[Chorus]

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

I don't know why I've been listening to older Chinese songs nowadays, but anyway, this song is awesome! I love the lyrics :). I won't quote any single line 'cos I'd end up quoting the whole song LOL. I really like the lyrics!

曹格 - 倒數五答應我

This is such a sweeeeeeet song :))). I may be a very realistic person, but I really love the lyrics. Especially 第三个要求; you'll know what I'm talking about when you listen to the song xD. And what can I say, I guess the way Cao Ge sings this song is just really sweet, that I would choose to abandon my skeptical personality for a while ^^.

曹格, 我真的好爱你 ♥!

080825 娛樂百分百 曹格粉絲聽證會

part 2 3 4 5

Why the heck did I not watch this before?! I love seeing Xiao Zhu, Xiao Gui and Cao Ge together; they're all very good friends, so they are very comfortable with one another and they have very good chemistry together. The 娛樂百分百 episodes with Cao Ge on them are especially hilarious; that's why I've been watching them xD.

This was when Cao Ge's voice was all zaosia-ish. And you did not read wrongly; it's a 聽證會, even when his voice was like that. It's painful listening to his speaking voice :(. But like I said before, he's such a professional! The moment he started singing, you'd go O____O 'cos he still sounded really good. 他好厉害喔 :). AND AND he sang I'll Be There HOMG. I LOVE THAT SONG :))). (Cao Ge's original English version totally beats the duet by 张惠妹 and 萧敬腾. I'm not being biased or anything; I've always been in awe of Amei's singing and Jam has a cute personality, but I think that song sounds better as a solo.)

I think the best part about Cao Ge's singing is not his soothing voice, his amazing technique or his crazy vocal range; it's the emotion he puts into singing. Like what he always says when he becomes a judge on some singing competitions -- emotion when singing is very important, and if you do feel what you're singing, then the audience will too. And that's what sets Cao Ge apart from some other singers: when he sings, we can feel that he isn't concentrating on whether he looks good on the camera, whether he hit the notes perfectly, or whether he's able to show off his techniques. He just simply sings, because he loves singing, because he wants to share with us how he feels about the song. He sings out what he's feeling at the moment he sings. That's why I love listening to and watching him sing.

And there I went again; blabbering on about things I've said a million times before LOL.

I think one day I'll re-watch all the variety shows with Cao Ge on them, especially the 聽證會s, just because the MCs' reactions to Cao Ge's singing are always so funny xDD. And Cao Ge is very humorous too, actually ^^.

Off topic: 小猪真的太好笑了啦 :DD!

海派甜心 (Hi My Sweetheart)

(Dramawiki)

I enjoyed watching this drama! There were funny and touching parts. I cried quite a few times and teared a lot of times while watching this drama, HAHA. I really think that I cry too easily nowadays; I must be getting old. But anyway. I watched this drama because obviously, I like both Xiao Zhu and Rainie Yang :DD. Xiao Zhu is a really great guy, while Rainie is very cute, but also cool and straightforward. Both of them did a great job, but it's their fault I cried so much haha. I like the ending! By the end of the drama you'll find yourself singing along to the soundtrack lol ^^. Do watch the behind-the-scenes, because they will make you appreciate the actors more :). Rainie and Xiao Zhu are so cute together xD.

Bao Zhu is so vulgar and violent LOL. Initially she acted violent to cover up her weakness, to protect herself because she didn't want to get hurt. But that just shows how weak she is emotionally, for she breaks down easily in front of the people she trusts. She's unsociable but is very cool; she has her own principles which she firmly stands by.

Rainie is soooo pretty :)). Her face is so small and her facial features seem to be all in their right place haha. And her hair is very pretty too xD. I realised that I've been watching all her dramas ever since Devil Beside You, LOL. She acts well! She's great at tearing and crying scenes haha. Seriously I wouldn't be able to act alongside Xiao Zhu 'cos I'd be laughing my ass off the whole time HAHAHA; she's a pro! And she's my idol for running so fast in high heels, LMAO.

