Hwanhee & May Doni - 남남 (Strangers)

Hwanheeeee! I've missed his voice :)). I have no idea who May Doni is, but she's got a nice voice and sings very well too. Their voices complement each other's well!

Yesung & Luna - 너를 사랑하고 (And I Love You)

I totally squealed when I saw this duet; Yesung and Luna are both awesome singers :)). I don't think I need to say how much I love Yesung('s voice), but I actually really like Luna too; she's one of my favourites out of all the girl groups ^^. Her voice is lovely ♥♥♥. I especially love her parts in this song. And this is a great ballad! Even though coming from me, that's extremely not trustworthy, but it is really nice hehe :).

Time to buy another Mnet card XP.

Hwanhee - 내가 더 아플게 (I'll Hurt More for You)

Hwanhee + ballad = perfection. SIGH. He really should stop singing ballads 'cos I'm sure someone out there is crying buckets every time he does. LOL I don't mean that. Not really. I don't know what I'm saying so don't mind me hahaha. And Hwanhee is so good-looking XDD.

Hwanhee's version of this song, since he was the one who wrote the lyrics. He helped composing the song too, I think. Super Junior sang exactly the same way, lol. But anyway, his version is great too!

Song Ji Eun - 어젠 (Yesterday) (feat. Hwanhee) -- A good ballad. Both of their voices go together well. Ji Eun's voice is very nice!

Hwanhee & Suk Hee - 바보가슴 (A Foolish Heart) -- Another ballad, because Hwanhee is great at it xD. I think Hwanhee's voice goes well with anyone's haha ^^.

바람이 되어서라도 (Becoming the Wind)

Hwanhee's voice is lovely, sigh. I don't know how come he can sound so worked up while singing the song, and it fits the song perfectly.

SUPER JUNIOR

I'll admit that I haven't listened to Super Junior's latest album till today 'cos I didn't like the title track (Bonamana), but so far the album sounds decent. Somehow the dance tracks aren't working for me on the first listen, but hopefully they will grow on me soon enough. The ballads are lovely and the cuter songs sound nice. But as with every new album I listen, I'll have to listen to the songs on my iPod before I'll be able to differentiate them ^^;;.

여행 (A Short Journey)

This is such a bittersweet song. It was composed by Donghae and written by Eunhyuk, and is kinda like a farewell message to ELF, from Kangin. I thought I was dreaming when I heard Kangin's voice, but I wasn't! He sounds really good here :). He enlisted into army already, and I love how all the members sending him off. (The 10 active members, at least. SIGH.) Take care, Kangin! See you in 2 years' time ^^.

Fly to the Sky (feat. Gummy) - 사랑해요 우리(Shall We Love)

I've been listening to old songs today, when I decided that I was in the mood for FTTS' songs. This is one of the 123456 songs of theirs that I really love ♥. All of their voices are nice, and they are fantastic singers. I really like Gummy's voice; did I ever mention that?

Brian - In My Head

This has been long overdue, lol. This song is very catchy! It's a remake of an English song, but there isn't much difference with the original other than the voice singing ^^;;. The Korean lyrics are so much better though LOL. I love it when Brian speaks/sings/raps in English! About the MV, Brian looks damn fine :DD. I think he's had better hairstyles, but he pulls off that curly fringe well. And he should TOTALLY use white backgrounds more when filming his MVs, 'cos somehow that makes him look hot xDD. That girl in the MV is very pretty :). His live performances (1 2 3 4) are impressive; his vocals are very steady even while dancing.

091024 Hwanhee - Bring It Back + Because I Missed Your Heart @ M!CountDown

The Bring It Back performance was totally awesome :DD. It's nothing short of impressive how he managed to sound absolutely fine while pulling off the dance moves, some of which were required him to bend down and dance on the floor. The dance moves were really smooth too. And he looked mighty fine! xD

Because I Missed Your Heart was good too. It was cool how he threw and caught the mic. I wonder why he smiled at 2:14; did he almost danced wrongly or something? xP I think the choreography of the song is cool, but I'd have preferred it if he could sing more of the chorus, since now he only sings half of it ^^;;.

Hwanhee - Everyday

Song of the day! I love the chorus; by the end of the song I'm sure you'll be singing along to it x).

Now I have no idea which is my favourite song off the album; this song, Because I Missed Your Heart or Late Confession. All three are of different genres, and they are all very nice :D.

