I finally watched Crows Zero and Kurosagi the Movie. Both movies are decent, but I'm too lazy to do a review. xP Guys would watch Crows Zero for the fighting scenes whereas girls would watch it for eye-candies. There are quite a few good-looking guys there, actually. xD The ending is pretty much expected, but the cast did well on the acting. As for Kurosagi, I think all the girls watched it for Yamapi. Well, I can't blame them. haha. I was hoping for the relationship between Kurosaki and Yoshikawa to progress, but it didn't. Ohwell, I guess the whole focus of the show is Kurosaki alone. They sorta left the ending hanging, so the viewers would have to guess themselves. But it was made clear that Kurosagi would be a black swindler all his life. Quite a sad life, I'd say.

^fancam of Hyungjoon when SS501 won SBS Inkigayo Mutizen Song on 20/04 with Deja Vu. (here) Jungmin was about to cry, but Hyungjoon totally broke down and cried. He initially went to Hyunjoong, who kinda ignored him, so he went to hug Youngsaeng. Then he went around crying and hugging the members, lol. I love how Kyujong hugged him tightly near the end of the clip. (Kyujong is such a prince ^^) Baby cried like a baby! (pun fully intended; Hyungjoon is the maknae of the group so his nickname is Baby xD)














































In case you didn't know, Hyungjoon is actually my favourite SS501 member. =) It's hard to decide since I like all 5 of them, but uhm. I don't know why but I think I like him a teeny bit more than the rest. xP

We Got Married..

...is a very scary program. That's what Solbi said in episode 15, and I agree, really. From the beginning it was quite obvious that Solbi likes Andy, and while Andy likes her too, she likes him more than he likes her. Now she's actually really falling for him. Andy did say that Solbi is "very charming" and he's liking her more, but will he feel the same way about her? I don't think he does, now, at least. But after Solbi's confession, I think he'll feel sorry for her, hence feel more pressurised and also feel like he is obliged to return her feelings. I'll be really happy for both of them if it can work out. But coming from someone like me, I'd say that the best way for Solbi, for her not to get hurt, is to control her feelings. It's just a TV program.

Initially when I started watching the show I did think about how the celebs are supposed to draw the line between the show and reality; after all it's just a TV program and in real life the couples aren't married. But I guess I had too much fun watching the show that I didn't think of it anymore. It's interesting to watch, but if I was a celeb I really wouldn't want to go on the program. The show is supposed to show how their relationship would progress if they were married, but once the recording is over, everyone say "bye" to each other and lead their own lives? If one doesn't think about his/her partner after the recording, would their 'relationship' progress at all? Unless he can act, I don't think so. So supposed to show progress = have to take the relationship seriously = put in real feelings? Then if one really falls in love with her partner, what is she supposed to do? Wait and hope for the guy to fall for her, and if he doesn't, get rejected in front of the whole country?

They should have either get some cold-blooded people who can draw a clear line, or some people who can act very well. I don't even feel like watching it anymore, it's getting painful to watch. Solbi is in deep shit and I suspect Alex is too, while Hwangbo seems like she has one foot in the shit. Gosh what a screwed up program. Is it fun to play around with people's feelings?

I think DBSK's upcoming single, どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？, is really REALLY good. (such long title lol) Here's the drama version of the MV. (I like to say MV better than PV xP) I didn't watch it, only listened to the song. There's gonna be another MV with the boys in it. (preview) I hope they'll top the charts again with this. DBSK hwaiting!

EDIT: I LOVE THIS SONG. LIKE, OMG. All of them sound good but Jaejoong pawns here, I think.

I just realised that Yesung sang 내 눈물 모아 (My Tears Together), one of the songs in FTTS' Recollection album. I even listened to it before, lol. His version is very similar to the original (the singer, Seo Ji Won, killed himself when he was 19; I don't know why so many celebrities killed themselves but R.I.P, man) and he sang it very well, but I prefer FTTS' version, 'cos I think they changed it the song here and there and I think it sounds better. And FTTS is just awesome like that. ♥ But I still love you, Yesung! I have 6 favourite Suju members now, lol. (I think it'll increase even more if I watch more Suju stuff o.0.)