For convenience's sake, I'd refer to the old Hsueh Hai as Da Lang, like how he was called when he was studying, and the new casanova Hsueh Hai as Hsueh Hai. Da Lang is a big dork; he's tacky and kinda embarrassing to be around. But you'd adore him once you get past his ridiculous appearance, because he's very kind and he's a cute dork. On the other hand, Hsueh Hai is a player; he's a bastard who plays around with girls and throws money around like nobody's business. (Sorry for the crude language; I really dislike playboys lol.) And he's freakin' annoying and immature, like UGH. But I pitied him, for he had to steel himself when facing Bao Zhu, and constantly remind himself to hate her, when obviously he loved her. Afterwards when he learnt about the misunderstanding he changed for the better, though. It's like, we could finally see that he was still the kind Da Lang.

Xiao Zhu is a good actor; he acted out Da Lang and Hsueh Hai, which are two completely different people, really well. Every time, after Hsueh Hai acted like a total jerk in front of Bao Zhu, when she left he'd have this very complicated look on his face, and somehow his mood would turn really heavy. He'd sigh a breath of relief, but his shoulders would be stiff and he'd look like he regretted everything he said. I guess it'd be easy for Xiao Zhu to be downright idiotic since he's naturally witty, but I think he'd be cringing as he said some of the lines, since he's a good guy but Hsueh Hai is such a jerk LOL. By the way, 小猪超帅 xDD.

He Yan Feng is a really good guy. He's such a reliable 學長! He is mature and has very high EQ. He's a great person. I'd love to have a big brother like him! He looks very kind when he smiles :). I don't like his hair though :S.

Some criticisms: the flashbacks were too long; some of the plot, like the one with the big sister, were unnecessary; there were some unrealistic scenes, like how Yan Feng always seemed to be able to find Bao Zhu (he must have bugged her LOL CREEPER). Also, I'd have liked to see how that dork Lin Da Lang changed into the casanova Hsueh Hai. I mean, even if he got a shock and had a personality change, he wouldn't have known how to woo girls and stuff without learning them.

如果你想哭, 可以不要笑啊。

Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me

Hey, slow it down
What do you want from me
What do you want from me
Yeah, I’m afraid
What do you want from me
What do you from me

There might have been a time
I would give myself away
(Ooh) Once upon a time
I didn’t give a damn
But now here we are
So what do you want from me
What do you want from me

Just don’t give up
I’m workin’ it out
Please don’t give in
I won’t let you down
It messed me up, need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around
Hey, what do you want from me
What do you want from me
What do you want from me

Yeah, it’s plain to see
that baby you’re beautiful
And there’s nothing wrong with you
It’s me – I’m a freak
but thanks for lovin’ me
Cause you’re doing it perfectly

There might have been a time
When I would let you step away
I wouldn’t even try but I think
you could save my life

Just don’t give up
I’m workin’ it out
Please don’t give in
I won’t let you down
It messed me up, need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around
Hey, what do you want from me
What do you want from me

Just don’t give up on me
I won’t let you down
No, I won’t let you down

So
Just don’t give up
I’m workin’ it out
Please don’t give in
I won’t let you down
It messed me up, need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around
Hey, what do you want from me

Just don’t give up
I’m workin’ it out
Please don’t give in
I won’t let you down
It messed me up, need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around
Hey, whataya want from me
(whataya want from me)
Whataya want from me
whataya want from me

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like this song A LOT! Adam Lambert can sing very well :). The live performances of this song are all great, and he's one awesome performer (1 2 3 4 5). I abso-freakin'-lutely love how he smiles to himself, shakes his head and even chuckles a little when singing the line It’s me – I’m a freak. And how he smiles sincerely when singing the next line, but thanks for lovin’ me. Random: I think he looks much better without his usual heavy make up.

F.T Island - 090807 Make A Wish @ Yoo Hee-Yeol's Sketchbook

Sunday is over
We are all going home
No reason to stay here
But no one has made a move

We know that for sure
Nothing lasts forever
But we have too many things gone too fast

Let's a make a wish
Easy one
That you are not the only one
And someone's there next to you holding your hand
Make a wish
You'll be fine
Nothing's gonna let you down
Someone's there next to you holding you now
Someone's there next to you holding you
Along the paths you walk

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have posted this before, but I've been listening to this song all day that I really have to post it again. Hongki's voice is just so, so pretty *____*.

One more song!

