It's one of the songs he performed during American Idol; the above^ audio is the studio version. The original is by Mariah Carey. Both versions are really good. But I like how Cook changed the song and made it his own.

I want to learn to play Cook's version on the guitar too; it's so nice :DD.

I just went on a mass scores downloading spree, LOL. A lot of the chords look super complicated though; I don't know whether I'll be able to actually play any of them =X.

090222 F.T Island - Bad Woman @ Inkigayo

The stage looks gorgeous! The boys have nice new outfits too ^^; my favourite is Minhwan's. I think I'm getting used to Hongki's hair, lolol. Someone slap me in the face, please xP.

I like how their instruments are always plugged on Inkigayo. I love Jonghun's guitar solo, and how effortlessly he seems to play it.

HONGKI FINALLY CAUGHT THAT BEAT EXACTLY! How ecstatic I am, LOL. But I think his mic was too soft; sometimes the instruments were kinda drowning his voice out. It was still a wonderful performance though!

I'm gonna try being honest for once.

I'm a normal 17-year-old girl. I do have minor superficial crushes on guys from time to time, especially since I'm naturally a neutral person who is open-minded and accepting towards almost everyone. And if you haven't noticed already, I'm really straight, haha. In fact, if you:

1. are nice/friendly, or at least seem nice,
2. are mature, or at least seem like you're mature inside,
3. smile a lot,
4. SMS with appropriate smiley faces,
5. look pleasant, which doesn't necessarily mean good-looking,
6. behave like a guy,
7. aren't annoying most of the time,
8. aren't shorter than me,
9. aren't younger than me,

then it's not totally impossible that I've had a crush on you before. This crush can be as short as 3 seconds, or as long as a few days, but all of them are superficial. That's the bad thing about being so neutral: I'm prone to all these crushes. The list above is not even my standard or anything; it's the trend that I notice in the guys I've had crushes on. The last one is, though; as much as possible I tell myself that guys younger than me are out of bounds, even if it's only one day younger.

However, because of my low self-esteem and what I'd refer to as high self-awareness and self-restraint, I've been able to get over them really quickly. Maybe except for just one. The demons have been of great help, haha.

In general, I like nice guys. But like I said, they're just minor crushes. I've never really known what the word "love" means in real terms, even though I've been using it in every fandom post you can find in this blog. Maybe it's because I'm always telling myself that someone like me will never be loved. Which is why I think it is admirable to love -- it takes great courage to love someone, or even to admit to yourself that you're in love.

But for now, I need more demons, please.

090211 on Chocolate (1 2) -- SS501's stylists need a pay rise. SERIOUSLY xDD. First they performed the acoustic version of Because I'm Stupid with a live band, to three lucky girls. The middle one wouldn't look at Kyu though - she should know that a lot of girls are dying to be in that spot, lol xP. That girl and Youngsaeng looked super cute somehow; he's experienced and it's obvious xP. The acoustic version sounds SO good; hope they will perform with a live band again one day or release it online or something :). Next was an interview I don't understand but watched anyway, haha. Last they performed U R Man (Remix), which was great ^^.


090215 Because I'm Stupid @ Open Concert

How many times I've said that they look fly, I don't know *___*. (I'm on my way to Quainte to save lots of pictures xDD.) Love how the cameraman captured some girls/women in the audience singing along ^^. Very good performance; they're pros xD.


090215 on Gag Concert -- Kyujong and Youngsaeng were in the audience, laughing cutely at jokes I don't understand xP. Some digs at their group name were made, and I was wondering where Hyungjoon was when he appeared on stage xD. He got to sing a bit of Because I'm Stupid, then some guy dressing up as Hyunjoong came out, lol xP. I like how casual the boys were dressing ^^.


090219 L.E.O feat. Hyungjoon - Love Train @ Mcountdown -- The intro was nice. Kyujong was the MC xD. I need to get this song; it's catchy and I love Hyungjoon's voice in it, haha xDD. Love his hair; it makes him look younger than he already does. He's so, so adorable xPPP.

Kyujong + Hyungjoon - Lonely Girl [recording | interview] -- I wonder why Youngsaeng wasn't involved in this. Anyway, it's a song for some soundtrack, which has Amy in it muahaha xD. It's a sweet song, but is it just me or do I only hear Hyungjoon during the falsettos? They both sound good, by the way. The matching micky mouse shirts they were wearing during the interview are so cute! Kyujoon ftw ♥!