The feeling I had when taking the papers is the same as the one I had when I took my A-Maths midyear in Sec4, which I almost failed. I'm really failing this time. The "O" level results must have made me forget my own limitations. *knock head*

This episode has Suju's Leeteuk and Shindong, SS501, and SNSD (lol the group names all start with S xP.) The magic involving Hyunjoong and Tiffany is cool; they look kinda cute together and have similar-looking smiles, for real. It's just amusing how most of the comments are like, "they are really cute together" and "they should go out!" or "I wish I was Tiffany" and suddenly there's this "Who's this SS501 *****? Tiffany is mine! blahblahblah". ROFL fantard.

Anyway. The little girl is cute. She ignored poor Hyungjoon who was acting cute to her (well, he is cute xP), and refused to sew Leeteuk's smelly sock. xD The boy who piano-synch (pretended to play the piano) got me fooled. Hyunjoong played guitar, Shindong and Leeteuk got their hair pulled by KHD (lmao reactions!). One fan got to pinch Hyunjoong (he really can't feel the pinch, kinda freaky); she cried on the spot and looked like she was about to faint when she was picked (haha), so Hyunjoong hugged her (twice!) and KHD started teasing her while Hyunjoong LOL-ed hardcore at the side xD, then Boom re-enact the scene and rofl hilarious! The wushu performance is quite cool; that cool boy is a fan of Tiffany (he's kinda cute too.) But the younger boy (who is soo cute) said KHD is prettier xDDD so KDH pretended to kiss him LMAOO, he must be traumatized. (Jungmin looked disgusted rofl, he has quite a lot of priceless expressions throughout the show.) The body builders... what muscles. o.0 Leeteuk's joke is lameee! Hyungjoon and Yoona did a couple exercise, but he couldn't beat her strength lol. (he's so cute xP) Kyujong was being randomly cute too. The sound effects guy is good! And ROFLMAO at Hyunjoong for asking how the bed scenes sound effect are made (look at Hyungjoon's expression loll.) Shindong and Leeteuk "kissing" (Shinteuk!), KHD "having diarrhoea" LOLL. And that guy with the strong fist is scary.

A very enjoyable episode. =)

I'm buying The Greatest Artist SHINHWA in 1998-2007 DVD.










It's gonna cost me around $60. There's still the concert DVDs and other stuff to buy, and I'm sure I'm gonna be really broke by the time I buy all these stuff of Shinhwa that keep coming out recently. But I'm willing to spend on these, 'cos.. it's Shinhwa? And they won't be coming together in 5 years (yaya I know I keep harping on it).

And.. it's their song, 다시 한 번만 (Just One More Time), that I've been listening to on repeat every night before I sleep or when I feel depressed. It's also the first song I listen to when I'm in a really good mood or when I switch on my iPod in the morning. The play count of this song alone is almost three times the play count of the 2nd most played song in my iPod. I can't say how much I love this song, yet no matter how much I say I love it, I can't say it enough. So I uploaded this song, 'cos then I won't have to say anything else.

Shinhwa - 다시 한 번만 (Just One More Time)

And.. I lost count how many times I've watched the YSMM with Shinhwa, but every time I watch it, I'll laugh non-stop even when I know what they were going to say next. And when I'm not laughing, my facial expression will be a permanent ^____________^. I've been clearing my iPod for space and I deleted almost every video (I have too many songs =X), but I know that I can never delete that.





