한 사람만 (Only One Person)

I LOVE this song. (Seriously, F.T Island's debut album is by far THE best debut album by any Korean boybands I've heard so far.) The lyrics are sad, but that's not what makes this song so heartbreaking; Hongki's voice is. The way he sings this song gives me goosebumps and makes me want to cry at the same time.

ILU, Hongki ♥♥♥♥♥.

I hate money.

useless rambling lol.

I have watched 200 Pounds Beauty a lot of times. As in, really a lot of times. I watched it for the nth time just now, and like every time I watch it, I cried like a freakin' baby. GUH I so love that movie.

You know, I actually do think that Sang Jun liked Hanna. He treated her like a normal girl, not like a seriously overweight girl that she was. In fact, he treated her better than other girls. Of course, that might have been because he was a professional producer, and seeing how talented Hanna was, he pitied her for not being able to become a real singer due to her looks, and treated her well 'cos he cherished her talent. But then there was the scene where he told Ammy how they were just using her, because without her, there wouldn't be Ammy; that scene suggested that just like everyone else, he was repulsed by her and just saw her as a tool. But then again, after saying that he broke up with Ammy, and there were lots of scenes that showed that he really cared for Hanna -- the scene where he showed Jenny the video of Hanna singing, how he looked really pissed off when he saw Ammy wearing the same clothes Hanna was wearing, and how he was genuinely worried that Hanna fell off the hole. So my conclusion is, he really did care for Hanna. If she didn't go for plastic surgery, he might have developed feelings for her, but still he might not want to be together with her 'cos of her looks. If that was so, he'd be a total asshole 'cos it was his fault that Hanna got her hopes up about him; he was too nice to her and made her think that she was special.

Random: Ju Jin Mo's eyes are super hot LOL.

2AM - 친구의 고백 (A Friend's Confession)

I love this song, especially the chorus :)). I've been wanting to check out 2AM's songs since I heard Jokwon singing this song at Strong Heart (and because 2AM is a ballad group; of course we can never get enough of ballads right xDD), but it kept slipping off my mind. I had never paid much attention to the band (and 2PM too, because seriously, 2AM+2PM= One Day?!), but Jokwon is famous for being downright hilarious. He's such a diva LOL. And aside from the personality that seems to be totally made for the entertainment industry, he's got a nice voice and sings well. Ironically enough, his looks, diva (screen) personality and his voice remind me of Brian xD. But anyway! All of the 2AM members sing very well. I watched a few live performances (1 2 3) of theirs, and they're all good :). Changmin's voice can hit crazy high notes o__o. Is it just me or does Jinwoon's voice sound like Hyungjoon? Seulong is good-looking xP.

This has nothing to do with this song, but the MV of their newest single from their first mini album, Can't Let You Go Even If I Die, is so beautifully-shot *___*. And those lyrics are heartbreaking ;__;.

Whether you're going to go or leave, fix my heart first.

Lastly, one more video!

090516 2AM + 2PM - A Friend's Confession + Again & Again @ Music Core

Honestly it wasn't much of a collaboration, since it was only Junsu and Jaebum joining 2AM near the end of the performance. Both groups performed well, but my favourite part is definitely Jaebum's rap! It's so cool how he fit the rap into the ballad. And the lyrics of the rap are really good. (Check the comments!) He's got a great sense of rhythm :).

ARGH Jaebum needs to come back like, NOW.

Oh anyway 2AM and 2PM have their own combined tag now xD.

2PM - 기다리다 지친다 (Tired of Waiting)

There's too much autotune in this song to my liking; I can barely make out their voices. But still, it's a very catchy song! I like it better than Heartbeat, haha.

I'm not even a fan of 2PM, but seriously, Jaebum, come back! He was the member that caught my attention (after Nichkhun) and when he left I just stopped trying to get into the fandom. I've been watching a few of older 2PM videos today and it sucks to be reminded time and again that Jaebum isn't there anymore x__x.

Tokyo Dogs

(Dramawiki)

Oguri Shun and Mizushima Hiro as main leads in a drama together?! How can anyone NOT watch it, LOL. Well, I sure did haha! Anyway, this is such a funny drama LOL. It doesn't feel like the humour is forced; it's funny in unexpected ways. I really like this drama! The cast are great and the plot is interesting :). I can't really explain it, but I think it was shot very well too. But the ending was so inconclusive, other than the one for the main plot. I demand a sequel, or at least a Special >:[!

