Finally, a Big Bang song that I LOVE, after a long time ^^. My favourite line? The repeated, "I hate this love song" LOL. I like the whole song's lyrics actually. The MV is kinda irrelevant though haha.
I realised that when it comes to the members' solo works, I like Taeyang's far more than the rest, but in Big Bang, I like G-Dragon, G-Dragon, G-DRAGON. His swagger is just off the charts; he owns the stage and the camera. Still, it's outrageous how little Daesung gets to sing in each song. OUTRAGEOUS.
Means that the accompaniment track is removed, leaving only the singers' voice. These videos can show to a certain extent how well these singers sing live.
DBSK
Someone commented for one of the videos, "Doing MR for DBSK is pointless.. they're just flawless." WORD. I don't think any group can beat DBSK vocally; they're just totally awesome. Gosh I miss them together :(. Watching JYJ/Yunho/Changmin stuff makes me SO sad I don't even watch them at all. Come back, DBSK!
To be honest, I became a fan of Big Bang('s music) after they released Day by Day, but when I tried watching the live performances of that song, I got so disappointed that I stopped watching their performances completely. I guess I just love that song so much that I had sky-high expectations of their live performances. But now I revise my opinions of them, 'cos they don't sound bad. They sound good, actually. I don't know what performances I watched back then x__x.
SS501 sings well live, but I must say that they aren't as perfect as some fans (or even I) make them out to be. The individual solo parts always sound great, but in the more intense dance songs, they can hardly be heard in the chorus when the accompaniment track takes over, or only Hyungjoon can be heard.
Super Junior I think that Super Junior is like SS501; the members sound good individually during their solo parts, but in the chorus, I can only hear Ryeowook's super lonely voice lol ^^;;. Or K.R.Y's, in the more recent performances. I was pleasantly surprised by Heechul, though XD.
Beast is REALLY good live. Even during Bad Girl days. I'm not saying this because I'm a big fan, either; I guess I got into the fandom so fast 'cos I liked their music and their live performances. I knew they were that good all along 'cos I watch their (later) performances a lot, but these MR Removed videos just prove it. And it's only been 8 months since their debut! Beast is gonna be huge, I'm telling you.
I'm really looking forward to Taeyang's upcoming solo album! The previews sound great so far and Taeyang is growing to be one of my favourite solo singers that come from a boyband ^^.
Taeyang's latest solo release! I love the piano in this song ♥. And I like the MV a lot; the scenes are shot and cut in such a way that in the end you'd truly feel the pain -- his pain. The girl is very pretty :).
I never said this before, but I really, really like his solo works. They are awesome :D. The song he released before this, Where U At, is not bad too ^^.
Big Bang's latest Japanese release! Honestly I tend to like their Korean works much more than the Japanese ones, but this is a very nice song :)). Everyone sounds great. Taeyang's voice really shines here, I feel. Daesung always sounds awesome, 'nuff said. Seungri sounds good too, even though he didn't get that many parts. There was very little rap in the song, so GD and TOP had even less parts, haha ^^;;. TOP rapped in English, sounding pretty fluent too. (Can he speak English? :D)
The PV is pretty x). Is it just me or is Daesung not opening his eyes? I can't see them at all! I don't remember they were that small, LOL xP. TOP looks fly, as usual :D. And I've grown to like Taeyang a lot more :).
EDIT 30/10: After one day one night, the play count of this song has reached 100, and still counting. LOLOL.
Watched Gamer today! It's kinda gory and vulgar, but it's a good movie. I really like the storyline! And some scenes are really cool :D. Go watch it, people!

No, it's not a new song. I just really like it x). I don't fancy the MV that much, but the song is nice. The beat is sick! And I don't know, I think this song is really flirty xDD. If you see me walking around with my iPod and a smirk on my face, then your best bet would be that I'm listening to this song, LOL.
I think music really affects my mood. Last week I finally created playlists in my iPod, with names that would indicate the type of songs in that playlist. Nowadays every morning I listen to "diabetes ^^;;", which consists of really sweet-sounding songs that never fail to make me smile x).
I've been listening to some SS501's songs recently, the old songs they did for soundtracks, some new solo songs, etc. I really like their music :). They have been doing solo/sub-group stuff these few months, but they're now together, preparing for their new album, which will tentatively be out in July. Can't wait! After all, even though they're all good in their solo/sub-group activities, I love them as a group much more; their personalities shine when they're together =].