...'cos no one makes me as happy as they do. =)

We Got Married Hyunjoong/Hwangbo ep 14

part 1 2

This episode is just so freakin' funny, like OMG. I mean, Hyunjoong is always funny, but the previous few episodes weren't as funny. In the beginning, Alex and ShinAe came back to the studio (YAYYY), and the MC asked Hyunjoong who is prettier, ShinAe or Hwangbo. Hyunjoong answered that the two styles are too different; Hwangbo is South-East-Asian (lol) while ShinAe is European. But then he said that he preferred "Asian style." =)

In this episode, basically they were supposed to go on a vacation, and so they went to the man-made beach. First they did a bit of warm-up exercises, and Hyunjoong "helped" her at one point (dunno how to explain), and the audience was going wild 'cos of the skinship lol. In the previous episode, Hyunjoong said that he can dive very well, so Hwangbo threw her sunglasses for him to dive and get it. He wanted to get it, but the man-made wave came and hence he couldn't.

Then it showed Hyunjoong's interview, where he said some funny things about training his "inner strength" so that next time he'd be able to get it. The point is: when asked if he'd get it if anyone throws it, he said that it has to be "Hwangbuin" (buin=wife; he's been calling her that throughout the show xD) who throws it, if not he'd be like a puppy. Then he continued, "I WANT TO BECOME HWANGBUIN'S PUPPY!" with that biggg smile of his. OMG IT WAS SO SWEET, CAN? xDD

Next it showed the couple back at the beach, playing with the wave. Apparently Hwangbo was tired and couldn't move or something so Hyunjoong dragged her around, lol. Then they came out and Hwangbo was all tired, so she said that she's old, and asked whether Hyunjoong isn't tired, but he said, "Because I'm still young!" loll. Hyunjoong kept asking Hwangbo to rest 'cos "she didn't look too good" and teased her about her age haha. They rested on the long bench and Hwangbo asked him for any "special service" since she was tired, and he wanted to give her a foot massage! But obviously she jumped by a mile and refused. ('cos he's an idol and fear of the fans? -.-)

It showed Hwangbo's interview next, and she commented on how the warm-up exercise that was supposed to make her relax made her more nervous, and the caption said "foot massage -> leg cramp" LOL. Back at the beach, Hwangbo said she wanted water, so Hyunjoong went, but he ended up walking to the beach and scooped a handful of water hahahaha. Then they played the "catching game" again, but this time Hwangbo was supposed to catch Hyunjoong, and they also bet on ice cream. Hyunjoong said he'd run slowly but he still ran very fast, so she couldn't catch him and so she lost the bet. (She looked a bit pissed to.) But they ended up buying a can of beer to share, haha.

They sat down under the shade and drank, but they got silent so it was awkward. When Hwangbo said this to Hyunjoong, he told her to think of something else, pointed at a horse statue fountain and said, "That one there, is Jungmin spitting saliva." lol! Then they talked about Chakra (Hwangbo used to be in that girlband), and Hyunjoong said he thought Hwangbo was an Indian hahaha. He even invented an Indian name for her, "Al-ma-ja-ha-de" ROFL. They talked some more about Chakra; everything was funny haha.

Then the went back to the beach and met the CrownJ/InYoung couple (another couple on the show which I apparently have to watch too 'cos I watched Come To Play - WGM Special and they seemed so comfortable with each other), and ended up playing with the waves together. That ended this episode! ^^

I listened to SS501's Japanese songs, and except for their first single, Kokoro, and maybe two other ballads in their Japanese album, the rest of the songs are... uhm.. not exactly my favourite. lol. I wished the company had hired more people to compose better songs. They re-sung Four Chance, Again and Coward in Japanese, and while I love these songs, the original Korean versions are of course much better. It's kinda evident that the boys weren't very confident of their Japanese, which is understandable, really. Kokoro is really catchy, though. Their latest single, Lucky Days, is nice and I think they sound more comfortable in Japanese here. (The MV is so cute; Hyunjoong is being his dork self, Kyujong as the prince is so fitting, Youngsaeng looks good with his haircut, Jungmin looks pretty in a good way, and Hyungjoon is as usual so adorable xPP) I'm glad that they're doing well in Japan, but I can't wait for them to come back to Korea end of July (I think). I LOVE their Korean releases; they should totally release more Korean albums. But.. now that I think about it, DBSK is gonna release an album too, which I am ecstatic about, but I love both groups and erm.. honestly, SS501 may be overshadowed? BUT BUT I DON'T CARE I WANT SHINHWA TO SWEEP THE DAESANGS THIS YEAR. It's a great album and their last in what, 5 years? T.T DBSK or Suju or SS501 or whatever still have a long time together and they can wait!