F.T Island - Missing You + Bad Woman performances

090219 @ Mcountdown -- They were wearing the same outfits as the first Bad Woman performance. Hongki lost his red hand-strings thingy, thank goodness xP. Their instruments aren't plugged, but they most of the time aren't so it's no big deal. The string ensemble is jamming with them also ^^. The stage looks cool and all, but I can't help but notice how cramped they seemed; Jonghun looked like he would bump into Minhwan's drums if he moved an inch o.O. Hongki's hair doesn't look that bad pinned up, or maybe it's just my bias lol xP. He was too fast again before the last chorus. But well, that beat is kinda hard to catch, so it's forgivable ^_^;;. His smirk at 4:18 was hot xPP. Jaejin is adorable! (It's alright saying someone younger than me is adorable, okay!)


090220 @ Music Bank

The stage looks cool =]. Still the same outfits as the previous performance for Missing You. I noticed that in the beginning even when Jonghun and Seunghyun weren't playing their guitars, Jonghun's fingers were moving as if he was playing Jaejin's part, haha. He must love music :). They changed into a new outfit for Bad Woman - all of them had good ones ^^. Love how the Pris sang along during "aiya~" and their cheers! Hongki must have been trying to slow down, 'cos he's just slightttly too slow this time xP. He sang with so much emotion for this song, I thought he was gonna start crying at 4:39 o.O. He sounded soooo good, omg ♥♥♥. The camera didn't catch his (hot) smirk when he pointed to the audience, but other than that (and being a bit slow), everything else is perfect ♥.

The cut at the dressing room was SO CUTE! The four original members were waving (and looking cute xDD) and the MC asked where the new member was, then they pointed down and Seunghyun appeared (looking shy xP) and the four started "beating him up", LOL! Jaejin's \:DD/ expression at the beginning and end is so adorable, guhhh. How many times I've watched this 14-seconds clip, I don't know xPP.

It's a beautiful song, and Hyesung's voice is seriously gorgeous guh *___*. AND he's looking so pretty is this MV too (don't kill me, Hyesung!); the ponytail, the muffler, the smile, everything xDD. The MV is sad, but the couple scenes are really cute ^^. I haven't really listened to the whole album yet, will listen to it when I have the time :). (I don't know why the album can't be added into iTunes, which means that it can't be put into my iPod as well T___T.)


090219 @ Mcountdown -- He has cut his hair a bit shorter from the last time I saw him at the photoshoot; it looks good :)). The fans' cheerings were kinda messy ^__^;;. But at the beginning of the second verse they were really noisy -- what's up with the people who were there on that day -.-". The stage is really pretty and I love how practically a string ensemble (is that how you call it? xP) was playing as he sang. Good performance!

He's rocking the whole look - his hair, his outfit, everything looked great. Love how at first he stood singing on a dark stage with only one spotlight on him, then during the chorus the stage lighted up, revealing the string ensemble. The fans' cheers were more organised - they made me smile =]. AWESOME performance :)).

090215 @ SBS Inkigayo -- Brian went a little off on one note, haha. Great performance, even though Brian's outfit still looked weird xP. They looked at each other again at that crazy part :).


090219 @ Mcountdown -- Love the introduction video, where images of them over the years were shown :). The dancing in the beginning was scrapped, instead the duo stood on a lifted, lighted box which somehow make them look more good-looking, if that makes sense o.O. Finally I see great outfits! Did they fire their old stylists? LOL xPP. And Hwanhee had his hair down; he looks much better like that ^^. Good performance as always, but the noisy fans irked me a little and the cameraman is kinda bad -.-.

Is Hwanhee's hair gonna be down permanently? I hope so, 'cos it looks awesome xD. Good outfits too =]. Hwanhee's "bogoshipo" part where he usually knelt down got cut -.-. But it's an awesome performance! At the end they used to face the back but now they turned around and faced the camera xDD.

090215 F.T Island Comeback - Missing You & Bad Woman @ Inkigayo

EDIT: It's now in HD, muahahaha xD.