Have you heard Big Bang and 2NE1 (the female Big Bang) song, Lollipop? It didn't sound that nice at the first listen, but I don't know, it's really addictive ^^.
1. 2PM vs SHINee -- 2PM's was street-dancing to flo-rida's Low; they're very good dancers =]. (Yoona covered her face when Jay ripped his shirt -cute xP.) SHINee danced to H.O.T's We Are The Future. (Eunhyuk was dancing along with his \:D/ expression; so cute xD.) At first I was kinda surprised 'cos Taemin had his hair styled with that ancient long fringe thing, haha. He got a solo, which was good. And whatever happened to Jonghyun's hair xP? 2PM won ^^.
2. Seungri vs Taeyang
I guess Seungri is still promoting his Strong Baby, so he danced with a girl. That move where the girl pulled his jacket off was sexy and the one where he lifted her up and spinned her was nice, but yes, I still think that he shouldn't be going down this road. Call me old-fashioned, whatever. Taeyang's dance moves were slick! I like how the first part was serious/sexy while the second part (after "freeze" with that cute smile xD) was fun. The part where he slowly lifted up his shirt was quite sexy ^^. (Yoona's face :D! The cameraman loves her, I think, since he keeps shooting her reactions. But she's cute ^^.) The result was a draw, which makes me think that they didn't wanna choose, since it's between members of the same team, lol xP.
3. Taegoon vs Kara -- I kow that Taegoon is Jaejoong's childhood friend who just debuted recently and had Jaejoong featured in his MV which I haven't watched. But anyway xP. The dance moves were creative and he's good ^^. Kara looked like dolls with their pink wigs, haha. Love how Shindong was staring at them with his mouth open, HAHA! Okay I'll be honest and say that I only watched this hoping to catch a glimpse of SS501's reactions - and I got it! Hyungjoon was watching them with his big smile on, haha xDD. But at the end the 2PM boys were dancing and stuff but the SS501 trio were just sitting down and clapping, lol. Kara won, but I think Taegoon should have won instead ^^;;.
4. SNSD vs Jewelry & V.O.S -- Hyoyeon + Yoona + Yuri first, then a bit of Hyoyeon solo and then SNSD dancing to Britney Spears' Circus. Hyoyeon can really dance; I like how confident she seemed. They all did well. Their performance was sexy, I thought ^^. (I laughed a little though, when at the end of their performance the camera zoomed in to 2PM who was standing up and cheering, but Hyungjoon was beside them sitting down and looking blank xP.) One member from Jewelry had a solo first, then V.O.S' Kim Hyun Joon did a little of Taeyang's Only Look At Me (look at Taeyang laughing xD) and then he and Jewelry's Park Jung Ah danced together. (Jonghyun was moving his head along with the beat; cute xDD.) JungAh is really pretty! SNSD did great, in my opinion, but Jewelry & V.O.S won ^^.
5. SS501 vs Super Junior
The trio had solo stages first. Kyujong went first (his heartbeat thing at the beginning made me laugh a little, don't ask me why =P), looking good in his suit, then passed his silver handkerchief to Hyungjoon, who slid it across his face, kissed it and threw it to the audience. Damn that was sexy xDDD. Love the move he did at 0:57. Youngsaeng was next; he looked like he was concentrating hard (nervous much xP?) but he did well. The trio danced together at the end. They did great; love all the transitions :). Sungmin, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Leeteuk were next. (I'm not liking Sungmin's ponytail much xP. I don't actually mind Shindong's explosive hair, haha xD.) Love their choreography; very creative. That slow-mo summersault of Sungmin (with Shindong's help) was cool! Eunhyuk got two little solos - he's good, need I say it xD? Very fun performance! I think Suju's performance was better, but SS501 won, and I'm not complaining ^^.

A few months back, V.I.P started using the colour orange for their fanclub, to which Dongwan wrote a few entries on his blog, indirectly saying (without naming the fanclub) that the colour orange is something that's very important to Shinhwa and all ShinhwaChangjo-ers. I was never that protective to go berserk/anti on Big Bang, but I did wonder why V.I.P had to choose orange out of so many shades of colours in the spectrum. Shinhwa doesn't own the colour; it doesn't belong to them. But if I were in a fanclub, I'd want to have a unique colour that only represents my idol's fanclub, you know? Unless they think that Shinhwa isn't gonna come back as a group, which will make me really disappointed -- what lack of respect.