..but I know I'll still be happy for any band who wins the award in the end. =P


EDIT: I happened to find clips of the bands winning the Best New Group award. It's kinda ironic that DBSK won the award in 2004, then presented the award to SS501 in 2005 (Hyunjoong was trying sooo hard not to cry, AWWW), and SS501 in turn presented the award to Suju in 2006 (1 2). haha. Just being random.

[news] SS501 Kim Hyun Joong selected to play Rui

SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong was casted as the F4 member Hanazawa Rui in the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango, which is scheduled to be broadcast via KBS 2TV in the first half of 2009. The Korean name for Rui has not been set yet.

This will be the third time the Japanese manga will be turned into a drama series. The first one was a Taiwanese version, which was aired in 2001, and the other was a Japanese one, which was broadcast in 2005.

According to an official from Group Eight, the production house in-charge of the drama, Kim Hyun Joong was selected to play Rui because he was deemed suited for the character. The decision was based from his performance in the MBC program “We’re Married,” where Kim Hyun Joong is being coupled with singer Hwangbo.

Meanwhile, at the moment, the 3 actors who will play the other members of F4 are yet to be finalized.

In the first place, a Korean version of HYD is quite LOL-worthy, considering how there are already the Taiwanese and Japanese versions. But Hyunjoong as Rui! ROFL. I LOVE RUI; I became a fan of Vic Zhou (only for that short period of time xP) after the Taiwanese version and Oguri Shun after the Japanese one. Hyunjoong as Rui.. Well, he definitely has the looks for it, but in reality Hyunjoong is sooo crazy lol. I'm interested in how he's gonna pull it off. I think his appearance in We Got Married got him a lot more exposure and also new fans (for SS501 too). Hyunjoong hwaiting! =)

Oh ya, I forgot to say this, but SS501's new (and 3rd) Japanese single, Lucky Days, debuted at 2nd in Oricon Chart. (Their 2nd single got 5th.) It's quite surprising ('cos it took what, almost 10 singles for DBSK to achieve that?), but congrats to them! ^^ (I'll listen to their Japanese songs.. soon. =X)

Since I was on the topic of Hyungjoon, I uploaded SS501 - Fighter. It's a dance song, the tune is catchy and the MV is quite hot. I like Jungmin's hair like that and Youngsaeng looks good with the hair extensions. And and I think Hyungjoon's voice really suit this song; my favourite part in the whole song is actually his "Come on I don't wanna fight" part in the beginning of the chorus. =)

Just for your information, until now the posts in this blog have all been aligned to look best in Internet Explorer, hence the alignments may look very off if you use Mozilla Firefox. But I thought that since I'm using Firefox now (I've been using it for quite a long time actually), I'd change all the alignments to fit Firefox. I had something to do online just now, so I'm here. Anyway, after two days of listening to SS501 songs, I finally managed to differentiate all their voices. *clapclap* Apparently they are all so apparently different, that I feel quite stupid to mix Hyunjoong's and Kyujong's up.

And! I decided to upload one song every time I blog. Today is Alex' song, 화분, that he sang for ShinAe in the 8th episode of We Got Married when they were about to part (here). (that was so touching and sad T.T) The lyrics are like, totally directed to ShinAe. His voice is nicee and he sings so well and he's so nice towards her and blahblah I can go on all day. He came back already, by the way, but I haven't got around to watching it yet. But Alex/ShinAe rules! So anyway.

