV is touching :). Tablo is really rocking the rocker look! It doesn't feel right that Tukutz isn't there though ^^;;.

Liar Game Season 2

The story continued where Season 1 left off. I have nothing much to say since the main characters stayed pretty much the same; Akiyama was still the cool-headed genius, Nao the gullible baka, and Fukunaga the deceitful freak.

As with the previous season, there were new mad-looking villains. Here, the story strayed further away from the manga, even though most of the main game itself stayed the same. I guess it was to prepare for the end of the series, haha ^^;;. I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything! This season's villain, Katsuragi, was a convincing one. She voiced out our - the audience's - inner thoughts, that people who are nice to others unconditionally are just doing it for their own self-satisfaction; in order words, it's just hypocrisy. Or am I the only one who thinks that way? HAHA xDD.

I laughed when Nao said that Akiyama was "warm", LOL. I mean, Akiyama was basically a kind person, but he was cool and almost aloof, so that word doesn't really fit him haha. And I feel that he was especially patient and nice towards Nao too; he wasn't that nice towards everyone. Maybe it was because Nao is an innocent, honest person who was too nice and honest for her own good, but I say it's definitely because he felt that she was special, HAHAHA xDD. And Nao worshiped the ground Akiyama walked on, so enough said xP.

That old man (Katsuragi's accomplice) was so hilarious LMAO! There were still exaggerated computer effects and overly dark lighting. They weren't as irritating as the previous season's, though, so that's okay.

Erika Toda has such a flawless complexion! I'm so envious, sighhh.

The whole series is gonna end in a movie! I'm looking forward to it :D.

I love this song; so catchy :DD! Say no no no no no!

I like Beast's music :). They've released only two mini albums, but all the songs are good. They all perform well live too. I need to learn to differentiate their voices though. Yoseob is SO cute :3. (He's the lead singer, so naturally he sings very well ^^.) Kikwang is good-looking, and he kinda reminds me of Taeyang. Dongwoon looks so much like Chen Yi (the Taiwanese singer) at the first glance, but his voice is kinda like TOP's haha. Junhyung's rapping is good, and he even sounds good singing! And I love his rapping a lot; his raps are always among my favourite parts of each song :D. Doojoon gives off TOP's 'feel' LOL. Hyunseung's voice belongs to the Youngsaeng/Ryeowook type. And it's a good thing all the members are older than me, hahaha! But the members' names are the hardest to remember among all the boybands I've encountered so far, I have no idea why haha ^^;;.

LOL HAHAHA. Habits are such scary things.

Now, I smile even as I cry. Because I'm not a kid anymore :).
