Code Blue Season 2

This drama is BAD FOR MY HEART. I even stopped watching in the middle and put off continuing it for like 2 months lol. Seriously, I can't watch this drama without doing something else at the same time, be it surfing internet/eating/whatever. Otherwise I'd be crying my eyes out every 5 minutes. Okay that was an exaggeration, but still. One episode is 45 minutes long, but for it it takes more than one hour to finish it, because I have to keep pausing. Is the scriptwriter's aim to squeeze the viewers' tears dry or what?!

Nevertheless, Code Blue is always good hehe :).

I love Aizawa. He's very perceptive. His actions speak way louder than his words, but when he does speak, his words cut like a knife. And I love how he refers to all his patients by their names. Anyway, Yamapi looks different here; his face looks more.. sculpted, somehow. Does every guy's face gets more sculpted as he gets older? (Like Won Bin's lol.) Or maybe he just lost some weight. And did I mention that he has pretty hands? XD

Aragaki Yui is so pretty :)). She doesn't look glamorous or anything; she puts on simple make-up and her clothes are plain, but she still looks pretty. How do I put this, she looks flawless.

I like Fujikawa! He's the only one who's always smiling in this drama LOL.

Code Blue

(Dramawiki)

Like any other medical dramas, Code Blue is very human. I almost cried a lot of times while watching every episode and a few scenes really did make me cry, because even though they didn't seem like a big deal, the humanity of the scenes touched me. It's a very good drama. Prepare tissues, though xP. Watch the SP too! And there's gonna be a second season next year; I can't wait :D.

I think humans are very strong. Everyone has a past, but they live on, carrying their own burden. And everyone is flawed.

Medical dramas always make me think a lot. When one sees his loved one suffering, he may say/think that he'd want to trade places with that person. But if that really could happen, when he's the one who is suffering, he might regret it. And when one sees her loved one caught between life and death, anything else doesn't seem to matter; the only thing that matters is that that person survives. But when he really makes it, the post-surgery conditions, like paralysis, might eventually tire her out. She might then wish that he had been dead instead. These sound cruel, but am I wrong? Of course, I'd like to think that because of love, one would still be relieved that his loved one doesn't have to suffer like he is suffering, or he would be thankful that that person survives, even while he is shouting in pain, or while he's complaining that he's tired. But is it too idealistic of me to think that way?

Aizawa seems like a really cold, hardened person. Like Kuroda-sensei said, he's "cool-headed, skillful, doesn't get too emotionally involved with the patient. He might just be a born surgeon. Including his arrogance." Yes, he is a very good doctor; there's a stark difference in the level of competency and confidence between his and his fellow trainees'. But it's kinda scary how emotionless he seems most of the time :/. He gets better with each episode though. And I think he's a bit obsessed with himself; he keeps looking at his fingers LOL. Yamapi is a very good actor :)). And he's so good-looking xDD.

Shiraishi is a textbook doctor; she knows the theories inside out. She's very kind, but she gets too emotional sometimes. Aragaki Yui is very pretty!

Aizawa and Shiraishi make up the OTP in this show. Even though there aren't any sparks of romance between the two, they always end up working together, so we know that they are supposed to end up together. (I learnt that lesson from Atashinchi no Danshi LOL.) Well, there's also the Aizawa/Saejima pair, but I think that two people who are so similar to each other shouldn't be together ^^;;.

Hiyama is quite a bitch, but she's actually not a bad person. And I like her; she's openly a bitch when she feels like it, but is unexpectedly nice in her own way when others are feeling down.

Fujikawa is over-confident and is kinda incompetent, but he's a very nice person. He's always cheerful and is quite adorable :3. I like how he always wishes others well, even when he's feeling sucky himself. He's the type whom people would find annoying when he's around, but would be missed when he's gone. I like him!

The senior doctors are all really tough. They're all so sugoi, ne. Kuroda-sensei is the no-nonsense, fair person. And he's such an awesome doctor; I admire him a lot *__*. Mitsui-sensei is straightforward but thoughtful. Morimoto-sensei is funny, but poor him; no one listens to him lol xD. The other characters are very likeable too, like the director of the hospital and the helicopter pilot x).