Their instruments are plugged :DD! (Oh and they might not have been playing LIVE, as someone noticed that there was no microphone for the drums and the amplifiers didn't look like they were plugged to anywhere. I'm not sure though =X.)

Missing You first; perfect performance! Love how everyone's so into their playing xD. The boys are looking really good -- nice outfits and hair-dos. Except for Hongki's. Minhwan's looking hot on the drums; however wrong that may sound, let me not care for now xPP. I think it's the hair, the way he tilted his head up, and the emo look *__*. Seunghyun is really tall ^^. He looks good! Jaejin looks really tiny with that hair, but good all the same. I really like Jonghun's hair, thank goodness he didn't keep the previous album's style xD.

Bad Woman next; they changed their outfits into black and white. The stage changed too; how cool :D. Love Pris' cheers! Seriously, Hongki should really cut his hair -.-"". And why does his outfits seem kinda off today too? The stylists must have something against him, lol. (Or maybe it's the hair that makes everything looks wrong, haha!) Love how he pointed to the camera and sang, "neon nabbeun yeoja ya" at the end of the second chorus. He was half-a-beat too fast into the last chorus, but other than that, he did great. Jonghun's guitar solo! Leader is awesome :D. Everyone did great :)).

Some people are talking about how emo the boys look; I'd prefer to say that they're just matching their expressions with the emotions and lyrics of the songs. I mean, we can't expect them to look all smiley while performing sad songs -.-. And Hongki always has that I'm-dying-of-heartbreak look when singing sad songs, so I'd think that it's quite normal xP.

I don't know why they only performed the 2 songs which have only Hongki singing in them, instead of having another song which has Seunghyun singing/rapping. Maybe they aren't really confident about him singing LIVE yet? I don't know. But you know that I'm not complaining of getting to hear more of Hongki xP. (Well, technically he's the lead singer of the group and he should sing more xD!) And besides, Seunghyun has a lot of time to showcase his skills in the future =].

Izi - 응급실 (Emergency Room)

One of the songs from Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. (I'm at episode 10 now!) It's a really really nice song; really fits with the emotional scenes in the drama. I think one would love this song much more after watching the drama, but it's nice enough on its own. I think this version is different from the one in the drama, though; it sounds more rock-ish somehow. Both are good :D. The lead singer has a great voice :). There are other very nice songs in the soundtrack, but this one is my favourite ^^.

When I heard the song in the drama for the first time I thought that I heard it somewhere before, but just couldn't put a finger on where I heard it. Turns out Hongki sang it before on a radio show. I must say that the original is still the best, but Hongki more than did the song justice; he sounded really good =]. The original singer's voice is actually kinda hoarse too, so Hongki's voice fits the song well. And the eyebrow-raise thing he did at the end is cute xD.

What do you know, I'm actually refreshing Youtube every 5 minutes, waiting for F.T Island's comeback performance to be uploaded. Someone already uploaded a LQ version, but I'm patiently waiting for a better quality version xP. According to her, Seunghyun didn't get to showcase his abilities at all =X.

F.T Island - 사랑하는 법을 몰라서 (Because I Didn't Know How To Love)

How many times I've watched this, I have no idea. lol.

One of my favourite songs from their first album :). This is a cut from Idol World; it was the first time they performed this, I think. I'd have liked them to perform the whole song, but well, I'm contented with just this ^^. Jonghun played the piano! Minhwan was so funny air-drumming and lipsynching to the song, lol. Is it just me or does Wonbin look like Yesung in this? The Hongki/Wonbin harmonization sounds nice. I think I've said it too many times, but really, Hongki's voice is ♥♥♥. Hwangbo was so totally amazed, I'm telling you xD. 2PM was there too; I see Nichkhun! He's cute xP.

Jaejin performed it solo in their recent Japan concert, doing really great. I've always known that he's got a nice voice. He got to sing more in the new mini album, too, which is good =].

Wonbin had his last appearance with F.T Island a few days ago, in their fanmeeting in Japan. And he cleared up the rumours about him leaving the band. Good luck, kid, in whatever you do ♥.