I didn't hear of this matter again until he wrote another entry on the 20th, saying that he won't force the other fanclub to change their opinions and will just let the matter rest, because no matter what people who know Shinhwa will still know the significance of the colour. Apparently V.I.P made an apology regarding this and the matter is resolved, thankfully :).
Other than V.I.P, TripleS and g.o.d's fanclub wished Andy happy birthday too! I love it when fanclubs are friendly with each other ^^.
Junjin is appearing in the WGM special new year episode, and there may be a possibility that the couple may stay on the show longer than that one episode.

This is totally random: Dongwan watches Boys Over Flowers too, haha! I love LOVE Dongwan's blog entries; at least it keeps me from missing him x). He takes GORGEOUS pictures too! (Not of his own face, of the scenery!) I will post some of them one day. He makes me interested in photography xD.
Infinity Challenge MCs - Haru Haru parody + performance
THE HILARITY OMGOMG xDD! THEY CALL THEMSELVES "BIG BAG", LMAO. Kudos to them for really recording the song. Junjin doesn't have any big roles or solo parts, which I think is appropriate, so he wouldn't attract all the attention ^^. He dances to the choreography so well, and seemed to be having a lot of fun :). The others did great too, unexpectedly xD. This makes me want to watch Infinity Challenge xP.
081231 MBC Gayo Daejun performances SS501 - U R Man + Deja Vu -- The trio performed U R Man first; they did great! (When do they not xP?) I've never said this before but I think SS501 has the best stylists; they almost never look wrong. The boys are looking drool-worthy in black :DD. At the end of the performance the dancers went off stage, the thing at the sides of the stage lifted, TripleS screamed, and Hyunjoong and Jungmin (and later the dancers) joined them on stage! They performed Deja Vu, singing over a backing track. (The solos were LIVE, but I didn't hear anyone really singing for most of the chorus, except for a few lines.) I don't really care if they aren't singing completely LIVE since this is the real SS501 reunion, not just Hyunjoong and Jungmin being dancers xD. Hyungjoon flashed his abs at 5:08; that exhibitionist, haha. TripleS was singing along with them :). Loved the green lightings! It was a hot performance =].
Wonder Girls + Big Bang Special Stage -- My knowledge of Wonder Girls only covers their names, ages and a couple of their hit songs (Nobody is catchy like hell!), but this performance is very good :). Every Big Bang member was wearing something pink; the top, jacket, etc; some of it was hilarious lmao. SunYe sounds nice! I've heard Yoobin rapping in one of Minwoo's songs and I really love it; her rapping is way cool ^^. Daesung and YeEun did Haru Haru; Daesung nailed his falsetto (:D!) and YeEun has a nice voice, both of them sounded really great during the chorus :)). SunMi was sitting on T.O.P's lap with almost the whole of her thigh exposed at the beginning of their performance; hey she's only sixteen DD:. I think T.O.P must be feeling awkward, 'cos he was looking away the whole time and only looked at her after she stood up, LOL xP. It ended with Big Bang performing So Hot and Wonder Girls and then together with Big Bang performing Last Farewell.
Epik High - One + Fly -- They're looking spiffy in black suits :D.Tablo switched his microphone with Mithra's in the beginning for whatever reason, haha. He kept asking the fans to scream, who gladly obliged, but I laughed a little haha. Loved the fans singing along to One! At the end of One Tukutz walked to the DJ-ing thing (I don't know what it's called xPP) and I LOL-ed when he bumped into one of the dancers, hahaha xD. How long has it been since they performed Fly? Ages, I think ^^. Great performance by the boys, as always :).
Seungri's solo - Strong Baby MV -- I'm okay with the song; it's one of the typical Big Bang songs. Nothing is special with his vocals in the song; he has always sounded like that, which is quite a good thing. I was kinda surprised by the performance at SBS Gayo Daejun - since he was dancing those kind of moves with some girls - but it was still a good performance. Now I'm honestly disturbed by the MV. He was totally making out with the girl, which looks hot if I'm not reminded time and again that he's only 18. This solo is supposed to signal that the baby of the group has grown up, but I prefer to think that I already know that, even without him trying to tell us that by going all sleazy with some girl. I think it's just me being old-fashioned, haha.

