DAUGHTRY autograph session.

Firstly, when I reached The Hereen at around 1.50 pm, no one was there. There wasn't even the slightest sign that there was gonna be an autograph session. I went into HMV, asked the staff, and found out that they were indeed coming at 4. When I went out, around 8 people were already queuing. So, I went to join the line. More people came, and at around 3, one staff suddenly came and asked whether we have the coupon. I was dumbstruck cos I didn't have one. The person beside me then explained that you have to buy from HMV to get the coupon to get an autograph. But after a while, the staff came back and told us that the ones who didn't have a coupon would have to form a separate line and wait until the ones who have a coupon have got their autographs. It didn't really matter, really, cos there weren't really a lot of people. There were also a group of people who didn't have a coupon.

The thing is, I didn't even know that actually I had to buy from HMV. There was no advertisement, no nothing. I bought the album a long long time ago, when 'Home' wasn't even airing in radio yet. Heck, I didn't know that they were gonna come here. Even though I admit that I don't know any of the members' name other than Chris, not buying from HMV doesn't make me less of a fan than those who bought the album recently or even some ten minutes before 4 just because they were gonna have an autograph session. *shrugs*

Like I said, there weren't a lot of people. There were only like 80 or 100 at most, comprising of Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians. There were even some really young Eurasian kids who came with their mothers. haha. Anyway I could tell that the band came at around 4.05 pm cos of the screams of the people inside. The whole thing ended in around 30 minutes. I feel kinda sad for them, cos they've got double the talent of, say, a certain boyband whose autograph session was packed with 6000 screaming girls. But well, I guess it's partly because of the lack of publicity. Anyway, when I finally went to the stage, somehow I didn't dare to say anything. It was a 'sign-and-go' session, so all I did was stare at them and dumbly say 'thank you' after they signed. And smiled when they looked up. Oh, I did say 'hi' to Chris, though. I can safely say that I did not stare at Chris only, I looked at whoever was in front of me. I didn't want the other members to feel not as liked, actually, cos I know that most of the band's fans are fans of Chris since AI. I am one, too, but then I'm a fan of the band also. =)

All of them look good. ahem Chris is really cute. =P

The first guy with the cool hair, the only one I could get a clear picture of.

The rest. You can't really see the last guy, but he's friendly. =)

They're very nice to the fans. I think two girls even got a hug from Chris. But the stupid me didn't even ask for a handshake. ><

..the signed CD I queued two and a half hours for.

Lastly..

..Chris' bald head! LOL. Did I say he looks good? xD

hmm. I think I'm gonna start paying more attention to the other members when I watch their performances. At least I know that their performance at the Powerhouse yesterday was damn packed with people. =)

pardon me...

.. as I spazz over Yunho in the October edition of S Magazine.

Seriously I feel stupid posting pictures of somebody shaving, but seriously, I like his face structure. So.. manly. xDD There are many more pictures, but I'll resist myself from posting too much. =P

plus...

Yea, yea, I know Jaejoong looks good. I mean, he's the best looking out of the five; sometimes he looks too pretty for a guy, yet he can be very manly as well. Anyway, I don't know why the magazine included this one whole section of Yunjae. Like there's this completely separate book consisting only pictures of Yunjae together, Yunho and Jaejoong alone. No other DBSK members. (maybe they'll do the special edition of the other members the following month or something) Plus the fact that it's in A3 size, much bigger than the whole magazine itself, even though the cover page isn't even DBSK, but Super Junior. Somehow I really suspect that there are some Yunjae/Yoosu fans in the editor team of S Magazine, cos last month's issue was also full of them. It's just that now it's made plain for everyone to see, we don't even need to spot the little hints anymore. I ain't complaining though. Seriously I feel like buying. S Mags are imported every month by Kinokuniya, sold at $40 I think. argh money money money.

By the way, DAUGHTRY came to Singapore. They performed today in St James Powerhouse, but since I'm not 18 yet, I couldn't go and watch them perform. But! They're holding an autograph session tomorrow at 4 pm at HMV, The Hereen. I'm gonna go. Like DUH. xD

I'm in a fangirl-ing mode. =P

yay! for now.

I just bought 不能說的秘密 DVD and Soundtrack yesterday. Spent 35 bucks just like that, but I didn't even hesitate for a second. It feels kinda good to spend money once in a while actually. =P

Did I mention that 東方神起 is having a comeback concert in Korea, and the website selling the tickets crashed just 2 seconds after the sale was opened? All 33,000 tickets were sold out after the website was restored. Kinda amazing, huh? Anyway, they're gonna release All About DBSK II. I'm tempted to buy, but it's gonna cost more than 150 bucks. Totally out of the question.

The cover looks good, eh? There are gonna be a lot of stuff included; like performances, all the Banjun Dramas, etc. I'm most looking forward to this one though:
Couple Talk

hahaha. Call me weird. Actually I know the pairings aren't real at all. Even though I may have seen a lot of pictures and clips that may suggest otherwise, I know deep down that none of them is real. All of them are very close, and everyone is paired up with each other. I like all pairings too. Seeing their close friendship just brings a smile to my face. Sometimes thinking about their 'moments' keeps me in a good mood, which comes in handy. I've never even liked a "normal" on-screen pairing this much before. ><

On the side note, tomorrow is the last day of prelims. I'm SO gonna play till I drop. At least, for tomorrow. And maybe a few days more. =P

laughing fit.

