Whenever I hear a Jay Chou song being played somewhere, in a store, on TV, wherever, my ears perk up and I grin to myself, and suddenly my day would seem a little better. I think, only Jay's songs have that effect on me, haha.

24.07.10 Jay Chou The Era Concert

The concert was AMAZING! I think the main highlight of the concert is the technology used. The 4D effect in the beginning was super cool 'cos it looked like Jay was really there, and throughout the concert there were nice 3D animations too. Jay sang quite a number of songs from his new album, and also a couple of unexpected ones from his older albums. This time he only played the piano and a little bit of guitar though. He danced for a few songs too. Vocally he performed okay, with some variations here and there, but a few times he sounded strained. He worked the crowd well, changing some of the lyrics on purpose and telling the audience that the chairs were for us to put our bags, not for us to sit on. Audience-wise, generally the crowd was very supportive, waving their lightsticks and cheering for Jay. It's awesome how everyone seemed to know how to sing every song, so there were lots of sing-alongs, initiated or not. The lyrics were displayed on the screens for us and a big LED screen at the back for Jay, which I think was a very good move haha XD. A few times I saw Jay laughing a little to himself when he changed the lyrics; lol he's so cute. There was this tall guy I noticed two rows from mine who was wearing working clothes and looked all prim and proper, but during one upbeat song he was waving his stick (the thing with air in it, I don't know what it's called) and even dancing a little LOL. That, is the power of Jay's music :).

Jay's mum and grandmother were there too! They were sitting at the last row of our block ^^. I think it's sweet how the two always follow Jay around for his concert tours. And Stefanie Sun was there too in the audience!

As for my personal experience, we were sitting at Row 32 in the middle block, so we had a good view. I had a really great time cheering until my voice was gone, and waved the lightstick the whole time until my hand was so sore. The people around my friend and I weren't that "high", probably because they were all adults. We were being very good audience, even if I say so myself, 'cos we cheered even for The Drifters -- the guest performer -- when all the people around us were sitting down, that one of them saw and pointed at us XD. And before the encore we were the only ones shouting for Jay haha ^^;;. There was a video in the middle of the concert showing Jay's journey in the past 10 years, at the end of which there were words on the screen from Jay, thanking us for being with him all these years, saying that he hopes that we'll still be with him for the next 10 years, and reassuring us that he won't fall easily, since he's Jay Chou. I teared a little at that, lol.

I love Jay :).

You know, I used to not say that I love any male celebrity in my blogs. Sure, I said all the time that I loved this pairing, that band, but I never said that I loved any one particular male artiste; that was where I drew the line. The first time I did, though, was after Jay's previous concert here; I said that I love Jay. After that post, somehow I started saying that I loved this male singer, that male actor, as if the word "love" is free. But every time I say I love Jay, it surprises me and also scares me a little, because each time, I realise that I mean it.

G.NA (Feat. 용준형) - 꺼져 줄게 잘 살아 (I'll Back off So You Can Live)

This song is nice! G.NA is pretty and has a nice voice; she is gonna be someone to watch out for in the future. I think Cube Entertainment has good artists ^^. YOON LEADER ♥____♥. You know, I like Doojoon and all, but I used to not understand why he's listed as #1 ideal boyfriend and stuff. But after watching this MV, I totally know why. I mean, this is his first time acting so I don't think his acting would be that great yet, but omg the way he looked at her had me melting into a puddle of goo. I think the director of the MV did great in capturing the intimate, sweet scenes, hehe. And Junhyung! Seriously, how hot can he get?! He appeared only for a few seconds, but I was like o_____o the whole time LOL. But I'm kinda disappointed that they autotuned his rap :S. Anyway, this is a great song! After reading the translations, though, I feel that the lyrics and the MV don't really match; Doojoon should have been a jerk, but no, with the crying and all the sweet scenes, he really didn't seem like one. Or maybe the company was just trying hard to promote Doojoon as the "perfect guy", haha ^^;;.

요섭&가윤 - 애인이 생기면 하고 싶은 일 (Things I Want to Do When I Have a Lover)

Yoseob and Gayoon (4Minute) singing G.NA's debut song. It's such a sweet song ^^. They sound really GREAT! But I think it's not a very good move on Cube's part to have them performing this song before G.NA, because now people are liking this cover a lot, perhaps even more than the original. Me? I'm Yoseob's-voice-biased, so I prefer this version too xP. Anyway, Yoseob and Gayoon's voices go well together, and it's cute how comfortable they are with each other. And they're both wearing white; couple look xD! Yoseob is SO utterly adorable in this x). He was totally enjoying himself singing the song, since he mentioned before that he really likes this song. I was having a really bad day on Monday when this came out, and it made me cheer up a little. I think Yoseob has this unexplainable power to make others happy :).

BEASTly spam!

I wonder if a beast is supposed to be this adorable, LMAO. Favourite moments: the sound Yoseob made at 0:20, the whole Dongwoon/Yoseob at #5, the sound and gesture Kikwang made at 1:21, and the chaos the members made at the end to separate Dooseob.