I think I cry more and more easily as I get older :S. And you know, I really do want to be a doctor.

Yamapi's "Loveless" performances

2 3 4

I really REALLY love this song ♥♥♥. I like the dance choreography too; the movements aren't big but they are slick and match well with the lyrics. Yamapi performs very well LIVE; whether it's in terms of vocals or dancing. For the performances that are not on Music Station, I think he sings over a backing track, so we hear two layers of voices, but mostly we hear the one that is exactly the same as the recorded version. But as evident in the performances on Music Station, where he sounds good but not 100% exactly like the recorded version, he's very good LIVE too :).

Dragon Zakura

(Dramawiki)

This drama is similar to GTO and Gokusen (even though I didn't watch the latter); it's about someone (in this case, a lawyer) with a bunch of juvenile students -- in this case, trying to get 5 of them into Todai. There are quite a number of dramas with the same theme, huh. It feels kinda nostalgic; the mugging and exams xP.

Sakuragi is realistic, straightforward and knowledgeable. But how does he know so much, I wonder ^^;;. I'd have preferred to know more about his background, how he formed his principles and how he came to believe the things he said.

I like Yuusuke; he's very cool, albeit gangster-ish. He barks loudly, but doesn't bite. Yamapi has the same hairstyle he had for Stand Up!!, if I remember correctly. (I haven't watched that either.) Needless to say, I watched this drama because of him, haha xP. He also sang the insert song, Colourful; he sounds good :). I decidedly like his voice. (For anyone who hasn't listened to Loveless, go listen! I so love that song ^^.)

Hideki is hilarious, and reminds me a lot of Nakatsu from Hana Kimi ^^. He always has painted nails and pink/purple highlights; lol what a punk. Koike Teppei, the actor acting as him, is very cute! His eyes are totally round lol. And his speaking voice is seriously super cute :DD. I always smile when he speaks x).

I like how Yuusuke calls Naomi "Boo", LOL. Naomi reminds me of Horikita Maki somehow. Yoshino is very pretty. There wasn't any conclusion to the love triangle, which is kinda unfortunate. Ichirou is adorable! The director is hilarious lol. The special class teachers are so unique lol. The other Ryuuzan teachers are annoying -.-.

Oh and apparently Yamapi and Aragaki Yui (the actress that acted as Yoshino) worked together again in Code Blue. I'm going to watch that also one day :D.

Yamashita Tomohisa - Loveless

I love this song! The piano is SO PRETTY GUHH *_____*. Here's the instrumentals! The lyrics are really sad, but they're really sincere. I love them, a lot. I usually dislike Japanese guys' voices, but somehow I don't mind Yamapi's voice and singing, like I said before about Daite Senorita. At first I thought that at some parts he should have sung with more power, but now I think the way he sings fits the meaning of the song. The PV is beautifully shot. Of course, Yamapi is gorgeous as usual, but beside that the lighting, colours, scenery and everything else are really pretty. And he's a good actor :).

This is the very first Japanese song I'm posting here, that is not sung by a Korean singer, LOL. Aren't you honoured, Yamapi? x) (But I actually forgot I have a tag for him, haha ^^;;.) I bet this single is gonna get #1 on the Oricon Chart :D.

laa.

I finally watched Crows Zero and Kurosagi the Movie. Both movies are decent, but I'm too lazy to do a review. xP Guys would watch Crows Zero for the fighting scenes whereas girls would watch it for eye-candies. There are quite a few good-looking guys there, actually. xD The ending is pretty much expected, but the cast did well on the acting. As for Kurosagi, I think all the girls watched it for Yamapi. Well, I can't blame them. haha. I was hoping for the relationship between Kurosaki and Yoshikawa to progress, but it didn't. Ohwell, I guess the whole focus of the show is Kurosaki alone. They sorta left the ending hanging, so the viewers would have to guess themselves. But it was made clear that Kurosagi would be a black swindler all his life. Quite a sad life, I'd say.

Shun can pull off any hairstyle, for real. xD

mixed birthday post!