091024 Hwanhee - 심장을 놓쳐서 (Because I Missed Your Heart) @ Music Core

It's Hwanhee's debut performance as a solo artist too! :DD I love this song; the tune sticks easily in my head. Because you're in my heart~ Anyway, great performance! Hwanhee's is consistent in his vocals, as usual :). I almost laughed out loud at the adlibs part 'cos it reminded me of Brian imitating Hwanhee's exaggerated expressions when he sings, lol. He looks great too! Looks like he lost a lot of weight though; hope he's taking good care of himself :S.

I listened to Hwanhee's debut mini album, H Soul, and I must say that I'm not disappointed! It's got a good mix of upbeat dance songs, R&B songs and ballads. My favourite song is 늦은 고백 (Late Confession), which is a ballad. Hwanhee's voice is really, really nice and soothing here ♥.

I watched the Intimate Note episode featuring Fly to the Sky earlier today. I had lotsa laughter 'cos Brian was being his awesome self and Moon Hee Jun is the MC. Brian and Hwanhee have really good teamwork and they match well! I felt really sad, once again, that they aren't gonna be releasing albums together anymore :(. But during the show the duo clarified that they separated not because they are on bad terms with each other, so I'm gonna be keeping my fingers crossed for a reunion, or at least some kind of collaboration together, even when they are working separately as solo artists. Fly to the Sky hwaiting! ♥

090305 @ M!Countdown -- That spider web does match the title of the song well, but honestly it's a little distracting ^^;;. Hwanhee sounded really pitchy at some parts; I hope he's taking care of his throat =X.

090307 @ Music Core -- The spinning thing in the beginning was so unprofessional -.-. I think Brian handled it well, though =]. Love Hwanhee's vest! He cracked at one part, but did well towards the end. I think he felt bad about it, 'cos at the end he did the gesture thingy =X. Was he sick?

090308 @ Inkigayo -- Is it just me or do their clothes look plastic? LOL xPP. Hwanhee sang that super high note for the first time! Awesome :DD. But other than that it doesn't sound like his throat is completely fine either =[.

090312 @ M!Countdown -- I think Mnet takes the meaning of the song too literally; previously it was spider web now it's some metal fence thing, LOL. Hwanhee's throat sounds much better :)! I don't know why he made that thumbs-up sign to the audience at the end; it didn't suit the mood of the song ^^;;.

The waiting room cut was too cute lmao xDD. Hwanhee sounds totally fine here! And I think he's gonna be permanently doing the super high note thing; totally great :)). And in case you wonder why I don't talk about Brian at all, well, he has been doing really well with all his notes ^^.


090306 @ Lee Hana's Peppermint -- They performed so many songs here! How I wish I was there D:. But anyway, I love the responsive audience xD.

The stage looks a bit too small for them and the dancers ^^;;. I think the part after Brian's first chorus, where he and all the dancers slid away, and Hwanhee walked from the back, was really cool! They performed the full song, so we get to see Hwanhee kneeling down and the duo singing looking at each other xDD. Wonderful performance!

This Is How We Do It (Brian) + Even Though My Heart Breaks -- Brian's smexy English! I love how Hwanhee smirked after Brian sang, LOL. The host (Lee Hana) sang Even Though My Heart Breaks, Brian joined her and harmonised; they sounded great together! Then Hwanhee sang the chorus and Brian sang a bit too before stopping. I have discovered that Brian is a genius with harmonisation :DD. And by the way I read the comments that Hwayobi has a boyfriend! Too bad for Hwanyobi, I guess =[; no wonder they left WGM. But I'm happy for Yobi :).

Missing You + My Angel + Like A Man + Sea of Love


I love the live band! It's been ages since they performed these songs; how nostalgic :)). It was cool how they cut My Angel exactly just before the high part, and continued with the high part in Like A Man ^^. His voice cracked in the beginning of Sea of Love though xP. Watching this made me think about the 10 years they've been singing together, and at the same time really sad about how there's not gonna be an 11th T__________T.

Closer (by Ne-Yo) -- I had wished that this is actually Close To You from their album, but oh wells ^^;;. Hwanhee sang first, doing some really cool moves with the mic stand and hat, and got molested by the dancers xDD. I couldn't really make out his English, but still, it was a hot performance :D. Brian was next; he had male dancers instead xP. I think it's nice how the other member's voice can be heard singing at the back even when he's not the one performing on stage. After the second chorus Hwanhee appeared again and they sang together :).


090310 SBS Radio Love Game [Restriction | Talking While Being Drunk] -- Both were awesome! But that's nothing extraordinary, haha.