Yoseob is a total NATURAL in this, which was probably why he did this Digital Music Chart so many times (1 2 3). I'll end up writing super long essays if I were to comment on each one, so I'll just say that my favourite out of these 3 is the one with IU x).

I think I come across as extremely Yoseob-biased in this blog, but actually, I've decided that Kikwang is the most adorable member of Beast :D.

K.Will - 선물 (Present)

I must have watched this MV at least 10 times, lol. This is a very nice, sweet song ^^. I realised that Daesung (Big Bang) not only looks like K.Will; he sounds like him too xP. Anyway, Dongho (U-Kiss) and Thunder (MBLAQ) are in the MV too. Dongho is cute and Thunder is good-looking. I swear I see a player in Dongho, though, but I must be mistaken lol. And KIKWANG~! I think the reason why Kikwang is so adorable is because he seems very sincere in everything he does; it's as if he does whatever he does not just because he's on camera. Like how I think his little laugh at 4:03 wasn't planned.

I like Kikwang a lot :)).

If I say that, Yoseob should be worried, huh?

周杰倫 - 說了再見

THIS SONG. DO I EVEN NEED TO SAY ANYTHING.

I love this song, like really, really. You'd see me smiling very widely when I'm listening to/singing this song, 'cos I'd be trying not to cry. Because yeah, this song is a real tearjerker. For me, at least. I think 杰倫 is trying to kill me LOL. But it's very very nice!

Anyway, I was a little disappointed that the MV contains mostly scenes from the movie this song was the soundtrack for, but the movie looks very interesting. And Gui Lun Mei is in the movie, so I'm happy 'cos I'm still secretly wishing for her and Jay to end up together HAHAHA. (He's working on Secret 2; hopefully she will be in that movie as well! ^^) And in the few scenes with Jay in them, he's playing piano, which is when he looks best, so hey, I ain't complaining xD.

I hope Jay will sing this song in the upcoming concert. *crosses fingers*

Super Junior - 너 같은 사람 또 없어 (No Other)

A very cute song! This is the song they've been promoting from the repackage version of their latest album. And the MV is SO ADORABLE OMG. I was watching this just and and a smile just slooowly crept up my face and it's been stuck permanently on my face LOL creepy. Everyone looks wonderful! Siwon is SO HANDSOME, I don't even know what to say. 2:53 and 4:01 *___*. Someone tell me why I have more of Yesung's pictures in my computer than Siwon's; does that even make sense?! Well Yesung looks SUPER FLY here, especially in all black so HAHAHAHA xD. Ryeowook's hair flicks are distracting haha xP. I don't know what Eunhyuk was trying to do, filming himself dancing with his shirt unbuttoned. Is that his way of confessing? xPP Nevertheless, he's a great dancer, of course. Sungmin was being such a creeper, haha that was cute. I think I had forgotten how pretty Heechul is x). Eeteuk was so cute at 4:05! And the last scene with everyone with a big smile on their faces is SO PRECIOUS :)).

The performance is so adorable; all the smiles are lovely :D. I love the choreography~. I spotted Eunhae! And Yesung blowing a kiss sorta killed me, kthanks. I love the outfits; they should have stuck to these than those low-cut thingies they had for Bonamana, LOL. I love how they all seem to be genuinely having fun in the performances for this song :).

I think I'm gonna be watching this MV for at least another hour, LMAO. And thank god for HD!

SS501 - Let Me Be The One

This is not an actual MV; just a compilation of behind-the-scenes clips and footages from their concerts and performances. But it's OH-SO-PRECIOUS. It saddens me that the fate of SS501 as a group is still unknown now, but I believe SS501 won't break up. They said they are gonna stay together, and I believe them. TripleS, let's have faith :).

Hwanhee's version of this song, since he was the one who wrote the lyrics. He helped composing the song too, I think. Super Junior sang exactly the same way, lol. But anyway, his version is great too!

Song Ji Eun - 어젠 (Yesterday) (feat. Hwanhee) -- A good ballad. Both of their voices go together well. Ji Eun's voice is very nice!

Hwanhee & Suk Hee - 바보가슴 (A Foolish Heart) -- Another ballad, because Hwanhee is great at it xD. I think Hwanhee's voice goes well with anyone's haha ^^.

바람이 되어서라도 (Becoming the Wind)

Hwanhee's voice is lovely, sigh. I don't know how come he can sound so worked up while singing the song, and it fits the song perfectly.

SUPER JUNIOR

I'll admit that I haven't listened to Super Junior's latest album till today 'cos I didn't like the title track (Bonamana), but so far the album sounds decent. Somehow the dance tracks aren't working for me on the first listen, but hopefully they will grow on me soon enough. The ballads are lovely and the cuter songs sound nice. But as with every new album I listen, I'll have to listen to the songs on my iPod before I'll be able to differentiate them ^^;;.

여행 (A Short Journey)

This is such a bittersweet song. It was composed by Donghae and written by Eunhyuk, and is kinda like a farewell message to ELF, from Kangin. I thought I was dreaming when I heard Kangin's voice, but I wasn't! He sounds really good here :). He enlisted into army already, and I love how all the members sending him off. (The 10 active members, at least. SIGH.) Take care, Kangin! See you in 2 years' time ^^.