Their mini album is great, by the way. Seunghyun's rap sounds like Wonbin's o.O. I'm not 100% sure about who sings which parts, but I think he's got a nice voice ^^. Like I said, Jaejin sang more, and Jonghun got to sing too! I'm too lazy to do a review of the mini album (even though it's only 6 songs), but really, F.T Island's music is wonderful. The instruments are actually there, clearly, and they are good. I'm currently in love with the piano part of Bad Woman :D.

Great, great performance of both songs. Love one part where they were singing looking at each other, haha. I haven't listened to the album yet, but Restriction is a good song. Love the sleek dance moves! The female dancer that danced with Brian in the beginning of the song is pretty xD. I like the read streaks in Brian's hair. And both of them are looking hot *__*, even though Brian's sleeves look too big and Hwanhee's one-black-and-one-white sleeves are kinda weird.

090213 Because I'm Stupid + L.E.O - Love Train (feat. Hyungjoon) @ Music Bank -- I love SS501's stylists, full stop. Anyway, Because I'm Stupid was good, as usual. I read about Hyungjoon being featured in L.E.O's song, Love Train, but I didn't actually get around to listening to it xP. It's a cute song, anyway, and I really like Hyungjoon's voice! He looked super adorable in the pink shirt and white suit. And so smiley xD. Some guy dressed in taekwondo costume and lion-head mask appeared too, and Hyungjoon looked like he was laughing at it at some point, lol xPP. In the waiting room the three were holding signs of "Park Jeong Mal, Kim Hyun Joong, saranghae" too, so cute xDD.

Hyesung's 3rd jib Side 2: Keep Leaves, is going to be released on the 17th. I seriously can't wait! The teasers (1 2) just made me anticipate it more, especially since the preview of the new song sounds good. He looks great in the preview of the MV too! Here's the album jacket photoshoot. His hair is wayy too long -.-"". I wished he had kept his previous shorter hair, or at least not keep such long hair =X. But I have to agree that he's really photogenic; those photos look gorgeous.

090207 Yunho birthday celebration fancam @ SMTown Bangkok concert

This was all kinds of cute xD. Leeteuk mentioned something about someone among them celebrating his birthday, I think, then Yunho went and said, "kamsahamnida" even before his name was said, so someone pushed him from the back, lol xP. Then the SM family and the fans sang Happy Birthday song, conducted by Yunho and someone beside him xD. Then Micky and a few others brought out a cake, and a few of them and Yunho blew the candles. Then Siwon fed Yunho cream and stood in front him, so you know how it looked like xP; fanservice FTW! Then they got Yunho to talk, I think, and the SJ members were surrounding him, when suddenly Shindong grabbed him and Kangin or Changmin smashed the cake on his face xDD.

Great great great performance! I think this is the best performance of this song so far. Every note was perfect! And Hyungjoon did his "mmm~" again; hope he'll keep doing it xD. Usually Youngsaeng sings one chorus at the end, but now it was cut a little. I wonder why >:[.

I listened to the song first before watching the MV. At the first listen it's not that special, but then I listened to it again and I really like it now *____*. Definitely F.T Island-style of music. Love the piano in the beginning, and the guitar part near the end. Hongki's voice OMGOMG.

EDIT: You know what? My spazzing didn't give Hongki's voice and singing justice. So: HONGKI'S VOICE *^&*%OMG.

The MV is so much ANGST. The boys are looking really good; Jonghun was so totally sexy, I'm not used to seeing Jaejin looking all emo since he's such an adorable kid but he looked good, Minhwan like I said looked really mature, Seunghyun looked great even though he had only like 5 seconds of screentime, and I really dislike Hongki's hair, but I love him and that's it xP. Those rectangular frames the boys are in are so distracting, lmao. I wished they'd show more of the other members playing their instruments rather than just Hongki singing, not that I mind xPP.

I'm looking forward to their mini album! Hope we'll get to hear Seunghyun singing/rapping in the other songs ^^.

0602 Music Bank -- LOL Youngsaeng forgot to sing at 1:46, haha! (I realised that that part was supposed to be Kyujong's, but somehow in these latest performances it became Youngsaeng's. I wonder why?) I love Hyungjoon's "mmm~" at 2:23; it should have been included in the recorded version xDD.