Oguri Shun stars as Takakura Sou, an elite detective. He looks like an emotionless robot, but is actually a great guy. He's strict, but not unreasonable. He's just a really good detective, that's all. He's very dependable! He's strong, yet vulnerable. And he's actually very innocent, like a kid. Guh I love Sou; he's such a dear :3. Sou is currently my favourite role that Shun has played so far, after Hanazawa Rui. (I mean, Rui is one of the Mr. Perfects in my eyes.)

(By the way, isn't it ironic that both the main leads have played a Mr. Perfect before? Shun as Rui in Hana Yori Dango, and Hiro as Rihito in Mei-chan no Shitsuji xD.)

Shun is a really good actor! All of his scenes are so believable. He is SO KAKKOI, neeeeee? This hairstyle makes him look like a cool goody-two-shoes, which suits Sou's personality. But like I said before, Shun is really versatile with hairstyle; he can pull off any look x). Sou's usual look is cute, but the yakuza look when he goes undercover plus the change in attitude is totally hot. It's like Sou got taken over by Genji (Crows Zero) LOL xDD. Oh and Shun's English sounds decent! Shun did really well in this drama :)).

Mizushima Hiro stars as Kudo Maruo, another detective who's very reckless, but is quite skilled too. Maruo is frivolous, but he's kind and very understanding. He's perceptive; which is why he's easily the mood-maker. He's a playboy, but when it comes to real love, he's not such an expert lol. And he's so funny :D! I'd love to have a friend like him :)).

Hiro is back with his usual hairstyle. Of course he looks good with it, but I'd like to see him with his hair straight too xP. (I've only seen it in pictures.) He looks kinda sexy with that unshaven look xDD. It makes him look more mature, which is a good thing 'cos in my opinion he can pass off as a 20-year-old otherwise. But still, he's really cute at the same time! And his eyes still sparkle *__*. Somehow I get the feeling that he's a gentle person ^^. (Or maybe it's just the image of Rihito stuck in my mind LOL.) Ayaka is suuuuch a lucky girl :)).

Maruo is the overly easy-going type, so naturally he makes lame jokes and does funny things, but Sou is always serious and says everything with a straight face, even funny stuff that he doesn't find funny. And it's hilarious when he tries to make a joke LMAO! They are both funny xDD. Sou and Maruo argue a lot about pointless stuff even when they're on duty, which is hilarious LOL. They are so different from each other, but somehow they make good partners :).

(Off-topic: geez, why do people smoke?! Hot guys + cigarettes = NOT HOT. )

I like how Yuki is not another naive baka; she's got some back bone :D. And she's very nice! Yoshitaka Yuriko is very cute :)). I love Sou and Yuki together :DDD. They have very good chemistry. Maruo is very nice towards her too, but he's more like a buddy haha ^^;;.

Sou's family is so lively hahaha. Kousuke (the little kid) is sooooooo cute! Mikami Kensei's (Hiroto) talking voice sounds like Daigo's haha xP. Horikawa is quite cute too :3. Horikawa and Maki are great together, 'cos Maki is mad possessive but Horikawa is stupid enough to not see that LOL. The ending song is by EXILE. I realised that their songs have the same "feel" to them, which is not a bad thing ^^. The opening is cool, and the ending scenes are very beautifully shot :DD.

To end off..

Credits to leaky_sponge. This scene was hilarious LMAO. I love you Shun ♥!

Breakerz - 逢いたくて (Aitakute)

This is a nice song! It's pretty common-sounding, but I don't know, I like it ^^. Well, I have other songs of Breakerz that I like better than this one, that I had wanted to post some time ago, but today I'm in the mood for this song xP. I really like Breakerz' music :). Are all JRock bands' music like this? 'Cos Breakerz' style reminds me of F.T Island -- a mix of rock ballads, happy upbeat rock and punk rock, plus the soulful voice of the lead singer. Whatever it is, I like them! I'm gonna post a few more of their songs in the future :D.

Thursday 4 February 2010

UGH I hate shadows.

Tuesday 2 February 2010

movie marathon xD.

