090108 Mnet Countdown U R Man + winning #1/ encore
Why didn't I see this before?! OMG I SO FAIL DD:. Anyway this performance was still the original U R Man, and seriously, I can't decide which outfit is the best so far 'cos they always look great in each one :D. (Like I said so many times, I love their stylists ♥!) I can also go on and on about how flyyy they look, but I'll just sound like a superficial fangirl, so I won't xP. GREAT performance though! Really good with the dance moves, vocals, facial expressions and everything. They also won #1 that day! Congrats guys ♥♥♥! They so deserve that award; U R Man is such a catchy song and they've been performing so well :)). Hyungjoon almost cried (like he usually does xP) I think, but he held it in and said his thank-you speech ^^. Kyujong looked so cute holding onto the trophy :D. Love how Hyungjoon kept thanking the fans during the encore xD.
The first U R Man (Remix) performance, on 090109. I clearly need to watch more of their performances ;__;. Anyway! Looking hot and nice outfits, as usual. I noticed that for the Remix performances Hyungjoon and Kyujong's hair are permed a little; is it supposed to signify the Remix? LOLOL xDD. I prefer the un-permed hair better, but oh wells ^_^;;.Great performance too; I like the new dance moves :). I think Kyujong's old move for his "Saenggakkae" part was better, but the new one is not bad either and both moves are used in the performance ^^. (Do I sound very particular? That part is actually one of my favourite in the whole song xD.) They did great for the dance break in the middle! (The dance break in the original version is nice too by the way :D.) I don't know why this first performance was better than the second, but oh wells, it's normal to mess up at times and I believe they will continue doing well :D.
Here's another performance of the original one, at YTN Live Power Music on the 10th. Maybe I've been watching a lot of performances of this song, that from the very first line Hyungjoon started singing I knew it was lipsynched xP. I don't know why they were lipsynching as I know they have been performing it LIVE every time. But anyway, I can honestly say that the LIVE version sounds better, or at least I like it better ^^. It proves that they're really doing great vocally, I feel :).
They're promoting the Remix version now, and have been performing literally every single day xD. Here's a performance at Inkigayo on the 11th; the mic sounded slightly muffled but they still did great. Did Youngsaeng used to do that move he did at 1.30-1.32? Damn Youngsaeng, calm the smex down *_____*. The dance break was good! Love the chest-thumping move near the end too ^^. The won their first Mutizen Song Award too! Oh man when they started promoting the song I was kinda disappointed that they weren't winning any awards yet, but now they are finally getting the awards they deserve :))). It was so cute when Kyujong was crying and Hyungjoon was saying his speech but he seemed like he was about to cry too, and Youngsaeng was smiling and pointing at Kyujong and Hyungjoon just shouted, "Kyujong ah!" and passed the mic to him xDD. I spot Hyungjoon hugging Kyujong when the MCs were talking, then again at the beginning of the encore, then Youngsaeng patted thw two of them on their backs and Hyungjoon and Kyujong continued hugging each other. It reminds me of the time they won the award for Deja Vu; Hyungjoon was crying so hard and Kyujong was the one who hugged him tightly :). (Come back soon, Leader, or I might just start liking Kyujoon more and more xDD.)
I think Baby (ahem, as in Hyungjoon xP) has grown up; he has learnt how to control his emotions better :). But like the Mariah Carey song goes, "You'll always be my baby~~". ROFL pardon me xDDD.
The three sang one song for Boys Over Flowers, 내 머리가 나빠서 (Because I'm Stupid). It sounds nice and the boys sound great =]. I think I'll like the song even more when I watch the drama, and it's nice seeing the boys supporting Hyunjoong ^^. I had previously read that all 5 would be singing the ballad version - which got me all excited - while the 3 will sing the dance version by themselves. Maybe the plan was changed? I don't really mind, though; I'll just wait patiently until SS501's album a few months later xD. The trio sings great, anyway! I'm reallyyy proud of them; I can hear that they have improved vocally :)). They will be guest-starring in episode 4 of the drama as singers performing U R Man, haha! That's great :DD. Wished Jungmin could have participated somehow too, but I'm contented enough as it is =D.