090226 Restriction + Talking While Being Drunk @ Kiss The Radio -- In the beginning Brian kept gesturing that no music was coming out of his earphone; it made me LOL 'cos one time he was doing it while his emotional expression was still on xDDD. He didn't make any mistakes or anything, though ^^. Both of them looked good. I didn't expect them to perform Talking While Being Drunk ('cos it's not from their new album), but I'm happy they did; the song always makes me smile :)). Both songs were awesome :D. Near the end Brian started talking in English, which was smexy xDD. (Eeteuk was wearing a mask, though, is he sick?)

I like how Brian was wearing black and Hwanhee white. Brian hit all those notes perfectly, and I love Hwanhee's "hmmmm~" at 1:29. Great performance!

090226 @ M!Countdown -- Why were there people running across the stage, LOLOL. Or is it part of the choreography that I didn't notice before? hahaha. Hwanhee sounded tired, somehow, even though he didn't crack. I like his outfit! Oh and in the end one of the dancers knelt on the floor (like Hwanhee did) haha.

090227 @ Music Bank -- Someone turned off Hwanhee mic at 2:27 for a good 3 seconds, during his high part, like wth -.-"". Other than that, everything else was good. I didn't say this before, but I love the dance choreography, especially the slow walking right and left part, at the "ddeo na beo ryeo, ga beo ryeo, je bal" part.

090228 @ Music Core -- The stage doesn't match the feeling of the song -.-. But anyway, somehow Hwanhee's hair looked especially nice in this ^^. I think all the performances have taken a toll on his throat, though; his high notes sounded kinda weird. Brian didn't sing one of his high parts, too. Hope they are okay =X.

090215 @ SBS Inkigayo -- Brian went a little off on one note, haha. Great performance, even though Brian's outfit still looked weird xP. They looked at each other again at that crazy part :).


090219 @ Mcountdown -- Love the introduction video, where images of them over the years were shown :). The dancing in the beginning was scrapped, instead the duo stood on a lifted, lighted box which somehow make them look more good-looking, if that makes sense o.O. Finally I see great outfits! Did they fire their old stylists? LOL xPP. And Hwanhee had his hair down; he looks much better like that ^^. Good performance as always, but the noisy fans irked me a little and the cameraman is kinda bad -.-.

Is Hwanhee's hair gonna be down permanently? I hope so, 'cos it looks awesome xD. Good outfits too =]. Hwanhee's "bogoshipo" part where he usually knelt down got cut -.-. But it's an awesome performance! At the end they used to face the back but now they turned around and faced the camera xDD.

Great, great performance of both songs. Love one part where they were singing looking at each other, haha. I haven't listened to the album yet, but Restriction is a good song. Love the sleek dance moves! The female dancer that danced with Brian in the beginning of the song is pretty xD. I like the read streaks in Brian's hair. And both of them are looking hot *__*, even though Brian's sleeves look too big and Hwanhee's one-black-and-one-white sleeves are kinda weird.

I don't get what's with the hideous combination of colours of Hwanhee's clothes. Brian's clothes are weird too. And it's distracting that Hwanhee kept touching his pants; was there something wrong with them? I think I really have an issue with their stylists -.-". But anyway. Good performance!

090213 Because I'm Stupid + L.E.O - Love Train (feat. Hyungjoon) @ Music Bank -- I love SS501's stylists, full stop. Anyway, Because I'm Stupid was good, as usual. I read about Hyungjoon being featured in L.E.O's song, Love Train, but I didn't actually get around to listening to it xP. It's a cute song, anyway, and I really like Hyungjoon's voice! He looked super adorable in the pink shirt and white suit. And so smiley xD. Some guy dressed in taekwondo costume and lion-head mask appeared too, and Hyungjoon looked like he was laughing at it at some point, lol xPP. In the waiting room the three were holding signs of "Park Jeong Mal, Kim Hyun Joong, saranghae" too, so cute xDD.

Hyesung's 3rd jib Side 2: Keep Leaves, is going to be released on the 17th. I seriously can't wait! The teasers (1 2) just made me anticipate it more, especially since the preview of the new song sounds good. He looks great in the preview of the MV too! Here's the album jacket photoshoot. His hair is wayy too long -.-"". I wished he had kept his previous shorter hair, or at least not keep such long hair =X. But I have to agree that he's really photogenic; those photos look gorgeous.



























I read that the pre-order for the album is #1; that's great news :).

Other than that, FTTS and F.T Island are releasing their album and mini album respectively on the 13th. It kinda sucks that they're releasing them on the same day, but I'm not complaining about the horde of good music coming my way xD.

WGM ep 41 - Hwanyobi cut (part 1 2)

1. HD, whoots xD.

2. They got the mission to sing a duet at a concert; so that's what it was! I watched the performance (fancam) before and it was beautiful :)).

