Younha is back with a new EP! It consists of songs she had previously released as a single or OSTs, including an acoustic version of Waiting, which is so pretty :)). The pictures in the album jacket are totally gorgeous *___*. This song is the only new song. It's a very nice ballad, but it's really sad, like most of her ballads are. Check out the perfect live performance too!

The MV is adorable, but the ending was sad :(. Younha was sooo adorable at 0:56 XD. Kim Dong Wook! He's that "MY CHANNNN" guy in Coffee Prince hehe I like him.

Anyway, the title of the song is so similar to Beast's 내 여자친구를 부탁해 (Take Care Of My Girlfriend). I hope they will have a special stage or something someday; I'll die happy then XDD.

Younha released the second part of her 3rd album recently. (There are so many new albums I have yet to listen other than hers, like Brian's :S.) This song is very nice and Younha's voice is beautiful, but the lyrics are very sad; plus the way Younha sings it, it's just heart-wrenching ;__;. The MV almost made me cry at the end, LOL.

EDIT: Okay that does sound weird xP. So here are videos of her singing 미워하다 (Hating) on the piano and 기억 (Memory) with Tablo on his radio show, two of my favourite songs in her 2nd album. As usual, they're awesome :D (the same goes for Tablo ^^).

I actually went to watch some SNSD girls' singing clips, and I must say they aren't that bad (at least the ones that I saw, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany). Honestly the reason I went to watch them was because I had grown to like Taeyeon's singing after 2 solo songs of hers, and because I had a growing dislike of one of the members, which I thought I needed to get rid of as fast as possible by convincing myself that at least they aren't just pretty faces on skinny bodies xP. (I didn't want to turn into an anti, you see.) Taeyeon is good :).

I think because I'm a female, it's harder for me to really like any female singers. (You can start rolling your eyes, but I can still unashamedly say that I like more than 10 male singers/bands.) So far the only ones I really like are.. Ella and Younha. But a lot more for Younha, which was why I was kinda shocked myself xP.

..I actually like her more than half of the guys included in my tags xD.

The first LIVE performance of this song! Both of them performed really well, albeit slightly shaky at some parts. The harmonisation at the end is love ♥! Love the fans' cheers, especially how they cheered for Younha as well. Dongwan cut his fringe shorter, but still looking good :D. Younha's hair grew longer, looking pretty as always ♥. I'm looking forward to more performances of this song in the future, especially since Younha is going to be performing with him every single time ^^.

Gosh, I love both of them so hard ♥♥♥. And I think it's no secret that I have a huge girlcrush on Younha xPP.

Younha's album is so freakin' amazing, man. So many good songs, I can't pick one favourite. The song of the moment is Memory (it changes everyday), which features Tablo in rapping and is also composed+written by him. This explains why the song has this Epik High feel to it; it's kinda quiet and one can't possibly sing this song well without the right emotions. In fact, I feel that in the LIVE performances the atmosphere is always so heavy, that I'd forget to breathe for a moment. The pitch is very high too, which makes it very difficult to sing. But Younha pulled it off flawlessly. Tablo's rapping is great as always, too. Both are them are so talented; gosh I just love them. *___*

For this episode, first Younha performed Telepathy; it's vocally great as usual. I really like how she always performs this song so energetically, with the piano and all =). After that here's Dongwan's cut: first there was the interview with Younha; she talked about how she used to listen to a radio show he DJ-ed in and he once picked her letter to read. And then he talked about his upcoming solo concert, how he was envious of Younha being able to have a solo career at such a young age (she was so CUTE at 2:06-2:08!) , and praised her piano-playing skills. (I don't understand Korean for nuts, but I read the articles and see Dongwan's body language xD.) Next is the Something Stupid performance (which I already spazzed about xP), and Dongwan's A Man's Love performance. It was fine, but he sounded tired. Please don't overwork yourself, Dongwan!