I just watched Xman DBSG Special again. Seriously, Xman is the funniest game show ever. I'm really grateful to Theo who introduced me to this show. Seriously, the thing about Xman is that even though you may have watched a particular episode a lot of times, when you watch it again it will still make you laugh. I know I still laughed my ass off. xD

Of course, there's the famous Yunjae part. It was the 'Monkey Bar' game, and the members of each team were supposed to sing a line for the member directly opposite him, and it can either be a good or bad point. Jaejoong was supposed to sing for Yunho. Just read the subs, it's self-explanatory.

Jaejoong: (sings the Chinese version of Hug) 只要让我做一天你温暖的睡床, oh baby~

(camera zooms in on Yunho)

Mc Yoo: Ohh.. Just for a day I want to be the bed in your room, is that it?
Lee Hyukjae: How did you know?
Park Myong Soo: That’s originally the Korean lyrics. (sings)

(They were laughing at Park Myung Soo's singing, Yunho was talking to someone opposite him.)

(The words above are said by MC Yoo. Just look at who Jaejoong is staring at.)

Mc Yoo: Yes, yes. (haha look at Junsu)

(After that, there was a recap of one of the scenes in the Banjun Drama, 'Dangerous Love'. I don't have the cap but here's a gif from the show.)

(after the recap..)

(still staring..)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL. That me laugh so hard. A lot of fans 'analysed' this part, and there were a lot of versions of what the two might be thinking at that time. I won't imagine anything, though. I'll just say that Jaejoong stares at Yunho a lot. That's just an observation. =P

If you want to watch the whole episode, here's the link:
part 2 (the caps above are from this part)
part 3

it's the look.

Caps from the Fighting Spirit of Dong Bang MV. It's a song about the Soccer World Cup, and the MV mostly shows soccer players. Don't ask me why every time the five of them are shown singing together, even when the rest are looking at the lyrics and singing, Jaejoong is always looking at Yunho.

How cute. lol.

Rising Sun showcase in 2005.

Jae had something to say. haha.

Somehow I laughed when I saw the last picture. xD

banana.

I've grown to love listening to the Muttons. In case you don't know, they're Justin Ang and Vernon, the Perfect 10 DJs whom you hear on 98.7fm every weekdays from 10 pm. They are very humorous and never fail to make me laugh. The "baby mutton" always cracks me up. I've learnt a new word from them: banana! It stands for every bad word that you can't say. LOL.

A SM insider talks about 동방신기:

Jung Yunho: A perfect socialite, he handles social scenes very well, not only it's due to extensive training from SM, but also has a lot to do with his personality and his family surrounding. SM was focusing on him since the begining of days because they knew he was something special. The whole "I only became leader after JaeJoong hyung said he didn't want to be one" talk is all garbage. JJ's personality isn't suitable for a leader, which will be explained later on in this.

Yunho's very well rounded, and he knows what to say and what to do at places, even when he absolutely has to critize someone, he does in a low-down way that is not dramatic. Once backstage, this big time celebrity was upset about something, so he was basically cussing everyone out, and no one had the guts to say anything because he was such a big shot. However, Yunho came into the room, greeted the big shot and started some casual chit chat, and they both ended up engaging in a light hearted conversation.

All five boys have great professional attitude, especially the leader Yunho. He's not the type that comes, does the gig and leaves, he will make sure all details with the crew, anything related to DBSK, he will and wants to know. He often cares for others, see how they're doing, perhaps that's why being the leader gets so exhausting sometimes. But he's really smart and very detail-oriented, not to mention he pays attention to others. When a crew member hurt his hands during a photoshoot, Yunho saw it and asked him if he was alright and if he needed help. Everyone truly likes Yunho. He knows the importance of his place yet he's very modest.

He's very caring toward the members, professionally, he does everything in his power to make sure others work smoothly, so that's a load off of the manager's shoulder. Once half way through a schedule, he asked a crew member to bring a pair of shoes, I first thought Yunho just want to wear another pair of shoes, but turns out the shoes were for Junsu, because Junsu had mentioned his shoes were too slippery and they had to dance later in the schedule. Yunho immediately thought of taking care of the problem for Junsu.

Yunho plays it tough in front of others, but there are times it's hard for him to hold back his emotions. Behind the glam, he's a very sensitive, passionate guy. Not after they debuted, once I saw Yunho cry, it was in a small room, his back was facing the door so I didn't see his face, but I saw his shoulders shiver, the members were around him. Changmin gave him tissues and Jaejoong was holding his hand and comforting him. The entertainment circle is a cruel place where people learn to toughen up, the tough will get tougher and the weak will only grow weaker.

Yunho's a nice guy, but he absolutely will not allow it when people attack Jaejoong, whether as a joke or not. Once someone was talking about JJ in a bad way, Yunho stared the person down for about 30 seconds. That sent shivers down my spine.

