F.T Island's Showcase!

Just read the fan accounts of F.T Island's showcase on Soompi. It sounds really awesome! Hongki was really hyper as usual; jumping around the stage, working the crowd, flirting with the fans and cameras and even doing some ballerina jump across the stage. I shouldn't have been worried about him after all ^^;;. He belongs to the stage! Anyway, the lucky fangirls got to see them up-close (they were so close to the stage) and some of them directly interacted with Hongki! I'm so envious xDD. (Envious =/= jealous, okay!) More fan-accounts to make you go green: 1 2 3. ^^ (EDIT: The 3rd fan-account there explains why Hongki was in a bad mood. And apparently the rest of them, too.)

Musically, there seemed to be something off with the speakers? According to the fan accounts, the whole music was so loud that they doubted FTI could actually hear themselves. Hongki went off-tune on a few barely-noticeable notes, but other than that he was great; everyone said he sounds better live. And he didn't sound out-of-breath even though he was jumping and singing at the same time. (Why the hell is this post sounding all biased.) Not sure about the others 'cos the fans didn't really comment on the playing, haha. But from the fancams I've seen, it's all good :D. Minhwan made a mistake during Love Is, though; Hongki turned to look at him lol. (Why so adorable, Minhwan?)

They performed Because I Didn't Know How To Love OMG; I'd pay 100 bucks just to hear that ONE song. Okay that's kinda exaggerated, but still. Anyway, Jonghun played the piano for the song. They performed splendidly! The two fancams are of the full song, Hongki and Jonghun-focused respectively. Wished I could see Seunghyun's guitar solo (because well, other than this song where Jonghun the lead guitarist is on piano, he doesn't get any solo :S), but I'm happy that I can at least listen to the full song ^^.

Jaejin said, "I want Singapore girlfriend" after introducing himself, LOL. Obviously he didn't mean it, but it was cute x). He should have spoken more English 'cos like I said before, it seems that he's quite good at it. Instead they let Hongki speak, and it's so cute! He was supposed to introduce the Encore songs, F.T Island and Until You Come Back, but he stopped at "You.." for the later, gave up and said, "너 올때까지~!", LOL. Seunghyun and Jaejin were helping him haha. Seunghyun seems to be good too; his "be quiet" was perfectly spoken ^^. That aside, it seemed that there wasn't any spotlight at the back so Minhwan couldn't be seen at all :[. Jonghun was also in the dark half the time.

Jaejin and Minhwan sound really friendly :DD. Minhwan even gave an air-kiss to one of the girls!

The boys flew off to somewhere already. (I think they're touring?) Hope they'll come to Singapore again sometime! Someone should tell them that now is exam period so a lot of their fans weren't able to come, haha. I'm hopeful though; they're still young and have many years ahead of them, so one day I believe they'll come here again ^^. The same can't be said about Shinhwa; I missed that one full concert that might have been the only one ;__;. And by the way the Primadonnas are awesome; they prepared so much for the band. The boys wore the t-shirts they gave at the encore! (I don't know if Hongki's shirt was supposed to be sleeveless 'cos the rest aren't. Did he cut them himself? xP)

It's 3am now and I need to sleep. May Will find more fancams and fan-accounts tomorrow x). Night! :DD


EDIT: Apparently they went back to Korea first, and are going to Japan in July. They had a fanmeeting with the Pris! Looks like they had a lot of fun :). Pictures are up on Soompi. They were all wearing yellow and being all smiley happy; so adorable :DD. From the pictures, Jaejin played an acoustic guitar, Seunghyun played keyboard, Minhwan sang, Jonghun and Hongki did their usual stuff. I wanna read the articles or watch the videos to see what actually happened ^^.

And I'm getting confused 'cos most sites have the translation of the song 사랑하는 법을 몰라서 as Because I Don't Know How To Love, while others as Because I Didn't Know How To Love. And I've been using the later as when I first listening to their songs I used wiki for the song titles translations, lol. But whatever, it's not really important. (I'm just fussy and picky lol.) I swear I'm gonna learn Korean one day >:[.