So. Yesterday I was bored of going out with no particular destination in mind on my off days, so I decided to stay at home and watch a bunch of movies. Decided to watch ones that wouldn't require too much brain power, lol ^^;;.

1. She's The Man

This is not a bad chick flick at all! It was quite funny and touching at some parts. The cast did a good job. Amanda Bynes was so convincing as a guy! If I didn't know beforehand that she was a girl, I would have thought that she was a guy. Her character in the movie, Viola, is a really cool chick. Channing Tatum is hot, what else can I say ^^. I still don't really believe that a hot soccer captain who's actually Mr. Sensitive exists (a lot like Austin, Chad Michael Murray's role in A Cinderella Story, except that he was a football captain). And I'm big on the gender equality thing, but one has to admit that in terms of physical strength, females can't compare to males. (Unless the girl is some body-builder or taekwondo instructor or the equivalent, versus a totally unfit guy.) But hey, whatever, right xP.

2. The Proposal

This is a good movie! Certain scenes were really hilarious. Made me tear at some parts, mainly because of the great acting of the cast. My favourite scene is probably the one where Margaret drove the speedboat really fast, and when Andrew asked what the heck she was doing, she answered, flustered, that she forgot what it was like to have a family, to have people who love you. Sandra Bullock can really act :)). And well, she's my ultimate girlcrush xDD. She's so pretty *sigh*. The chemistry between the two main leads, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, was evident here. So even though the two made an unlikely pair, us viewers would be rooting for them. I'd recommend this movie if you're in the mood for a romantic comedy ^^. AND here's the bloopers :DD!

3. Step Up

Oh look who's there! Channing Tatum! I didn't know he was in this movie! LOL, who am I kidding? Of course I knew, that's why I watched this. But anyway. It's a pretty good movie. All those dancing scenes definitely made the movie. Contemporary dance is so beautiful, huh *___*. That scene where the two leads danced by the sunset was gorgeous. I don't care much for the fighting and clubbing scenes, and I'm not impressed by the fact that someone who has practically been wasting his life away can start talking big as if he's been enlightened on the day after his brother's death. And Tyler (Channing Tatum's role) is so fickle; it was kinda irritating sometimes. But other than those, overall the movie is enjoyable. It's nice to see actors who can dance and act ^^.

4. Fight Club

After watching 3 light-hearted movies I decided to go for something more serious, so I watched this famous movie that I suppose almost everyone has watched. The lead actors' acting are really good. I love the ending! The plot is very intense, unexpected and confusing sometimes. There are utopia-related ideas thrown in here and there, but the movie doesn't give us a clear stand on whether they are right or not, which leaves the judgment to us viewers. I think I'm gonna watch it again sometime, because there are some parts that I still don't really understand.

5. Camp Rock

I said that I was looking for a no-brainer, but seriously, this movie made me feel that I was too old for this. Sheesh, kids *shake heads*. Most of the actors look like they're 12-14, which wouldn't be a problem if their acting didn't reflect that. I couldn't take their acting seriously at all. This was probably why they didn't come across as likeable in the movie, even when they're pretty and cute and all. And you know that I'm not usually very picky when it comes to acting, so that says something. Luckily they're good in the music department -- singing, dancing and playing instruments. That literally saved the movie, even though the songs weren't that great either (except for This Is Me and I Gotta Find You, which are very nice) and the movements when singing were exaggerated. Nick and Kevin Jonas' random appearances were quite entertaining too. (Maybe because they didn't really have to act.) Joe Jonas should stick to singing with Jonas Brothers -- because he's got a very good voice -- and looking cute. Demi Lovato's voice is nice too. But I really should have skipped the middle one hour of the movie and went straight for the last 30 minutes. Actually, I'll save you the trouble and post the link for the scenes worth watching -- 1 2 3. The best part of the movie is in the third link, how Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas sang This Is Me and I Gotta Find You respectively, together, and how the two songs and their voices really matched. (And I'm not gonna say anything about how even when singing those songs to each other, I still found their gazes unconvincing.) That was cool. I like the piano version of This Is Me better though, as sung in the first link.

Now I feel like re-watching High School Musical (the first one; I haven't got around to watching the second and third) and Raise Your Voice.