Fun fact: Yunho does most of the socializing in DBSK, so he often had to drink.. his limits is 4 bottles of soju~~
Yunho does not have a girlfriend at the moment, because the company simply does not allow it, there are quite a few girls in the field that like him, but that would kill DBSK's career and SM will never let Yunho gets away with it.
The five are extremely close, they're always playing together, once Yunho asked JJ to do something, JJ jokingly said " if you dare to go kiss _____, I will do it right away..". That person was a girl. Then there was a time where everyone thought Yunho liked her, Yunho laughed and said "what the heck are you smoking". Then he hugged JJ. The ending? All five hugging together on the floor.

Jaejoong: He likes to talk a lot, esp with people he knows well, no matter what he's taking about, he likes to describe it to the fullest, once telling a joke, he used 22 adjectives to describe a ballpen. So sometimes he drags his stories, often in the progress of describing things, he totally forgets what he was going to talk about.. yet he's still loves it! At times like this, Changmin would try to get to the point for JJ but JJ won't let him. Even on shows, unless it was scripted prior to the show, JJ will often gets lost in his own chatter and completely forgets the fact that he's even on a show. It makes the MCs so dizzy! But no one hates him for it, he has a good heart, friendly and easy to get along with, even to strangers. But he has his guard up when it's necessary and he knows how to protect himself. He'll chat your ears off, but never things he knows he shouldn't say. He has a habit of cooking, then eating while cooking, so by the time he's done, there's not much left. JJ's smile is elegant and soft, yet the minute he opens his mouth he's a complete jokster. I don't think he smokes too much or too often. I'm not sure about his alcohol tolerance, it seems that he likes to drink. Once he was drinking for 4 hrs and came out looking totally fine. Yunho on the other hand, gets really red after drinking, so does Yoochun.

JJ's really close to Yunho, often helps Yunho with any problems he has, sometimes Yunho feels bad lecturing the members, so JJ does it for him. JJ's the type that base everything on first impression, if he likes you first, then he'll like you forever, otherwise, he never will for as long as he live. Not like Yunho, who likes everyone.. that's why I said before JJ's personality isn't suitable for a leader.

Yoochun: He's a true gentleman, he always opens doors for female crew members, let the girls go first when riding the elevator. Through little gestures you can tell he's very much of a gentleman. Sometimes he acts goofy around team members, but I think that's because he lacks confidence. Sometimes, he has lots of stupid silly requests, to get attention from team members, he needs to know that others loves him to feel secure. Maybe it's because he barely has any family in Korea, so he feels a little lonely and insecure. He's the quitest one out of the five, sometimes he's deep into his thoughts for hours, and he tend to let his emotions effect his work, that's why the manager's particularlly worried about him in case they go solo one day.

Junsu: His personality is more edgy.. when he's cold he's very cold, when he's mad he's really mad, when he's playing around he hits you hard, even though he was serious, but it still hurts! But he never hits Yoochun because Yoochun's really sensitive, once back in training days, he hit Yoochun playingly, and Yoochun cried.. so never again after that. Junsu went through a lot of tough times during training days, despite the fact that he was one of the best trainees. Once his voice went away, a lot of people who were jealous were all stumping on him. That was his darkest time.

Junsu's very strong and independent even though he acts cute in front of the camera, but off the camera he's much more mature than he appears to be on camera. It's said that if SM has plan for them to go solo, Junsu would make the first solo debut. Junsu holds himself and others to very high standards when it comes to music, he doesn't allow himself to make any mistake.. a perfecionist. Eun Hyuk of SUJU is Junsu's best, he will kick others butt for Junsu. Once during trainee days, someone was making fun of Junsu, Eun Hyuk came in and slapped him.

Changmin: He's the youngest, but he doesn't let the members spoil him. He's more low key. Even a shy changmin still gets into fights.. you wouldn't think, right? He's a good person to admire, and because he's mature and he's deep, if he's not a singer, he is really capable of doing politics. He's young but he knows sometimes you just gotta hold your anger, fight for what you want. Sometimes he's too mature almost, he thinks a lot. Changmin's the one that the manager nags the least, whether it's school, work or personality he takes himself the best, he phones home the most, but keeps it short, even though he's the youngest but he really takes care of other members.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure you didn't read anything, but if you did, you'll know why I like Yunho. It seems that I have a tendency to like guys who emit this mature aura. That was what drew me to him in the first place. And not the looks. That was later. haha. And did I say that I really admire their friendship?

It was the time they won "The Best Music Video" for Rising Sun in 2005. Yoochun's eyes were like raining with tears, but Yunho said their thank-you speech, and after that he cried while going backstage with the members. That was the first time he cried in front of his fans. The only other time was when they won Daesang last year. He's never cried in public because of personal reasons.

This was during their Five in the Black concert this year. It was their 2nd concert in Japan, and they were singing [Proud], one their last songs. Yoochun and Junsu were crying non-stop, and apparently Yunho wanted to cry too, but that's ^ what he did. He held back. At the very end of the song, where each member sings "Proud of your love..", he couldn't finish his sentence. So lesson learnt: if you feel like crying, take a deep breath, calm down, and move on. =)