If you're wondering why I haven't been posting that much lately, that's because school's killing me I have another blog now. It's PURELY meant for spazzing, which would be very apparent if you were to read the posts. I transferred some of the posts here to the new blog, but other than that sometimes I may choose to post there instead of here (depends on my mood). It's here, if you would like to see it. xP

Anyway, I decided to revive this blog a little. But I don't have anything I'd like to post, so I thought I should do a combined April belated-birthdays post for the artists I like but don't know much of. So I can only provide you with a few pictures each, 'cos I haven't watched much of their stuff yet.

First is Eunhyuk! He turned 22 on the 4th. To be honest I don't find him that good-looking (he kinda looks like Tablo and Jang Woo Hyuk, don't you think?), but now he's one of my favourite five Suju members (others: Donghae, Siwon, Kangin and Hankyung; in no particular order). He's a downright HUMOROUS guy (as I spazzed about here), has such good temper and personality (the members pranked him a lot of times 'cos he's just so nice), is a good rapper and dancer, plus he's Junsu's best friend. ^^

Next up, Siwon! He turned 22 on the 6th (the birth date on his official profile is fake). Initially he was one of the members I could recognise (along with Kibum 'cos I used to think that the two of them were the best looking ones), but I didn't like him yet because, well, I don't just go for looks. Obviously he looks great; his dimples and smile can make you die and his LOL-worthy facial expressions are the win. But! he turned out to be this nice, GENTLEMANLY guy whom I can't find any flaw in. Seriously, he's like, almost perfect (the catch being almost: screen persona may not be real). There was a poll done by ahjummas to vote for which male celebrity they would most want to see marry their daughters and become their son in law. And Siwon was the top. It's not surprising, really, 'cos even I would want a son-in-law like him. xD

Last but not least, Yamapi! He turned 23 on the 9th (yesterday). Okay, admittedly I don't know anything about his personality. But I do know that he's got the potential to become a great actor, sings quite well and that he's hot. I'll watch his dramas one day, after I'm done with Takuya Kimura's and Oguri Shun's, maybe? xP

I posted 4 pictures for every one. I'm fair, right? xD Anyway, I realised that I forgot to make birthday posts for Eric and Andy. I didn't include them here, 'cos every Shinhwa member deserves one post on their own. Next year, maybe? =X

Kurosagi.

^the poster looks kinda scary, eh?

I just finished watching Kurosagi; a Japanese drama with Yamashita Tomohisa (aka Yamapi) and Horikita Maki. It was Yamapi's drama after Nobuta wo Produce, and surprisingly, with the same female lead. The story is about swindlers, how Kurosaki swindles a different swindler in every episode. The "cases" are interesting and the way he swindles is kinda cool. There's a complicated story behind many people and they seemed to be living in the past, one way or another. At the top of the chain is Katsuragi, an old man who sold all the swindlers information. A lot of things are interrelated and it's actually quite exciting to see how the story unfolds. The romance - I wanted Akira and Nobuta together in Nobuta wo Produce, and obviously I wanted them to be together in this drama too. They weren't, even in the last episode, but I think Kurosaki sorta liked her already. The story wasn't finished yet, but the movie just came out, I think. I'll wait for the subs to come out. =)

Yamapi acted as Kurosaki, a swindler who swindlers money out of swindlers and returns the money to the victims. His real name is Kurosaki, hence he called himself Kurosagi. The reason why he does that is because of a tragic past -- his father fell victim to a swindler and in despair killed his whole family, Kurosaki being the only survivor. In short, it's for revenge. He supposedly had given up happiness and lived his life just for that sole purpose. I know that he was living a miserable life, but no matter how hard I tried to figure out what he was feeling, what pain he had to go through, somehow I couldn't. I can describe the feeling with words, but I don't feel it. No, I can't even say that I know how he felt. It just doesn't register. I'm emotionally under-developed, after all.

Maki acted as Tsurara Yoshikawa, a girl who is studying to be a prosecutor. She's a really kind and nice girl. Somehow she crossed path with Kurosagi and ended up living in the same apartment as him. As you'd expect, she didn't approve of his occupation. But along the way, she found out about his past, grew to like him, understood his feelings. It was kinda hard on her, since she found herself falling for someone whose values she disagreed completely with despite knowing the reason behind them. She wanted him to stop his swindling since it was a crime, yet at the same time she didn't want him to be arrested, 'cos she loved him. But I like the fact that even till the end, she didn't change her beliefs because of him. Anyway, did I mention before that Maki is very pretty? Well, she is. And she's cute, too. But personally I think she looked better in Hana Kimi, with shorter hair.