3. The practice was SO CUTE! They started choosing songs, which frankly they would have all done well in 'cos their voices really complement each other's. Then they had to practice singing while looking at each other, but they just cracked up, so they wore cow and panda masks LMAO.

4. They were still cracking up during the rehearsals, haha. I think Hwanhee had a harder time trying not to laugh xP. Love how both of them looked; Hwayobi is pretty :). And love how they were wearing matching clothes on D-2 ^^.

5. Hwanhee had another mission: to surprise Yobi. Ahh, so that's why he visited her at her concert, even when they were both having concerts separately on the same day. This is the moment of revelation, LOL xP. (Hwanhee sent her a wreath to congratulate her also.) Suddenly Wedding March was playing and Yobi looked so lost, but Hwanhee appeared, still in his concert attire, saying "Gaettong ah~!". He totally succeded in his mission; Yobi almost cried xD. He rushed down after his own concert ^^. Loved how the fans were chanting, "Sing!", then Yobi explained that he had another concert the next day; so wifey-like xDDD. They also hugged, under the urging of the fans ^^. After he left Yobi still looked jittery and said, "What do I do, I can't sing" with a big smile hahaha; so adorable!

6. The next day it was Yobi's turn to send him a wreath, using the same phrase Hwanhee used, haha. She came before the concert too, and I SEE BRIAN :D! (Oops pardon my bias xP.) Anyway xP. Love how the couple was interacting ^^. Hwanhee made me LMAO-ed when he imitated Yobi; OMG HILARIOUS! I had to replay it a few times xP. They both looked gorgeous, by the way =D.

7. I love how during the interview both said that they would do well on stage; it shows how much they respect each other as artists :).

8. Like I said, the performance was great :)). Love the fans' cheers when Yobi appeared! And they didn't have any problem looking at each other while singing =].

9. Yobi had been asking Hwanhee how he was going to introduce her in the concert, and he finally introduced her as "my Gaettongie" xD. (I watched the longer version of the talk; it's in that post I linked above^.)

I think they were preparing their concerts, that's why they didn't have much time to film this xP.


EDIT: Hwanyobi and Marco/Dambi will be replaced by the the new couples, which include the couples with Junjin, Kim Shin Young and Taeyeon. Just great.

YSMM episode 214 with FTTS (part 1/7)

1. Kim Yoon Jin (an actress who acted in Lost) said HoDong is scary, lol! (We all know he just looks big, but really is a nice guy, though ^^.) She was born in '73, man she looks way younger than that o.0.

2. When introducing HyunYoung (that girl with a really high-pitched voice who appeared often in Heroine 6), HoDong was like, "At first I was thinking, 'How did she get the courage to sing?'" HAHA! I heard Brian's laughter, lol xP. She's funny on shows xD.

3. They got HyunYoung to sing a bit of her song, and Brian imitated her, almost killing me 'cos I was so out of breath from laughing, LOLOL. HoDong asked Hwanhee to do imitate her also, but he did an R&B version, as expected from the R&B prince ^^.

4. BRIAN! IS HILARIOUS. I can't say this enough, so I'll just say it once, here. He is so, so entertaining to watch. I love him ♥!

5. This was some time before their 7th album, so Hwanhee just had his plastic surgery. They talked about it in the show, and I like how frank he was. (I wish all celebrities can be as honest; it's not as if all the fans would leave them -.-".)

6. Love Brian's reactions! Hwanhee was starting to tell his story, how he "slightly cheated on his girlfriend", and Brian went "omo, omo, omo!" OMG that was so girly, somehow xDDD. And he went "eeeeeeew~!" when Hwanhee was talking how his ex-girlfriend kissed him after she vomitted after drinking, which was an appropriate response xP. And there are a lot of others too, which I shouldn't say, lest this become a Brian post xPPP.

7. Hwanhee talked about how Brian imitated him too much during the promotion period of Like A Man, that he seriously asked Brian to stop ('cos people were starting to laugh at him whenever he sang the song xP). But Brian said people like Kang Ho Dong would ask him to do it every time he's on those shows, so he still did it. And like I hoped, Kim Yoon Jin asked him to do it! Hwanhee sang first, sounding great as usual =]. Brian went to imitate, but failed 'cos he couldn't do it somehow xPP.

8. They were talking about money and the topic of splitting the earnings came; Brian said that in the end it didn't amount to much and that they didn't make a lot of money, and Hwanhee said that when he saw DBSK and Suju, he felt better. ROFL!

9. LOL at HoDong laughing when Brian said "personality?" when asked what he is most confident of! He laughed and said, "That's absurd!". I don't see anything wrong with his answer since I think he's got a good personality, but I want to know what HoDong meant xDD. (He changed it to "exercise", though ^^.)