Hongki cut his hair! It looks like his 2nd album hair YAY. But Hongki looks good no matter what, so~ WHAT. Everyone's looking fly, actually. Jonghun cut his hair too; it's is not all curly girly anymore :D!

But looks aside. From the fancam I was getting the feeling that Hongki was pissed; I don't know, he was just emitting a gangster aura which kinda scared me. So I went to Soompi and read the fan accounts, and apparently he had been in a bad mood all day. I don't know the reason (some people said it was because he couldn't go shopping lol), it might be because the fans kept stalking them, filming them, not giving them space to breathe? I don't know. But I hope the fans will restrain themselves and give them some privacy. After all, it's their first time here and they'd want to go sightseeing and stuff, without having their every movement under scrutiny.

If I were there, I think I'd just follow them around from a distance , not recording them, not calling out their names, not asking for an autograph; basically not doing anything. I'd be contented just to see them ^^.

But anyway. Everyone's been saying how friendly Minhwan is! Aww maknae is adorable :). I watched this fancam where the girls recording were commenting on how good-looking Jonghun is in person, LOL. I'm sure he is x).

I hope the performance tonight will be a blast! And hopefully Hongki will cheer up by then ^^;;.

No, I have not x). But that is not the point; the point is, this is such a lovely song ♥. And of course, Shane and Mark's voices are awesome :D. I've been wanting to post this song eons ago, but I kept forgetting to do so since I was always distracted by other stuff.

Most of the time I'm very skeptical when it comes to love songs that aren't emo, but I really like the lyrics of this song. My favourite lines are:

As usual, don't ask me why, because I don't know either xP. I really do like this song and the lyrics, though! I don't wanna tell you how many times it's been played on my iPod 'cos I put it on repeat so many times; it's kinda embarrassing ^^;;.

090625 V.O.S - 큰일이다 @ M!Countdown


Did you see Jiheon glancing at the camera at 0:23? I squealed a little and watched it again, haha ^^;;. I like his hair! Anyway, they all sound and look great :). And they won #1 again! Congrats, guys :)). There's no subs so I don't understand their thank-you speech, so I skipped to the Encore, which sounds good as well.


Anyway! F.T Island arrived in Singapore yesterday :). I only watched one fancam of them arriving 'cos I'm not a big fan of airport fancams, and they were wearing masks, haha. Was quite surprised to see screaming fangirls, though! I guess they must be popular enough here to be able to hold a showcase =]. Hope they'll have a blast performing tomorrow! And the lucky fangirls that get to go, please record many fancams of the performance! ^^

And one more thing! After Jaejin, Hongki was cast in a musical. He's gonna do GREAT, I just know it :DD. Hongki hwaiting ♥!


I'm watching Hyungjoon and Hyunjoong DJ-ing on Music High now. Hyungjoon is the permanent DJ of the show while Hyunjoong was guesting. I don't know, they're just really adorable together! No wonder DoubleHJ is my OTP is SS501, haha x). Hyungjoon is such a cute kid and even more so when he's with Hyunjoong-hyung ♥♥♥.

Hyungjoon laughed a lot here, because of Hyunjoong, hahaha! I'm literally squealing as I watch the show, LOLOL. That scene where Hyunjoong answered a question about Hyungjoon being his favourite "thing" was sdgfgjkalkadorable omg; my mouth almost split from grinning too widely. The person who asked the question even included "love DoubleHJ" in the message xP.

I'm afraid I'd continue editing this post every one minute, LOL. So one line to sum up: seriously DoubleHJ makes me dieeee xD.

Minwoo - Minnovation

M is back! I didn't like the song at first, but after a few listens it grew on me. It is catchy! M technology~. Minwoo composd, wrote and arranged the song himself. It has a techno feel, which is different from his usual style of music. It's M's innovation, all right ^^. The MV is kinda crowded, like too many different concepts in one video, but what can I say? Minwoo is hot xP. I love his hairstyle! And his dancing is always top-notch :).