I blame PEIRONG for posting the HYD clip. After watching that interview (in which Mao was super shy xD), I clicked on the related videos and stumbled upon a few short clips of Shun. I'm reminded of my love for Hanazawa Rui and of course Shunn! (lol I sound so mushy) Seriously his Rui look kills, man. But Shun himself is totally different from Rui; he's much more dorky and not at all quiet, as you can see here. And he's so so so cute too, just watch! (1 2 3 4)

Which reminds me.. I haven't watched Crows Zero yet! I so badly wanted to watch it since Shun acted as an angry gangsta here and he won Best Actor for it. (and I read some interview that he really felt very angry throughout the entire filming process) hmm. I'm gonna download now and watch after midyears. xD And I haven't even finished watching Stand Up!!. And and he's got a new drama too! shuckss.

More SS501 videos! (Don't tell me you didn't see this coming. xP)

Thanks for Waking Me Up (1 2 3 4 5 6 7) -- Basically Park Kyung Lim went to the boys' apartment once a week trying to wake them up in the morning. They look so normal without their make-up, ruffled hair and in their pajamas. Kyujong is always the first to wake up (he's such a good boy! ^^), Hyungjoon's voice is hoarse in the morning (he's so cute in this xD), Youngsaeng being so image-conscious (he checks his hair first thing lol), Jungmin being so violent at anybody who tried to wake him up but became tame once you put a carrot in his mouth LOL (he kicked, pulled and bit them haha), and Hyunjoong who is just such a deep sleeper, it's almost impossible to wake him up (he slept through ice being put into his clothes, dogs walking all over him, make-up put on his face, etc). They then went to PKL's house in the last episode to take revenge, lol. The whole thing is adorable, really. =)

KM Idol World (1st parts of ep 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) -- This is just so SO hilarious. It was filmed when the boys just went to Japan, and they had to do some missions. Jungmin's and Kyujong's Japanese are quite good. I don't wanna write an essay, so just some highlights: Hyungjoon and Jungmin (they called themselves Minjun lol) bickering throughout the 7 episodes (they're sooo dramatic; doing impromptu acting, "breaking up", wrestling on the bed, etc etc), Hyungjoon's birthday prank (he cried aww), Hyungjoon being all scared for the cemetery segment (while Hyunjoong got through it like it was nothing, lol), them being blown by the strong wind (Jungmin's umbrella lmao) and the mini drama they did (kinda creepy but good!). After watching this, I'm convinced that Jungmin and Hyunjoong are crazy. Jungmin is crazy in the loud and obvious type (he is on crack 100% of the time, seriously, they should give him some acting roles!), while Hyunjoong is the random and once-in-a-while-you-can-tell-that-he's-actually-insane type. The whole group is crazy, actually. xD

in PKL Wonderful Outing (1 2 3 4 5 6) -- First they talked for a bit (one of the MCs asked if Hyungjoon put flour on his face rofl, his skin is just very fair xP); Hyunjoong was supposed to answer some questions but he went totally off-topic and explained that he just woke up. lol cute leader! For the next segment, "Silhouette Chatting", the MCs 'kidnapped' Jungmin in advance (and interrogated him), and the members had to find him amongst the 4 people behind the screen. First the members talked about Jungmin (mostly bad stuff haha) while Jungmin sat behind the screen looking framed. Then they were asked some questions, like about whether they fought before, watching porn (lol Hyungjoon totally dug his own grave xD), ideal girls (they talked about SNSD; Youngsaeng's so shyyy, he likes Taeyeon! Hyunjoong's "Getting older now, liking younger friends" was so funny haha). Next they competed to grab a bath stool (too lazy to explain =X), and Kyujong seemed like he was getting injured a lot, but he won in the end. Then suddenly Jungmin cried 'cos he said that Kyujong really wanted that stool, but you can see the other members looking like they thought he was acting. haha. LOL at Hyunjoong's "When I'm awake, the recording is over." And Hyungjoon laughed so much in this show; he's cute! xD