10. Kang Soo Jung (the female MC) asked Brian and Kim Yoon Jin to badmouth someone in English and the rest to guess who they were talking about; they started talking about HoDong and suddenly Brian went, "...he's FAT!", at which point they stopped talking 'cos Yoon Jin said he was saying too much LOLOL. HoDong was oblivious towards it though, saying that the word "pig" didn't came out xPP. He didn't mean it in a bad way, though, 'cos after that he said, "Saranghaeyo" to him xP. And both of their English are flawless!

11. SooJung asked if there are any people badmouthing FTTS members behind their backs, and Hwanhee said, "Some people think that Brian likes guys, and what's worse is that they think he's dating me." HAHAHAHA! Then he talked about the kiss scenes they both have in Like A Man and how some netizen photoshopped it to look like they were kissing. I have seen that gif a lot, especially in livejournals for pairings, and the person is A TRUE PRO! It has been circulating in the net for a long time, actually, and a lot of fangirls (not only of them) have it in their computers. I don't, though xDD.

The whole show is interesting to watch, because of the insights given by the celebs. It's funny too ^^.

2. Hyunjoong talked about how he worked hard to earn money, even since he was really young. He co-owns a chicken restaurant now ^^.

4. He recalled how he left home when he was 15 and almost died three times; he really went through a lot.

FTTS' new song - 가버려 너 (Just Go, You)

Guh, it's so nice to hear them singing together again :'). I'm sounding as if they released their last album like 5 years ago, when they just released it in April last year, had one/two months of promotion period and a concert just last month, too, lol. But I just love hearing them singing together, WHAT xD.

Their new (8th) album is gonna be out on 13th Feb. I'm sooo excited :D!

I'm going to cry (not literally, haha xP) while deleting some songs from my iPod, when all those awesome albums (FTTS, Hyesung, FTI, etc) come out. But for now, let's just enjoy the ride :D.

Brian and Hwanhee celebrated their birthdays with their fans on that day; Brian was born on 10 Jan '81 and Hwanhee on 17 Jan '82, so the fans always celebrate their birthdays together. How coincidental right? They're exactly one year and one week apart :D.

081227 FTTS/KJK concert fancams ^^.

Talking segment -- Hwanhee and Brian talked about their upcoming 8th album (Uhm, wasn't Recollection their 8th album? Or was it not counted as one, since it's just re-singing of old songs?), which will be out by late January/early February. Can't wait ^^! Then Brian started talking about Hwanhee doing WGM with Hwayobi (Brian called her "handsome", haha!), and Hwanhee said that Brian once saved Hwayobi's life -- once she fainted while on a show and no one of the staff was helping her, so he carried her to the waiting room :)). Then he added, "I did that but she went and married Hwanhee!" LOL xD. Then they talked a bit more.. I miss Brian and his humour ;____;. Hope they'll start going to variety shows after the release of the album :D. Not really liking Hwanhee's hair, but he looks good :). Brian looks nice as well xDD.

Talk before singing Drunken Truth -- It's after Hwanhee's solo performance, I think. Hwanhee started talking about some people who confess their love and get rejected while being drunk, only to regret it later. Brian asked Hwanhee if it happened to him recently, to which he replied, "No, if I do Gaettongie will beat me to death" xDDD. Brian then said that he has given up on drinking, and is attending church. That's good to hear ^^. And I believe that, 'cos he's actually strong on his faith :). There are other funny things I didn't recap 'cos if I do it can fill one whole page, but BRIAN! I love love his humour ♥♥♥.

FTTS - Drunken Truth -- Hwanhee-focused, so I can't see Brian *pout*. Anywayy xP. They sound good :). And I love you, Hwanhee, but sorry I couldn't help but laugh a bit when your voice cracked that one time xP. Love the harmonisation in this song ^^.

Hwanhee - My Person -- Do you know how much I love this song? No, apparently you don't xP. Good performance, just a tiny problem with the falsettos and one slightly strained part (I'm picky, WHAT xD). But is Hwanhee's throat unwell or something? 'Cos he cracked again, and he usually rarely does =X. He did great, though, considering that it's a very hard song to sing :).

Hwanhee - Careless Whisper -- This song sounds familiar... But anyway, good performance!

FTTS - Even Though My Heart Hurts -- I love this song a lot :)). Both of them did great :D.

FTTS - Catch the End of This Night -- Hwanhee sang first, while dancing some pretty sleek moves. Love his outfit ^^. During some parts I can actually see Brian, when Hwanhee happened to be nearby, lol. Both of them nailed the high notes! Very nice performance :).