There are a few versions of the translations, but basically they are all the same. I really love this song; you can always trust Epik High to combine ballad and hip hop to create a wonderful song like this. Their voices blend together really nicely; Epik High actually thought of Younha when they were writing this song and took out a lot of their parts just for her to sing it. Younha sounds like she's repressing her feelings in this song. Her part is SO hard to sing. It doesn't sound so but really, try singing it and you'd realise that the pitch is high and a lot of control is needed. I think I've said enough how much I love her, so I won't say anymore. And Epik High guys always sound awesome, so really, just listen to this song. =)

I'm kinda disappointed that Younha, Mithra and Tukutz didn't appear in the MV, but it's okay, I guess. Tablo is so drenched in it, I hope he didn't catch a flu. The scene where he brushed his teeth with the rainwater is funny, haha. The ending with the rainbow coming out of the two people's heads are LOL. xD

fandoms collide! =DD

The good thing of being in multiple fandoms at once -- you can spazz like mad when the fandoms meet, and abuse the tags!

Shinhwa/Kangta -- Junjin is Kangta's high school friend, Andy almost debuted as in H.O.T, and Hyesung got to know Kangta through Lee Ji Hoon (the three later formed Group S; a wonderful vocal group!). They are all pretty much good friends.

Kangta and Hyesung singing Polaris -- Two of my favourite singers singing one of my favourite Kangta's songs = love. xD

Dangyunhaji - Minwoo vs Kangta -- I actually watched this episode of Xman because of Kangta (I was and still AM a fan of Kangta, after all) . But after watching the whole episode, I got interested in Minwoo and hence Shinhwa. So basically all my fandoms are linked. xD Anyway, Kangta looked awesome (his hair and his smile and HIM *.*) and Minwoo was funny. Some stories about H.O.T and Shinhwa, since they were in the same company and Shinhwa was H.O.T's juniors. Lots of hilarious stuff: the constant praising/jeering each other, Minwoo's "I'm your fan!" and Kangta teaching Minwoo dancing (HAHAHA). Minwoo won in the end by commenting about how Kangta's hair never changed since the 1990s (what's wrong with it? I like it! xP).


Shinhwa/Fly to the Sky -- Really, anything which includes any interaction between the two groups makes me squeal. Like, I remember watching Explore M Showcase and my expression turned to ^___________^ when I saw Hwanhee, who was grinning broadly, sitting with Eric at the side. xD


































Junjin and Brian fooling around -- They were acting like they wanted to kiss each other, with Brian acting as the "girl" (he was acting so gheii lol!), but then Brian declined. haha. Brian looked sooo young and cute back then. (he's still cute now xD)

Minwoo vs Brian cute battle -- What can I say? Both of them were CUTE to the max. xDD

Dongwan on Manwon Happiness -- It was Dongwan vs Stephanie. In the beginning Stephanie met Battle, who is Shinhwa's junior, so naturally they were on Dongwan's side lol. I quite like Tae Hwa, anyway. He dances and sings well, and is cute. ^^ Then they showed Dongwan with Park Myung Soo and Kangin. In the middle, Dongwan got a mission and he saw Brian, who was using the phone. Brian initially said, "I'm talking to my girlfriend" and Dongwan replied, "I know you don't have a girlfriend." lol. Dongwan then wanted Brian to guess what he was doing, but Brian didn't have a clue and said, "Dongwan is a little crazy." haha. Then Brian went on to say how Dongwan was a very good sunbae; he treated Brian well when Brian just debuted. ^^


Shinhwa/Epik High -- Tablo and Minwoo are friends; they acted together in Nonstop Five and Tablo also rapped in two of Minwoo's songs, Let Me Love You and The M Style.

M+Epik High Special Stage -- Minwoo's The M Style first, then Epik High's Fan. Minwoo messed up a bit during Fan, but nonetheless it was a great great performance. =)


Shinhwa/DBSK -- DBSK respects Shinhwa a lot. Jaejoong said in the recent The Star Show that DBSK "felt their aura." lol.


