Here's an interview at the MV filmsite. Minnovation was inspired by seagulls, LOL. He designed all the costumes (even the dancers') himself and came up with the "antenna dance" shown in the MV the day before it was filmed. Wow, isn't he mad talented or what x).

I'm liking his mini album -- other than this song, there are 3 other new songs which sound great too ^^. This is his last work before going to the military :S.

By the way, apparently Minwoo broke up with Amy last month? I only knew today o____O. I don't have any fondness or dislike towards Amy, but I was happy that Minwoo was attached. Now he's single again :(. But well, I guess if their personality didn't match, it couldn't be helped. They broke up after 8 months of dating.

So! Rather than feeling sad over that^, here's a video of Andy being asked about the (then) rumour that Junjin and Shiyoung were dating. Andy is adorable haha xD. He didn't answer the questions but said that rather than being curious about the rumour, he was more hoping that he'd get a girlfriend. Solbi is just a phone call away, Andy! But anyway. I hope the Junjin-Shiyoung couple can last for a long time :)).

SS501 Collection MV - 1st Episode

I'm demanding you to watch this in HD, like, RIGHT NOW.

In the beginning of the MV, we see Hyunjoong, Kyujong and Jungmin pointing their guns at each other.










Then a girl came out of a car and a gunshot is heard, following which there were some scenes with a lot of blood. All the guys seemed to be bloody, but the girl appeared unscathed.

But that's the preview of what's gonna happen in the next episode. In present time, Hyunjoong and Kyujong are assassins. Hyunjoong was ordered to kill Jungmin, while Kyujong was to kill Jungmin's girlfriend.




















After the two assassins shot their targets, Hyunjoong kidnapped Jungmin's girlfriend. He bandaged her wounds, gave her food and basically took care of her everyday, but of course she, being held captive, wasn't too happy with him. One day she hit him on the head with some wooden/metal clock, but he didn't even seem to feel it. (And I ROFL-ed.)
















There's that split second where he looked angry, like his instincts were to strike back, but he restrained himself. Very well done, Hyunjoong!

I think Hyunjoong kidnapped the girl because he knew that someone was trying to kill her, but if he didn't even know who she was, why want to protect her, then? Hmm. I think Hyunjoong fell for the girl, and eventually, vice versa. He gave her some chain with a ring, which she put on herself. (A bloody one, at that.) I don't know, let's just see what happens in the next episode x).

Hyunjoong's acting is really good! (BOF did him some good, indeed ^^.) I love that insane glint in his eyes; he looks like a mad assassin, especially when he was fiddling with the gun and knife.
















LEADER *____________*. I take back everything I said about his hair. He looks really hot. (Which is why, HD ftw!) Kyujong and Jungmin also look great, even though they didn't have much screen-time. (No pictures because they really didn't appear much, okay!)

Don't tell me that the first 4+ minutes of this MV is the MV for Youngsaeng's solo song, 'cos I'm really gonna flip since he appeared only for what, 3 seconds o__O. (EDIT: Apparently the full MV is everyone's MV, so each member will have only a few seconds where they are actually singing the song. But still, only 3 seconds for Youngsaeng is so unfair. Hope he has an acting role in the second episode.)

The next episode is out next Monday! Can't wait to see what's gonna happen. And I want more screen-time for the other members, please! Even though I sure don't mind staring at Leader for as long as I need to xD.

DBSK - Stand by U PV

DBSK version of the PV! Nothing much; just the boys walking around singing the song, like any other PVs for their ballad songs . This time we get a lot of them in one scene, though, so that's something different ^^;;. I like the black set of clothes! (Junsu's sleeves look see-through, though; that's kinda weird xP.) But I'm posting this, because seriously, I can't pimp this song enough ♥♥♥♥♥.

They performed the full song here! Very good performance :)).

And their appearance on Music Fair on 090620 is now subbed! Jaejoong and Junsu are hilarious as always :DD. I think Junsu is just naturally funny (and adorable xD), like he may not realise that he's being funny, while the way Jaejoong says things is funny sometimes. The host is funny too haha! I realised I haven't watched their stuff in a long time xP.