About Yamapi, he must have been using moisturizing lens or something, since his eyes looked teary half the time, even when he wasn't crying. I wonder how one drop tear could drop out of nowhere when his facial expression remained almost blank, too. Eye drops? Acting skill? I think his acting is not bad, honestly. And even though Kurosagi is a "cold" person, some of his actions remind me of Akira, especially when he's under disguise. It's the same person, after all. haha. For his job, he had lots of forms of disguise. That brings me back to the acting skill point; he had to act out a lot of different characters in this drama. I think a lot thought must have been put in, since each character's mannerism varies. The costumes - some of them looked weird, but strangely he looked okay/good in almost all of them. He looked best in his "normal" get-up, though. Like duh. lol. The theme song of this drama is also sung by him, and I must say that his voice is okay. Usually Japanese male singers' voice have this similar sound that I don't like (even though they may be good singers), but he doesn't have it. Not as much, at least. I noticed it when I first heard the theme song of Nobuta wo Produce, actually. That's a good thing. haha.

That aside, I really can't stand Tsurara's "friend", Yukari. The inverted commas mean that I don't think that she can be called a friend at all; claiming that she loved Kurosaki when she barely knew him and falling out with Tsurara just because of that. What a delusional, immature, selfish person. Like, freak off, bitch. Also, that Kashina policeman's laugh is so annoying. -.-"

kon!

I haven't been doing spazzy posts recently. Not a good sign. So I'm doing this random post out of randomness. lol.

The last drama I watched was Nobuta wo Produce. I'm too lazy to do a long post about it, so look up the story yourself. The main actors are Kame from KAT-TUN and Yamapi from NEWS (short forms), as well as Maki who acted in Hana Kimi. It's pretty enjoyable to watch even though the ending is a bit EHH. The main focus is on friendship, so if you're looking for a lovey-dovey romance story, watch something else.

I really like Akira (Yamapi) here; he's drunk on milk (like o.0) and incoherent 99% of the time (what with the kon!, akira shock! and other random nonsense he says), but he's funny and nice and adorable. Shuji's (Kame) character is like an egg, hard on the outside but actually soft inside. It's very.. real. So real that it reminds me of a certain someone, actually.

^the trio.

Shuji and Akira.. (they can look kinda suspicious haha!)

Some gifs of the weird Akira..

^"kon kon!" (it means nothing, really lol)

^"Nobuta power.. enter!"

^"KO.KO.RO" It's blurry, but it's the coolest moment of Akira throughout the show. Not really, but he did this same thing in another setting earlier in this same episode (ep 4), and that one was WAY COOL, contextually. Go watch!

Both of the guys' acting are good, but I'm more interested in Yamapi now. Not his looks, 'cos I think he looks a bit awkward somehow, like he looks older than his age =X (but he was seriously CUTE when he was young). I'm just wondering how someone who looks that cool (he seems colder than Jaejoong, imo) could pull off a crazy role like Akira. I may watch his dramas some other time. But I'm not gonna go into another fandom. haha.

On the side note, Kangta's new mini album is sooo good. HIS VOICE *.* I really should start working on a music post for him. But before that I NEED MORE OF HIS SONGS. I only have like, pathetic less than 10 songs of his other than the ones from the new album. All the links online are on Megaupload. T.T

EDIT: I just watched the second Detective Conan Special, which by the way, has Oguri Shun acting as Sinichi Kudo. Sometimes I wonder why he gets these cool-guys parts. Maybe 'cos he gives off the feeling that he's cool? (the real him is so NOT cool, though, in a good way!) Anyway, did I tell you that I'm a big fan of Detective Conan manga (even though it's getting too long without any definite development in the main storyline) and that I really like Sinichi? I made lots of caps when I watched the first one (Shun looked awesome there xP), but I didn't for this one. Nothing to do with the Hana Kimi hairstyle, though, since I've concluded that Shun can pull off ANY hairstyle. The ones I've seen so far, at least. xDD That reminds me that I still have lots of his dramas to watch. arghh.