Yunho hugging Junjin -- This was in 2004, in some music award ceremony. Yunho was hugging Yoochun in the beginning (2U!), then the venue changed and it showed him walking to behind Shinhwa, then Yunho sorta put his arms at Junjin's waist, who turned around, smiled a little and played with Yunho's hands a bit. Then Andy and Junjin turned around and DBSK started bowing to them. They're so polite. And Shinhwa seem like such good sunbaes. And Yunho is like a cute little kid. xP

Yunho before Star Dance Battle fancam -- This is part of the infamous "18 bows" I talked about here. In the beginning you can see Yunho had his arms around a guy (I dunno who; probably a senior), and it's really so cute to see him behaving like that; it reminds me that he's actually still that innocent Yunho. (Now it sounds like I'm doing a Yunho post lol.) Then Minwoo came over and asked how he was feeling, I think, since Yunho motioned towards his head. And Minwoo sorta touched his forehead. haha. The rest of the video is just Yunho standing around looking bored and a little of Junsu's rehearsal too.


Fly to the Sky/DBSK -- In Line Up, when asked about an artist they are close with, Micky answered Fly to the Sky. And in The Star Show, Micky said about how Brian used to bring them to movies, etc. ^^

Brian imitating Junsu's singing -- He sounded exactly like Junsu! 8D

Brian imitating Junsu's talking -- Brian was going to release his solo album, and DBSK was encouraging him. Anyway he doesn't really sound like Junsu, but it's funny lol. And Junsu is reallyyyy cute here, you can just die. xD


Fly to the Sky/Epik High

Heroine 6 Tablo and Brian cut -- They were playing some game, I guess, and Hye Run was punishing the two of them by pulling their noses and breathing in their faces (lol). I feel sorry for Tablo 'cos he really looked like he was in pain, but it was cute when he pretended to puke into a plastic bag. There's no subs so I don't understand but in the middle Brian pouted his lips and pointed to it, like indicating someone to kiss it (I'm assuming one of the pretty girls there). But Hye Run just went and kiss him on the lips. ROFLx1000 that was so unexpected. Brian's reaction is priceless. xD At the end Tablo sang one line of Sexyback, and Hyun Young sang it too. But she sounded like she was singing "I'm going to sexy bar" so Brian and Tablo who are proficient in English literally kneelled down laughing. Then the two of them imitated her lol.

Tablo, Brian and Eru singing FTTS' Like a Man -- Tablo looked so nervous, he's cute. xD Brian was laughing at him, lol (BRIAN IS CUTE TOO! xP). I heard of like, one or two of Eru's songs before but now then I notice that he sounds so much like Hwanhee. Brian and Eru left Tablo to sing alone during the high notes. lol they're so mean. xDD I thought Tablo did okay, actually. ^^


DBSK/Suju -- They were trainees together, some of them have been friends for many years, and some of them almost debuted as a group together. Hence, they're very close. I love Hyuksu, Yunhae and Horella the most out of the pairings. ^^

Eunhyuk talking about Junsu -- This is SO SWEET. Hyuksu rules, for real. =D

Yunho and Donghae in Love Letter -- Donghae's hair here is kinda funny haha. Donghae and Micky talked about how greedy Yunho is, lol. Then they played the sumo game and Yunho won.

DBSK phone call to Suju -- Jaejoong was acting as a 12 year-old, and his voice was so cute. The whole thing is so funny. Jaejoong said he doesn't like Yesung and Eunhyuk lol. And what's up with Kyuhyun asking him whether he knows what's NaCl? haha. There was the usual Hyuksu bickering, Changmin being cute, Yunho being sick (but he was ever polite), etc.

Yunho and Donghae playing around -- This was during the making of Red Sun. Donghae carried Yunho on his back and you can see Jaejoong at the back giving the death glare. xD

Suju winning an award -- It was cute when Suju's name was announced and 5 people immediately stood and clap at the back. DBSK looked so happy for Suju. ^^ A lot of tears, too. It was a touching moment for Suju.

Yunho goofing around -- I think Yunho was either bored or wanted to do a fan-service, since he went around hugging Eunhyuk and Donghae. xP

Yunho and Donghae interview before concert -- I remember watching this subbed before, but now I can't find it. T.T If I remember correctly, they were talking about how they finally got a chance to perform together on stage. Jaejoong was being a cam-whore too haha.