090202 First Official Pictures of the new F.T Island

I'm not used to this new F.T Island yet as I usually see a certain Wonbin somewhere there, but I'm glad that the boys are looking generally happy, or at least making an effort to look happy. However, out of all the pictures I saw, I didn't see any one in which Hongki was smiling, save for 2 where he was playing around with Jonghun (I think). He mostly looked emo/bored/tired/I-don't-know what-it-was. I won't over-analyse anything, though. So let's just take it that they're all positively trying to adapt to their new environment.

Jaejin's hair makes him look tiny; so adorable xDD. Totally digging Jonghun's; it looks good. Not much change in Minhwan's; he looks cute as usual. Hongki! I was hoping he'd do something about his hair, but I don't think he will ;___;. I really like his 2nd jib hair; he looked more like a hot guy than a pretty girl then. But now it just looks weird =((. I should stop complaining until I see more of it, though =X.

Here's the filming of the MV for the new song from their upcoming mini album, Bad Woman. (EDIT: HERE's the subbed version!) Only a bit of the song was played, but I'm really really glad that their genre hasn't changed - the song is still a rock-ballad :))))). Can't comment more on the song due to the short and muffled preview, but I can't wait for their new mini album ^^. Minhwan is the lead in this MV, apparently. Seriously, when Minhwan keeps a straight face, he looks like a better-looking version of Rain. And VERY HONESTLY, he looks like a grown-up like that, that I'd forget that he's 1 year and 4 months younger than me. Like, he's really good-looking! But when he smiles, he again looks like the kid he is, and I can heave a sigh of relief xPP. The transformation is kinda amazing, actually.

Seunghyun introduced himself as a new F.T Island member as vocal/rapper/guitarist (that's exactly Wonbin's part), and said some other stuff I don't understand (xP). I think he's still not very used to the camera yet, but that's understandable, of course. And I read an article in LOVEFT-I that he has learnt the guitar for 3 years, piano for 7 years. Wow, that sounds impressive already. He sounds humble and aware that he's got lots to catch up on. Hope the other members will guide him along the way =].

Last, some pictures of Seunghyun. I think he's quite cute :). But he's born in August '92, like I mentioned in the previous post. So, yeah ^_^;;.















Only his solo pictures were posted there, anyway. Other than that there are some grainy pictures of Minhwan with the MV lead girl, but I don't fancy grainy pictures, so I didn't even save them xP.

I just re-organised my FTI picture folder -- everything before Wonbin's departure went into "1st gen" and from now on everything is going into "2nd gen". That's my way of letting go of Wonbin (I still love you, kiddo!) and accepting the new F.T Island =]. BUT I sincerely hope that the "2nd gen" is going to be the last one until the name F.T Island is no more.

The four original members performed there yesterday. I'm just relieved that they look fine. Jaejin's big smile lifted some stones from my mind, lol. Jonghun's hair looks good ^^. I'm not liking Hongki's; I hope he will do something about it before the mini album xP.

090131 SS501 - Because I'm Stupid @ Music Core

Wow nowadays we are so spoiled with so many HD videos :DD.

In the first half, Kyujong looked progressively like he was about to burst into tears, and just before the first chorus, he sounded really like he was going to cry. In the second, I think I saw some tears already on his face o____O, and before the second chorus he sounded like he was struggling to keep this voice steady, because he was crying. Why, I wonder. But the way he sang so emotionally and would suddenly look intensely into the camera made me die.

Hyungjoon's first falsetto part was slightly too soft and he faltered a bit during the "Baby I" part. Kyujong's falsetto was kinda shaky. But hey, this is me being extremely picky, even more than usual xP. Youngsaeng held his own, as always. Very good performance :).

And needless to say, they look great xD.

Heechul / Hongki

Heechul and Hongki became close after How to be A Good Daddy ^^. (I wish more episodes are subbed.. I only watched the first episode and some subbed cuts ;__;.) Anyway, was reading in wordpress that Heechul commented in his cyworld about the song, Saranghajimayo; that it is a song that "made a love-filled-comment gush out of me" and "makes it seem as if it really is sad to love". He also said that it was the song he was listening to while taking a shower "which made Donghae open the door abruptly to ask, 'what song is this?'" and soon enough,"became Donghae's caller ring and ring tone". YES, THAT SONG, IS A FREAKIN' MASTERPIECE. I put in on repeat the whole of yesterday and the day before, when I was damn emo xPP. I'm glad there are people who share the same views as me :).



