Cassiopeia.

I wrote in the previous post that I might dedicate a post for Cassiopeia. So now here it is.

Firstly, Cassiopeia is one of the biggest fanclubs in Korea and known as one of the craziest. Some bad stuff done by them actually made the headlines. So let's make a list of the confirmed ones.

1. Stalker-ish behaviour -- hacking the boys' emails, finding out their handphone numbers (one fan even called Yunho, pretending to be his sister), following them everywhere, all the pushing/groping in airports, breaking into their apartments.

2. Over-protective-ness -- watch any Xman and you'd see that all the other artists give way to DBSK. This is not because they're DBSK (afterall they're still juniors in terms of age), but because anybody who 'hurt' them in any way would be attacked by the netizens. Some ex-fans posted online that they stopped liking DBSK because whenever they criticized them in any way, a lot of people would bash them too.

3. Over-obsessive-ness -- girls who 'lay a hand' on them would at once have lots of antifans, who are actually delusional DBSK fans who think that one day they are going to marry the boys. Even rumoured girlfriends of theirs are bashed very badly online.

4. Other incidents -- Cassiopeians almost sued another fanclub for ripping their banners, Jang Yoo Joon (a newbie) got a death threat just because he looked like Jaejoong (IMO it's only the hair, other than that there's no resemblance whatsoever).

By now you're probably thinking that Cassiopeia is full of psychos. But it's not, really. Some stuff which are rumoured to be done by them might have been done by antifans who want to bring down the name of Cassiopeia. Okay, maybe about 1% of them are crazy (not literally), but all of them are very supportive of the boys. And they make me go WOW a lot of times. Pictures!

^seas of red!

^don't ask me how they did that.

^can you see that? "TVXQ". It was during Dream Concert (I think).

^during the Asia Song Festival. Read: TVXQ FLY!

There are so many fans that they can afford to give a lot of branded gifts to the boys. For example, click to see what Junsu got for his birthday. And for the recent 4th Anniversary, they sent bags and bags of food.

^there are lots more. They're so caring, eh?

Clips:
'Kallang wave' during Dream concert
during MKMF -- seriously this is way cool. They just started chanting 동방신기 and sang 믿어요 out of nowhere. How the heck did they get everyone to sing together? o.0 But then again, that's kinda rude to do that when the show was going on.

We can really do without all the over-whatever-ness, or everybody would have the stereotype that Cassiopeia is crazy and DBSK's reputation would also go down. Real fans wouldn't want that to happen, no? Or maybe we should just wait a couple of years, when these young girls will hopefully mature. Then, they may behave as well as Shinhwa Changjo (read!). But the thing is, no matter how insane some of the fans are, without them, DBSK wouldn't be where they are now. And admit it, they are an awesome group of fans who are really dedicated to DBSK. =)