Yunho and Donghae performing Spokesman -- This song was composed by the two of them. It's rock and at first I was kinda surprised to hear Yunho singing this type of song. But I like it, and it's nice seeing them performing together. The whole crowd was high. =)

Damn..

..these super talented Korean artists. They're making me listen to more and more songs that I don't understand each day. Not that I mind, though, since I don't place a lot of importance in lyrics anyway. xP

Let's go from the artist that I 'discovered' earlier.

First up, we have Younha! She's (are you surprised that I actually like a female singer? haha!) a Korean, but apparently she went to a lot of auditions in Korea before becoming a singer, but all the companies rejected her, saying she wasn't pretty enough (even though IMO she's pretty). However, in the end she debuted in Japan. She's only 19, but her voice is sooo beautiful and powerful and just so nice. *.* Her range can be compared to those of western singers, too. Again, this emphasizes the point that looks isn't everything. Well, in my dictionary, it's as close as nothing, actually. It's those company's losses for not signing up such a talent.

I first saw her performing (singing and playing the piano) in Dream Concert. I got interested, looked up some random clips of her singing, and was instantly impressed. Then I listened to her two Korean albums and almost rated all the songs five stars, lol. Her albums have a good mix of ballads and rock-ish songs. Unfortunately I don't have the time to listen to her Japanese songs, but I will.. one day! haha. She's actually my favourite female singer now. ^^

I haven't listened to as much of her songs as I'd have liked to, but for now I'll just link you to these wonderful videos of hers.

Next is Fly to the Sky! They're a Korean (duh!) duo consisting of Brian Joo and Hwanhee. They have been around since 1999; I don't know where I've been all this time that I never listened to any of their songs. I had wanted to try out their songs since I got into KPop, but I kept procrastinating and it wasn't until recently that I listened to their compilation album, which hopefully did justice to their works (since it should contain their better/more popular songs). It was great! Their latest album is good, too. Most of their songs are ballads and R&B. Good voices, awesome skill and good songs; what more can you ask? I've been playing their LIVE performances on Youtube without watching the video itself. And 90% of the time they sound flawless. o.0

Brian's voice is clearer and generally higher while Hwanhee's is lower, gruffer and powerful. Their voices complement each other's really well. Personally I like Brian's better, since sometimes I feel overwhelmed/pressurized while listening to Hwanhee's deep voice - he over-sings at times. Both of them sings really really well, which is why it irks me when people comment "Hwanhee sings so much better than Brian" or "Hwanhee is better off without Brian". Hwanhee's technique is better and he got the better genes of having the more powerful voice, but they're a group, don't you see? They wouldn't be as succesful without each other. Anyway, I've always disliked is the tapping of the microphone, which happens to be Brian's habit. But on account of his soothing voice, I can ignore that. haha.

If you'd allow me to say something beside their singing -- I really think that Hwanhee looked perfectly fine before, so I have no idea why he went to have a plastic surgery after 8 years of being in the showbiz. Of course he looks great now, but he already looked good all along. As for Brian, I knew who he was before I knew FTTS from some variety shows and he's one hell of a funny guy. Even thinking about it is making me crack up, lol. And! to prove that it wasn't their looks that got me into them, I don't have a single one of their picture, except for one small album cover in which you can't even see their face clearly. I think I'm gonna check out more of their stuff, not only the singing ones. xD If I have the time. (arghh timee!)

But for now, let's just listen to their wonderful voices. =)

I actually wanted to include Kangta, but that would lead to S (group), which would in turn lead to Hyesung (from Shinhwa). The post would be unbearably long, so I decided to put it off for another time. Now that I think about it, I still have a few albums I haven't listened to yet. *runs to listen*

On the side note, the U-Know Yunho concert tee came today. It's long-sleeved, the material isn't cheapskate and most importantly it's big, even for a fat ass like me. Hurray! =))
