I love Skip Beat!.=]

Skip Beat! has been turned into anime now. So far it follows the manga almost exactly, which is good. The manga is one of my favourites, actually. It's just sooo good, homg. A lot of times it cracks me up so bad, anyone who sees me would think I was mad. Often it makes me teary too, and sometimes, both at the same time. I actually also really like the female lead, Kyouko, which is quite rare, haha.

The Grand Tribe

I just finished watching Karei-naru Ichizoku (The Grand Tribe), which stars Takuya Kimura. And OMG in the last episode he shot himself with a rifle T_____T. Why the heck is the whole story so convoluted that someone as optimistic and strong as Teppei would feel so bad about his own existence that he killed himself. What a horribly sad ending =((.

How did he manage to look so good just lying in a coffin? LOL xD.

This drama is very serious and can get boring at times, plus the storyline is quite far-fetched (because I refuse to believe that such things do happen in real life, otherwise I'd lose the tiny bit of faith I have in humanity, lol) and I felt suffocated just by the thought of having such a family *shudders*, but I think the acting of the cast made it good. They all act very convincingly and surprisingly, I don't dislike any of them. Taro (Teppei's son) is so adorable :D!

Kimura speaks with a lot of passion and conviction, as seen clearly in his eyes =). Oh and of course, he is as kakkoi as always xDD.

Next I'll watch Gift, which was released in 1997 (his long hair there makes me cringe, but I've long decided to watch all his dramas, so yeah xP), and after that, Change, which was released only this year. Apparently the ratings for Change weren't that good for a drama starring Takuya Kimura =X.

I love Fallin' a lot, especially Tablo's furious rapping starting from 2:52. Taru was there for the second song; she sounds shaky at some parts, maybe because it's her first time performing this song. I really really like Mithra's low voice in the background during Tablo's singing verse.

Jay's album release is postponed to the 15th, since I think Jay is modifying his songs or something due to the leak of the album online. I hope he won't be too pressurised to change the songs and affect the quality of the songs. (But what am I talking about? He's Jay.) I was initially disappointed, but well, it's kinda good in a way; I won't be overloaded with emotions tomorrow. And there's gonna be an additional set of poker cards for the pre-order gift too ^^. The pre-order sales has already exceeded last year's, anyway. But it's like, one-sixth of a certain group's, lol.

Here's the preview of Jay's upcoming second single, 說好的幸福呢. The lyrics are written by 方文山; they're sad, but good. I think I'm gonna like this song a lot; the way Jay sings it is.. I don't know, more desperate? I love you, Jay ♥.

EDIT: I already love this song a lot. I've been replaying it all night, probably listened to the preview more than 100 times already. I almost didn't want to watch my videos and stuff 'cos I wanted to keep listening to the song. haha.

Hwanhee and Hwayobi duet, Endless Love, on WGM Special Episode. Their English sound good. I watched Hwayobi in Xman before and I remember she sang Run To You, sounding really good. Imagine two R&B singers singing together. OMG they sound so beautiful, I just died a hundred times. It's really cute how after the song both of them smiled widely and went "woahh" :D. Hwanhee is quite mean towards Hwayobi, but they're of the same age and knew each other before the show, so I guess it must be weird to suddenly have to treat her as his wife. At least he doesn't pretend to be all nice, and even though he treats her like that, he is also nice in some very small ways, haha. But regardless of everything, just on account of his voice, HWANHEE ♥♥♥. (Well, I love a lot of people's voices, haha. Alex's voice is heavenly too. And and he's so dslfghkHOT in that Peppero game in episode 25 xD.) Hwayobi's personality is very quirky, LOL. They make a good match, I think. She must be the only one who can still smile at him after he is being a meanie towards her xD. I watched all the other new couples too, but this couple is by far my favourite new couple. I hope they will be the ones to replace Andy and Solbi, even though I'm still really sad that they have to leave. And I actually don't wish to see Hwanhee fall into the shit.

10/03 [news] SS501 Kim KyuJong, Kim HyungJoon, Heo YoungSaeng to form 3-member year-end unit.