Hyunderella -- The title should tell you that this is so RIDICULOUSLY FUNNY. I don't even know what to say since everything is so hilarious. They went to a holiday with a kid, and in the beginning there's a lot of goofing around karaoke-ing. Then they acted out Hyunderella, where Hyunjoong became Cinderella, Jungmin the step-sister, Youngsaeng the step-mother, Hyungjoon the prince, and Kyujong the magician. Have you seen Cinderella, the step-sister and step-mother dancing to Beyonce's Crazy in Love, and the prince dancing to JT's Sexyback before? Not to mention the ending, where Hyunderella ended up with the magician and the prince with the step-sister. It's such a CRACK, really. LOL.

Hyunjoong and Jungmin flicking each other on camera -- Like I said, Hyunjoong and Jungmin are crazy. Youngsaeng was being interviewed and the two were supposed to film him (I think) but they were actually flicking each other and stuff. It may not sound funny, but it is. lol. And Kyujong at the back dying of laughter; he's so cute! xP


I listened to their Korean songs and I plan to listen to their Japanese works too, but much much later when I have the time D:, and honestly, they're not bad at all! Their debut album is really good. Their dance songs are catchy (like seriously catchy, I'm still trying to get Deja Vu out of my head), the happy songs are cute and they make me happy, while their ballads are pretty too (shut up, I'm just a sucker for ballads xP). Youngsaeng's voice is just SO NICE, guh. (He's the quietest, but it's okay; he can just reserve his voice for singing. xD) I think it's pretty obvious that he's the best singer in the group, such control! 8D I can almost differentiate Kyujong and Hyunjoong's voices, but the rest are distinguishable. I uploaded A Song Calling For You (not the best song to showcase their vocals, but it's the first song of theirs I heard), so give it a listen! Like I said, it's addictive and its beat is infectious. LALALALALA~ =D

The Person I Love.

I just finished watching Dongwan's drama, The Person I Love. It's about Seok Joo (Dongwan) who ditched his girlfriend, Seo Young (Eun Jung), even though she already had his baby, Ji Eun (POOR BABY; such a cute kid too), to marry Jung Min, his boss' daughter.











The first three episodes are full of sugar; Seok Joo and Seo Young were just so so sweet, I totally melted. (I really won't mind Dongwan and Eun Jung dating in real life; they are so cute together xD) Which made me sad just thinking about how he would leave her later.












Dongwan totally succeeded in making me hate Seok Joo; I lost count how many times I've cursed at the screen because of him. At first I liked him a lot, but as I watched more episodes, my dislike for him shot up. He was actually not that bad a person; he was friendlier, polite, hardworking, and cared a lot for his family. Then starting from episode 4, the way he treated Seo Young changed 180 degrees, he became cold. I can tell that he really really loved Seo Young even until the end, so WHY the heck did he betray her? I mean, he had been poor all his life and I understand that he wanted to get rich, lead a better life and get recognition for all his efforts, but was his feelings that cheap? He's so blinded, it's scary. Truthfully my conscience didn't allow me to pity him, even though I know he was suffering like hellll himself when he left Seo Young. After all, he had to betray himself to betray Seo Young. But it's your own choice, so you shouldn't complain, arse. Such a WEAK, SHAMELESS, INSANE guy. I should stop now, since I'll curse him more if I continue. Here's a really good character analysis of Seok Joo (2nd post from the top).



























I think Dongwan's face must be tired and have more wrinkles on his forehead after this drama; he frowned so much! I didn't mix him up for Seok Joo even for one second after he changed, seriously, 'cos even if the face is the same, Dongwan is always smileyyy and funny and friendly while Seok Joo is sdkfjlhsjkghARGH. I had to stop myself a few of times from feeling sorry for him, really, for which Dongwan's great acting is to blame. (I almost cried with him T.T) Which is why I need to applaud him here. *clapclap* Honestly Dongwan looks good in this drama, BUT I loathe Seok Joo so much, a lot of times I can't stand looking at his face.