*_______*. I love the sound of a piano even though I admittedly don't practice nearly as much as should and I like guys who can play piano. This is nothing like the piano battle in Secret, but still awesome! Taeyang started first, singing Don't Wanna Try. His English is relatively decent and his singing is good :). I almost laughed when his voice cracked, though; sorry Taeyang xP. The piano parts are sweet :D. (I LOL-ed, though, when the camera went to Junsu in the beginning and you can hear the a horde of fangirls cheering, that he almost smiled at 0:39 xP. But seriously, the fangirls always cheered every time the camera was on him, even when Taeyang was performing =X. Cassiopeia, why do you have to disappoint me?) Then Junsu went next, singing My Everything. Junsu's English is.. well, Engrish xPP. This song focuses more on his vocals than the piano, I think. Or maybe I was just too distracted by his WONDERFUL singing, lol. But you can hear the piano in the background too ^^. Taeyang was clapping and grinning like a fanboy at 5:13 haha; so cute xD.
The first time I heard this song was actually when Hongki and Jonghun performed a short part of it on Star Golden Bell (they were so cute xD), but that's not the point. Daesung joined some other people halfway through the song, I think, and look at GD laughing at his seat, LMAO. His voice is really suitable for trot ^^. Seungri was doing the hand motions, too :D.
They all have some black eye thing going on; I personally think that some guys look hot with eyeliner (Hongki and T.O.P, to name a few) but this is kinda over-the-top for me, making them look like rocker wannabes =X. The instruments are all PLUGGED and the four are totally rocking it, man :)). Jonghun's guitar solo part is totally awesome! But HONGKI! The moment he started to sing I knew that he was sick. He messed up the timing in the later half, sounded so hoarse and even stopped singing for some time during Heaven. It was like he was forcing himself to sing, and he looked stressed because he messed up =((. Watching the performance was painful 'cos I couldn't stand seeing him like that and I could feel my heart in pain. But I still watched it, twice, because at the same time I admire his professionalism. Get well soon, Hongki ♥!
The people are: Taemin (SHINee), Seungri (Big Bang), Eunhyuk (Super Junior), Jaebum (2PM), Yunho (DBSK). All of them are obviously good dancers to be included in this segment, so I won't say much xD. Eunhyuk was wearing a silver outfit+mask while dancing a robot dance; it was great :). Love Yunho's outfit, dance, attitude (yeahh!) and that smirk at 3:18 :DD. His hat fell off in the beginning, but I don't know whether it was intended 'cos he didn't flinch or anything xD.
They did well, as always. (What else can I say? xD) The entrances are quite hot ^^. They showed off their bare backs at the end, which is so LMAO haha!
Brown Eyed Girls + Epik High + Eun Ji Won - Where Is The Love (Korean ver.)
My favourite performance of the night! I didn't know there's a Korean version of this song LOL xD. I would have loved seeing Tablo rapping in English, but ohwells this is good too xP. I've seen Eun Ji Won at some variety shows (he was from Sechs Kies), and I adore him; he's such a humorous guy! I didn't know he raps, though :). I loved one part where Tablo and him were rapping to each other and Tablo went, "jongmal?" and Ji Won nodded xP. One of the Brown Eyed Girls sang while the other rapped; they're good. And Epik High? They're always awesome; no arguments there ♥. Loved Tablo's little introduction in the beginning. They're looking great =].
Okay apparently I'm slow 'cos the news was released 3 days ago, but I don't care I have to post this here. (And break my hiatus, lol.)
Jay's new album, titled 魔杰座 (Capricon), will be out on 9th October, pre-order starts on 24th September. (I may have to call Sembawang to confirm the dates, 'cos I don't want to go there and get told that the pre-order date has been delayed, like.. 2 years ago?) The pre-order gift is a Jay rubrics cube; I have to get it xD! Jay does keep his promise of one album per year, which is to be expected but I didn't think it'd be this soon, with his world tour and all. The title is a word play on 魔羯座; change the 羯 to 杰, which is Jay's name. Brilliant title, don't you think? And he's a Capricon too! ^^
The title song is titled 稻香. I don't usually listen to song previews (I still remember how I freaked out when I heard 彩虹 on 933 last year; I didn't even know that it was Jay's new song but I immediately recognised his voice and just went ballistic 'cos it's so nice lol) but I couldn't resist and listened to it; and I really love it. The lyrics are written by Jay too, and they're really nice!