That person also cut the video above. Heechul imitated how Hongki sang in the Gayo Daejun, to which Hongki explained that they had 3 concerts on the previous 3 consecutive days, which led Heechul to imitate how he cried when singing Saranghajimayo in the concert, which Hongki explained was because he was overcome with emotions, I think. Boys Over Flowers episode 5

1. JunPyo saved JanDi, YAY! Lee Min Ho was awesome in that scene; one can see that he was actually more angry with himself for not believing her.












2. F2 brought MinJi to JunPyo, and her past was revealed. JunPyo looked so leaderly in that scene. F2 was just at the side watching, but after she was saying how they" laughed at her as if she was a freak", EeJung swallowed, still watching her, and seriously it may not sound like it but that scene was great. Man, I want to watch East of Eden already; KimBum *___*.












3. I actually felt sorry for MinJi. The actress (I don't know her name) was good.

4. JunPyo actually apologised, albeit still maintaining his arrogant expression. What a mild Domyouji. No, scratch that. He told her that she's still a freak, but worse than before, 'cos "at least the girl back then, her heart was still pure." WTH?! You called her a freak back then! I can forgive you just because you were still a kid, and now she did something unforgiveable to the girl you love, hmpgh.

5. Until now, episode 5, I still get annoyed by JanDi sometimes.

6. JunPyo applying medicine for JanDi was really, really sweet ♥. He was like, so caring!












7. Lee Min Ho is hot. Damn it.

8. She fell asleep while he was applying the medicine. The way he looked at her, MANN. And he kissed the side of her forehead ♥♥♥. And she was actually awake xDDD.












9. The little brother's reaction when JunPyo came to JanDi's house! LMAO!

10. JanDi defended MinJi when the bimbos were laughing at her for her plastic surgery. Cool!

11. JanDi slapped MinJi, twice (I can see the finger marks; poor her!), and walked away looking sad after that. Very nicely acted. The scene where she cried looking at the doll was also great.

12. JunPyo officially announced that JanDi is his girlfriend (while F2 cheered) xDD! And he told the people not to mess with her, until someone said, "I object!" JiHoo is back, looking cheery. Yay!












13. JunPyo really loves his furry coats, lol. And he should know that furry coats and video games don't match, hahaha.

14. JanDi scolded JunPyo for sending lots of furnitures and said, "I don't know whether you treat your previous girlfriends like this, but I really hate this kind of thing", to which he replied that he didn't have a girlfriend before. HOW CUTE!

15. F2 have always been flirting with the ladies, but this time JiHoo was too. Those girls are lucky, lol xPP. (In the J-version Rui was kissing two different girls, though xD.)












16. JanDi met JiHoo again on the rooftop. JiHoo asked whether she was really dating JunPyo, wondered aloud whether he came back too late, jokingly asked her out, and saying that he had missed her. Hyunjoong is really improving! I didn't feel any awkwardness at all; the scene was very natural. That's great :)).












17. JunPyo threw a coin and hid at one side to see her reactions, lol cute xP.

18. Unexpectedly, JunPyo isn't as retarded as I thought xD.

19. EeJung went to fetch GaEul under the lure of a white porcelain (bribe) from JunPyo. And making her think that something bad happened to JanDi in the process, lol xP. It was just a scam to make JanDi (and GaEul) to go with F4 on a trip. Of course, all JunPyo's idea xD.

20. Arriving at the destination (some French island), F2 was greeted by 2 Caucasian ladies in bikinis (lol that sounds kinda wrong).

21. JiHoo is cool in this episode :).

22. EeJung/GaEul got a solo scene! GaEul is spunky, I like her =].

23. JunPyo took JanDi for a romantic meal on a deserted island. I love the chemistry between the two!












24. The last scene is of JunPyo unbuttoning his shirt and JanDi's o___O expression. Like, LOL!












25. Man, I think I'm falling for JunPyo xPP. He's nicer than nice in this episode; I don't know whether that is allowed for a Domyouji, but still ♥♥♥.


I will rewatch this drama one day, when I'm not so spazzy and blogging at the same time and will be able to focus on the show better xP.