Seo Young is a very pretty and sweet girl; I really like her. She's a courteous wife and devoted mother, and she put up with the shitty attitude Seok Joo was treating her with. I thought Eun Jung acted very very well; she can really cry in seconds (it's scary) and I felt almost depressed when she still maintained that graceful and dignified appearance, but a drop of tear just fell. But it was even sadder when she broke down completely. She looked like she was about to suffocate and die, and somehow I felt suffocated too. T.T I was so scared that she would go insane. It was so scary when she just fell on the floor with a wooden expression and her eyes full open. At first I thought that she would use Sang Min to take revenge on Seok Joo, but she didn't. She isn't such a person.












^the fox, Jung Min. Nah, I'm just kidding. She's as pretty as a doll, for real. She was irritating during the first few episodes, but she isn't a bad person, really; she's just self-centered, impulsive and fell for the wrong person. I wonder what she saw in him. Seriously, what's so good about a guy who is in a bad mood like, 24/7 and doesn't even try to hide the fact that he doesn't love you? She knew she couldn't be happy with him, but she wanted him. She knew she couldn't have his love, but still, she wanted him. What do you want, then, misery? Sheesh. Even though I don't hate her, I don't like her either. She's stupid, obsessed, CRAZY. And I pity her, for not being able to get herself out of the shit.












^Sang Min, Jung Min's half brother. (It's ironic how his parents' story was exactly like Seok Joo and Seo Young.) He fell for Seo Young at first sight. (Yeah yeah I know it sounds cliche, but he treats Seo Young really well.) At first I was kinda skeptical, but it turned out he's not only capable (and good-looking), but also polite, considerate and kind. (Like how he kept his apartment door open when he invited Seo Young for tea in his apartment.) You'll like him for sure in episode 10, where he looked at Ji Eun so lovingly^, even though minutes before he didn't even know that Seo Young had a kid. (I totally melted *.*) In episode 15, I was surprised when he said, "Let's exchange" when Seok Joo told him that he didn't have the world Sang Min had, that's why he abandoned his girlfriend and daughter. He told his father that he was willing to give up all his inheritance to marry Seo Young. AND HE REALLY DID. It was too bad that Seo Young didn't love him, no matter how grateful she was to him. He also had a sad sad past, but that didn't break his character. He's just so sincere and his love is unconditional. When standing next to Seok Joo, the contrast in character is so stark that you can imagine a ray of light falling on Sang Min while Seok Joo stands in the dark. He's just a PERFECT guy, period. ILU, SANGMIN. =)



















^Hyun Joo (one of Seok Joo's younger sisters) and Chang Hoon. They are so so sweet; my favourite couple in the whole show. ^^ Chang Hoon is a liiiittle bit of a flirt, but he loves Hyun Joo a lot. They met with obstacles, though, since Chang Hoon is the son of Hyun Joo's adoptive parents. But from the very beginning, Chang Hoon wanted to tell his parents that they were dating, and didn't want to give up on their relationship even when Hyun Joo did (which sometimes made me mad at her). Apparently Chang Hoon inherited his playboy genes from his father, whom I also like too, by the way. He was totally cool (and happy) with Chang Hoon dating Hyun Joo, unlike Chang Hoon's mother, who later agreed too, by the way. The whole family is so funny; one of the only things that do not make feel angry or depressed, lol. And ILU TOO, CHANG HOON. xD












^The eldest brother, Tae Joo. He's a really honest and nice guy; he brought up the Jin Joo (youngest sister) himself after their father died, and worked all his life to save money so that he could buy a house for the five siblings to live together. He looks so clueless sometimes, it's cute. And the relationship between him and Choon Sa (some girl) is very cute as well. ^^