I really like the "追不到的夢想 換個夢不就得了" part. Jay's lyrics-writing skill is getting better! Shit I think I'm on a high now. Like, I keep replaying the preview and have to restraint myself from splitting into a wide wide grin. The reason why I don't usually listen to previews it that I don't want to have too high expectations of the album (because if one keeps comparing Jay's songs to his own older songs, I think he'll be pressurised), so now I have to suppress my expectations and stop listening to the preview. But still, I'm very excited for the new album. 杰倫加油! ^^
I read the news about Jay having a hard time due to the paparazzi and all the people mobbing him in public; he can't even go shopping or karaoke-ing 'cos a lot of people would be asking for his autographs and taking pictures and stuff, I think it's the price of fame, really. But still, poor him =X.

I don't know whether I'll be getting DBSK's 'cos well, one less album sold wouldn't make any difference to their album sales (the pre-order alone reached 200,000 on the first day, predicted to reach 500,000). They have been working really hard for the album, which I'm sure will not disappoint. (Their title track is good! The MV teasers killed a lot of fangirls, ROFL. I didn't get killed 'cos I really prefer to see them more covered up, haha!) But honestly, I feel kinda sad for other groups/artists. Shinhwa's album sales, for instance, got #1 in the first half of the year for reaching 100,000 (after a few days of release). They did it without any promotion at all, but then again, it's the album of their 10th anniversary, so I assume more people already bought the album. DBSK's album hasn't even been released and the pre-order has already broken records. I'm worried that Minwoo will be overshadowed, really, even though I know the Shinhwa Changjo-ers (♥♥♥) will be there.
The same goes to Big Bang; the sales for their Stand Up mini album was #1 with 150,000+, while #2, SS501's Find mini album, got only around 20,000+ (if I remember correctly). And Big Bang got what, 3 (or was it 5?) consecutive Mutizen wins while Hyesung.. I don't even wanna talk about it. I'm not bashing 'cos I love 하루 하루 a lot and I'm happy for them, but I just feel sad for the other artists who don't get as much recognition even though their releases are as good.
And that is also part of the reason why I may be getting SS501 album. Their 1st album was the best debut album by any Korean group, imo, and I love their Korean releases. Besides, they are still underrated. There are talks about the clash between DBSK, Big Bang and SS501, but in all honesty, it's obvious who'll win. Which is fine, really, 'cos I like all of them. xPP

The single from Big Bang's new 3rd mini album, and my new favourite song of theirs. *___* I've been listening to it non-stop since the day I heard it; it's in top 10 most played songs in my iPod, lol. It's just so catchy (as usual), but there's this sad feeling to the song. Yes yes fine I'm a sadist who loves sad songs. My favourite part is Daesung's "nunmureun~" falsetto 3:17 into the song (according to the MV above); it's only 1 second long but gosh it's just so nice, I don't even know, gosh. I really love his voice, by the way, and I think he sounds especially good in this song. I like all his parts. xP I like T.O.P's part in the middle of the song too, he sings that part more roughly or something. And Taeyang's "baby" 3:36 into the song. And the way Seungri sings his first part. Oh and and GD's English phrases, so saddd. D: Ohwells, I just love the whole song. xDD
About the MV; it's about a girl who ditches her boyfriend (GD) for his friend (T.O.P) 'cos she has cancer and is dying, even though she loves him. Hey, maybe that's the whole point; she loves him so she doesn't want him to be sad because of her illness. It sounds kinda screwed up, but that's what I'll do if I were her, I think. haha. Anyway. I don't like GD's hair, but he totally redeemed himself with his acting; his sadness is expressed very clearly at the end. T.O.P is the best-looking member, imo; he looks good as always. xD The other members look good too, but they don't get as much screen time, haha.
I still can't really differentiate Seungri and Taeyang's voices. (Well, technically GD's too, but I'll assume that he's the voice rapping other than T.O.P.) It's kinda weird talking about people I don't know anything about. I'm sounding superficial, lol. Hmm. I don't care. xP I'm gonna add a "Big Bang" tag, 'cos I think I may be talking more about them in the future. =D