3 members of SS501, Kim KyuJong, Kim HyungJoon, Heo YoungSaeng, will release an album as a unit.

SS501’s company DSP Entertainment spokesperson revealed to Newsen on the 3rd through a tele-interview “Kim KyuJong, Kim HyungJoon, Heo YoungSaeng will form a new 3-member unit to release an album at end of this year or early next year.”

Thus, the reason to put together 3 members of SS501 in a unit is because the other members, Kim HyunJoong and Park JungMin, will be advancing into acting.

Kim HyunJoong has been casted as the leading actor for KBS 2TV “Boys over Flowers” to be broadcasted this coming December and Park JungMin will debut as a performer through the musical “Grease” this November.

Initially planned for activities in Japan in next year February, but it will be postponed as the members will have their acting activities and activities as a unit.

Meanwhile, SS501 will release a new album in October and starts their activities in Korea.

At first I misinterpreted the article to be no SS501 new album, but the three will release the album while the other two will be acting. That made me very sad, haha. But luckily it isn't like that xD.

Still, I didn't know what to think of this, 'cos well, a "unit" sounds uncannily like Suju to me, and SS501 doesn't have 13 members like Suju does. But well, at least Hyungjoon, Youngsaeng and Kyujong will be kept busy while Jungmin and Hyunjoong are acting. And it's true that the three are the better singers in the group. I'm curious as to how they will sound together without the other two, who have lower voices. I hope SS501 will get back together soon after, though, 'cos it's 501, after all. All the best for all of them!

I'm so looking forward to SS501's new album ♥. It's October already :D.


EDIT 09/10: The unit is named "Triple S", which is also SS501's fanclub's name. I think it's kinda weird that they're using their fanclub's name as their group name, but I'm looking forward to see how they'll do. SS501's new album will only be released in April/May next year, though =((. But then, I guess it's inevitable, considering that the members have so much going on already.

WGM rants again xP.

My favourite couple in WGM is still Andy/Solbi. I don't even know why, which is really weird. And it's not because he is from Shinhwa, 'cos to be really honest, I wasn't half as interested as Andy outside Shinhwa before I watched him on this show. Now I really do like him a lot; he's just so capable (there's practically nothing he can't do o.0) and also realistically sweet and thoughtful ♥. I'd want a husband like him :DD.

Hyunjoong/Hwangbo have been progressing very well, they aren't as awkward as they were before and Hyunjoong has even been jealous a few times, lol. He's been really sweet towards her, and Hwangbo has always been awesome. I wouldn't mind if they do get together; they complement each other well and their characters are suitable for each other. The age difference doesn't really matter if they really like each other, and they can just ignore fans thing, haha. In a way, Hyunjoong/Hwangbo and Andy/Solbi are kinda similar in a way: in one, Hwangbo can do everything, from cooking to cleaning; in the other, Andy is the one who is like that. (Alex is like that too, anyway.) I somehow think that Andy/Solbi couple is the most realistic one, though. Crown J/In Young are really comfortable with each other, whether it is in terms of speech or behaviour (they're really quite touchy-feely for a make-believe couple). I think they have the highest chance of getting together in real life. (Or.. they are already together, lol.) I haven't been keeping up with Alex/ShinAe after they came back, so I can't say anything about them. (I really will watch them one day!) But I really love Andy/Solbi couple. They have always been my favourite, but now then I really realise that. I feel sad that they're gonna leave very soon because both of them are gonna focus on their solo careers =(. Can't they get together in real life?

I think Hwanhee/Hwayobi are gonna replace Andy/Solbi. They were one of the guest couples in that special episode last month, and I think since they were popular and there is gonna be an empty slot, they are gonna be a permanent couple on the show. I haven't watched it yet but I heard Hwanhee is a meanie, lol xD.