This drama is really FRUSTRATING and SAD. (even the songs are so nice but so sad) If I wasn't myself I'd have cried buckets. It didn't have a good viewer rating, but other than being slightly boring, I thought the cast did very well, especially the two lead actors, Dongwan and Eun Jung. And it's so ironic how the person I disliked the most in the beginning turned out okay, but some people I was okay with turned out horrid. But I don't know how many times I almost gave up watching 'cos I couldn't stand the ugly human beings. It's so absurd, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. (I think I became a sadist; I laughed so much.) How can you yell at someone for "humiliating" someone you already killed, almost literally? And how the heck can you tell someone you've hurt to "calm down"? And and how the hell can you be so thick-skinned to tell someone not to "touch my woman" when you already left her, inflicting a scar that will never heal in the process? WHO THE HECK IS THE SCRIPTWRITER; SHE MUST BE FREAKING SICK IN THE HEAD.

In the end everything turned okay; Seo Young got over her depression, Chang Hoon and Hyun Joo got married (YAY!), Seok Joo and Jung Min divorced (he realised his mistake and wanted to treat her well, but she got tired of him). The last scene was Seok Joo lying at the streets drunk and Seo Young running around looking for him. No wonder everyone says the ending sucks. They shouldn't have left it hanging like that, but.. I'll choose to think that they got back together. After all, Seok Joo regret his wrongdoings and Seo Young already forgive him. =) (And Dongwan made a very good-looking drunk xD)

SS501 on Sukira (1 2 3 4 5) -- This can get very long so some highlights: Jungmin's self-obsessiveness (he sounds like Heechul lol), Hyungjoon being so cute throughout (the funny stories about UFO kidnapping a cow and the one where he "ran away from home" for only 6 hours lol) Hyunjoong talking about Hwangbo (she should totally watch it), their ideal girls (Hyungjoon's is BoA and he was so shy about it; he's so cute lol), singing A Song Calling For You (it's addictive; lalalalala), stories of their trainee years (Kyujong talked about how Jungmin held him back from leaving when he almost gave up =) (Kyujong comes across as a nice guy), Hyunjoong talked about how they would bond over ramen and apple juice, Hyungjoon talked about some people who acted friendly after he debuted), and Hyunjoong singing Rain really well at the end (despite being slightly off-tempo xP).


SS501 on School of Rock (1 2 3) -- First was the yes/no questions. In the end the verdict was that Youngsaeng and Jungmin are normal, Hyunjoong is going towards psycho, and Hyungjoon is already psycho LOL. (I think they cut Kyujong's part out.) Then they were assigned missions; (Hyunjoong's was canceled due to the PD's lack of preparations) Hyungjoon's was to do a sexy wave while being a parking assistant. At first Hyungjoon was more reserved, but later looked like he was totally enjoying himself and it was sooo funny. Then the ceremony for the students began and the school mascot, "Little S" entered. It danced with the students and seriously it was HILARIOUS when it started staggering 'cos of its heavy big head and eventually fell. It turned out that Boom was in the costume, haha. So the School of Rock was revealed, the boys sang Four Chance (I'll check out their songs.. one day) and they played the "5 words" game, where fans made requests. A fan got a group hug, Kyujong sang for one (his voice is nice), Jungmin and Hyunjoong did some sexy dance for one. One fan was like, "Come seduce me." At first the boys danced a little, then Hyunjoong danced around her; I'd have totally died lol. Another fan was like, "Can I touch you?" (LOL) and Jungmin was like, "Where do you want to touch?" hahaha. Then they sang another song (which sounds nicee). Youngsaeng's voice sounds a lot like Ryeowook's. Then some girls danced and I was.. quite horrified. (one girl crawled between their legs o.0) Last they sang another song. ^^


Somehow it was so easy for me to remember their names and differentiate them. And the most ironic thing is that 2 months ago, before I watched any of their videos, I stumbled across this wonderfully complete pimp post of SS501, thought that it'd be useful "if I get into them in the future" and bookmarked it. yeah, it'll be useful now. xD