DBSK's vocals are.. well, unquestionably good. I'm really proud of Yunho; there is a marked improvement in his vocals, as heard in DBSK's new album. (I think he changed his way of singing in some songs, though, he sounds a lot like Changmin in those o.0.) I especially love his voice in You're My Song. Love in the Ice was truly flawless; my favourite part in it is the Hosu duet, 'cos.. even though the high notes are mad awesome, they're kinda overwhelming. (And I'm just Hosu-biased, what xDD.) You Raise Me Up with Ye Eun on the piano was beautiful; Junsu's voice fsklfdks. I was really happy when they sang Miduhyo and Hug; Miduhyo is one of my favourite Korean songs of theirs and Hug was just really cute xD. The low version of My Little Princess acappella is ROFL; Yunho's voice went crazy low. Hey! was lip-synched, but obviously no one cared as the screamings were louder than the music, lol. The dancing was great and I love how Yunho tossed his jacked off the stage right before the music started, haha. Mirotic was LIVE, though, and it was so impressive how they managed to sound that good ♥. The dancing is hot too xD. The other Love in the Ice performance is really awesome too, but I think there was some mic glitches at the bridge 'cos only Junsu could be heard.

That's what I'm talking about when I say that DBSK is my favourite vocal group, not chest porn or muscles exhibit xD.

The clip of them visiting Ye Eun's house is one of the sweetest clips ever, really ♥♥♥. Just watch it =).


EDIT: Minwoo's latest Don't Trust Men performance is as hot as ever xD. I spotted one recently uploaded Hyesung's Because of You performance too! I was worried that he had stopped promoting the song, haha.

Hyesung went on Mnet Street Sound Take 1 (1 2); he looks good with specs =). They look like a bunch of old friends who get together once in a while to drink and jam together, haha. He performed the piano/acoustic version of Because of You. fgasdhsksimplyGORGEOUS ♥. He also sang Love Actually and some other songs. Well, knowing Hyesung, he sang each song really beautifully. I loved it when he sang I Just Called to Say I Love You; his English is really good (at least, with the English lyrics on the screen it sounds perfectly alright xD) and it's the adlibs near the end, the SMILE and very casual way he sang yet how sweet he sounded that made me die xP. He also rapped a bit (he sounds good actually ^^) and beat-boxed, and talked about how he can't rap and beat-box for long 'cos he'd get breathless. It must be the damn cigarettes death sticks, dear Hyesung. And you still aren't planning to quit? Tsk D:. He was in a very good mood, all smiles throughout. And I think he was kinda high; it must be the wine lol xD. I really enjoyed watching this 'cos it's so apparent how much Hyesung loves singing :).

It's finally confirmed that Hyunjoong's gonna star as Rui in the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango =). I'm excited for this, since Rui is my favourite character in HYD (I always end up liking whoever's acting as Rui, lol) and Hyunjoong obviously has got the looks for the role. But like I said before, he's so crazy in real life that I'm interested in how he's gonna pull it off. I hope he's not gonna overwork himself, though, with SS501's new album coming up, WGM recordings and all. He already overdosed on sleeping pills (he took 6 of them) a while back since he got insomnia =(. Hyunjoong hwaiting ♥! Jungmin too, he is gonna take part in Grease musical; it'd be SO perfect for him since he's so drama lol. SS501 hwaiting! xD

6. Jay Chou - 一路向北
My #1 favourite song, along with Just One More Time. This song is really.. depressing for me, somehow. Like, I'll listen to this song when I'm feeling down as it reflects what I'm feeling. Yet, it's just such a nice song, I don't even know why I love it so much ♥.

7. Shinhwa - 흔적 (Destiny of Love)

Went to fetch my aunts at Harbour Front in the afternoon. I realised that I really miss them, it's been five years since I last saw them.

Epik High - 1 Minute 1 Second (feat. Taru)

The first single off their new mini album, Lovescream. So many good albums released consecutively; I haven't even got around to listening to each album proper. But anyway! This^ MV is played backwards, it's kinda cool. I love the scene of Tablo playing the piano; I was staring at his fingers lol. And the song itself is nice! Taru's voice fits the song well and Tablo actually sang in it, he sounds good :D! The mini album has 7 songs, including the interludes. I think now they're using less electric sounds and more of piano, which is quite a nice change. The instrumentals are so pretty *__*. I love Epik High so hard ♥. But I won't tell you that I love Tablo as much xD.
